RMT - The SSS (Shuckle Support Squad)

Hey guys, I'm new to competitive Pokemon battling, been testing this team for 2 weeks now peaking at around 1500. Shuckle is one of my favourite pokemon so I decided to build a team around his impeccable defenses by adding sweepers. Any improvements on this team would be awesome, you can suggest different pokemon too but Shuckle is irreplaceable!

(~LORD~) Shuckle @ Leftovers
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Impish Nature
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Rest
- Protect

ALL HAIL LORD SHUCKLE! The big boss of the team, he definitely holds his own in OU as I can switch into pretty much anything with him. I use him as a stealth rocker as he doesn't have offensive moves and toxic + rest is for toxic stalling. Rest is for longevity. Taunt/Steel/Poison are problems but I just switch out for em.

(~Shuckle's Hitman~) Haxorus @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Superpower
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Poison Jab/Iron Tail/Rock Slide

This dragon is hax. His beasty attack + Outrage + Choice Scarf allows me to OHKO/2HKO most pokemon and sweep teams if lucky, gotta watch out for Choice-chomp though. Superpower and Earthquake are for coverage. Been trialling poison jab and iron tail for fairy switchins but still stuck on that fourth moveslot.

(~Shuckle's Bodyguard~) Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Superpower
- Crunch
- Stone Edge
- Thunderpunch/Ice punch

My second choice scarfer, people don't expect him to have it so I've won a few battles cause of that. Stone Edge deals with Mega Charizards, Mega Pinsir and Talonflame easily. Crunch kills Gengar and Espeon and Superpower is great coverage. Again still stuck on the last moveslot, the punchs don't do enough damage for me and even when they're super effective Stone Edge is better.

(~Shuckle's Pet~) Heatran @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 112 HP / 160 SAtk / 236 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Overheat
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon

My third choice scarfer lol, Heatran is really important for dealing with annoying Steel-types like Scizor, Klefki, Ferrothorn and Aegislash. Fire and Steel typing has great resistances. Hidden Power Ice OHKOs Landorus and nobody expects it hehe. Earth Power is for Heatran V Heatran. Flash Cannon is for fairies and STAB, don't find it that useful tbh.

(~Shuckle's Jester~) Banette-Mega @ Banettite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Brave Nature
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond
- Sucker Punch
- Protect

Mega Banette works amazingly although hard to use. A great switchin for fighting types like Conkeldurr and I can neutralise any threat to my team with Destiny bond. Taunt deals with defensive and stall types and Protect is for safe mega evolving. Sucker Punch takes advantage of weakened foes and that huge attack stat.

(~Shuckle's Pony~) Keldeo @ Life Orb
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Secret Sword
- Icy Wind
- Hidden Power [Fire]

This pony is on steroids. His resistance to water is important since Shuckle, Heatran and Tyranitar are weak to it. He has amazing coverage and 2HKOs most pokemon. Hydro Pump/Secret Sword are fairly standard. Icy Wind is great for switchins since he doesn't have a Choice Scarf. Hidden Power Fire is used rarely, tried Grass for Rotom-W but Secret Sword deals more damage.

Pokemon I struggle with:
Rotom-W - its killable but does take a lot of resources
Conkeldurr - don't have any Flying/Psychic moves
Single Water types - my team is quite weak to water and I don't have good coverage for them
There's probably a few more but I forgot...

Original team, but with no spinner/ defogger and 3 scarfed pokemon SR kills u.
And no priority.
Imho replace haxorus with weakness policy dragonite, remove the scarf from heatran, replace overheat with lava plume, remove flash cannon (all fairy has a HUGE Sdef) and give him taunt.
In this way u can probably stop all mons that try to put rocks/spikes.
Or replace keldeo with starmie (u still have superpower on CStar).
and run pursuit on CSTar. Even if u hit first with crunch, latwins/ starmie can try to switch, because they think u wanna DDance/set rocks (i don't hink u lead with shuckle if u see sableye/thundurus in the team preview)
