RMT: TWEWY Style (OU)

So today I have been playtesting my first modern OU team since the Platinum switch (I've been busier with other stuff), and have been getting positive results. I seem to mainly have problems with attacking, with only a Lead and single Sweeper. So, lets cut to the chase, here is my team at a glance.

Team TWEWY(The World Ends With You):

The Lead: The Beatwagon
dpmba392.png

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 64 Atk/194 Spd/252 SAtk
Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def)
- Close Combat
- Fake Out
- Stealth Rock
- Fire Blast

Beatwagon the Infernape is the head of my TWEWY crew. He usually Fake Outs 99% of the time, preventing the opponet from attacking and breaking their sash. Then, usually, Stealth Rock is the next move, while they activate my Focus Sash. From there, I can have Beatwagon go for the kill, or switch him out. I can save him for later, with a Blaze activated Fire Blast, or a nicely timed Close Combat.

The Special Wall: Mr. Higgy
dpmba437.png

Bronzong @ Shuca Berry
Ability: Heatproof
EVs: 252 HP/8 Def/248 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball

Well, as I was in the car recently, I was thinking of Bronzong after seeing a thread about Heatproof(Which I knew about before the thread). The result of that thinking was this. Mr. Higgy is my Dragon/Fire Counter, being able to take a powerful hit on the special side. Shuca Berry is just in case someone figures out the trick. Also, Not many pokemon can easily 3HKO This beast without a boosted hit, thus Rest Talk is great. The Evs are not standard, because he is my main answer to special attackers.

The Physical Wall: Pteropus Canor
dpmba472.png

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP/40 Def/216 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Knock Off
- Roost
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Pteropus Canor, my Physical wall, has nice Synergy with Mr. Higgy. He switches into most Physical attacks aimed at Bronzong once the opponet knows that its special, and takes the hits like a pro. Standard Set.

The Supporter: Shiki
dpmba134.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Wish
- Surf
- Protect
- Hidden Power [Electric]/ Hidden Power [Rock]

This Vaporeon is my main support with Wish, which can be very helpful in a pinch(approximate rhyme not intended). The 68 Evs of Speed was moved to Special Attack because I felt no need for speed and wanted some power behind its attacks (110 Base Sp. Atk People!). So Wish and Protect is obvious, and HP Electric is for Gyarados, which Vaporeon can counter very well. I might switch it to Rock for SE damage on Gyarados and the Flying Dragons.

The Sweeper: The Grim Heaper
dpmba214.png

Heracross @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Guts
EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/4 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Megahorn
- Night Slash

As the only main sweeper, Heracross has his work cut out for him. With 383 Attack, and 403 Speed, He can rip holes right through teams. Close Combat and Megahorn for STAB, Night Slash for Azelf, Alakazam, and Ghosts, and Stone Edge for Pokemon like Zapdos and other Flying types.

And Last but not least, The Phazer/Other Physical Wall: Joshua
dpmba227.png

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP/64 Atk/176 Def/16 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Brave Bird
- Whirlwind
- Spikes
- Roost

The Sixth Position is filled by Joshua the Skarmory, and boy, does he work wonders. It can take multiple hits while not only revealing the opposing team with Whirlwind, but damaging all of the non-flyers with mulitpule layers of spikes. Skarmory on its own can really help support my team, which aside from Heracross and sometimes Infernape, can't do much damage to the opponet.
-----------------------------------

So, that is the current team I have been using. Like I previously said, I want this team to be more Offensive, but am not sure how. Most likely, Gliscor is the one I would like to replace, but I just don't know what could fill its gap. And yes, I know that I have 4 walls, but I want to know which wall is the weakest link. So thank you for reading this, and thank you in advance for any and all comments and tips!

Bronzong: Levitate > Heatproof. Your giving up an immunite for slightly less damage and that will only work once. You are also hindering its walling capabilites with Shuca since Zong relies on Lefties for its only reliable recovery. And whats with the EVs? Should look like: 252 HP / 62 Atk / 104 Def / 92 SpD

Gliscor: I would recommend Taunt > Knock Off. Looking at this team it doesn't really have answer to stall, so having Taunt would work for you, in a way, against it.

And one of the reason this team is having problems with offense is because it wants to be stall. I mean, 4/6 of your pokes are defensive and run defensive sets. You might as well change it into stall...

If you go that route, then I suggest Forretress > Bronzong. Looking something like this:

205.png

Forrestress @ Shed Shell | Relaxed
252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def (0 Speed IV)
Toxic Spikes / Explosion / Payback / Gyro Ball or Rapid Spin

You are already laying down Rocks with Infernape and Spikes with Skarmory, go for the trifecta with Toxic Spikes. If you add Forry then you are showing no real stop to electric moves. So you could change Vaporeon, who honestly doesn't do too much for this team, to a nice Swampert. Covering your electric weak, and still keeping a bulky water type. Perhaps a Cursepert:

260.png

Swampert @ Leftovers | Careful
252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
Avalanche / Curse / Earthquake / Rest or Waterfall

To bolster your defense some more, this is going over Heracross, you could add a Celebi. Which allows your team to have atleast 1 resist for the entire type chart:

251.png

Celebi @ Leftovers | Bold
252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Reflect / Thunder Wave / Grass Knot / Recover

Pretty standard support Celebi, also helps with your new Tyranitar weakness.

Now all those suggestions were based on you going a defensive route with this team. Its entirely up to you, but the way your team looked it like it was yearnin' for some stall.

That Heracross isn't a sweeper. Unless you're playing against someone who is either bad or new they'll bring in something resistant to your last move once they note the lack of LO/Leftovers, forcing you out. A sweeper should at least have the ability to kill at least 2-3 things under reasonable circumstances.

give herra a jolly nature to be able to outrun most scarftran so you can KO with CC as if heatran has HP ice then you have a problem in dealing with him as he can deal massave damage to all your pokes if he has BoomBoom he can deam with vap too

@Virtuoso- The reason why my Bronzong has a non-standard EV spread is because I want it to be a Special wall, not mixed. Its mainly for stopping Latias and other Special Sweepers. Also, because most Bronzongs are Leviatate, very rarely do people Earthquake it, and won't until they hit it with a fire move. Bronzong wants the Shuca berry because it doesn't need Leftovers, seeing how it has rest and can receive Wish Support from Vaporeon. Finally, I don't want a stall team, I just want a more offensive team.
@Veles-The whole point of this Heracross is to Kill somthing, switch to the approprate wall to take a hit, and then pound them again with a powerful hit, not Sweep everything in sight.
@Darkvirus-what? the problem with that logic is that if a Scarfed Heatran did use "BoomBoom", then he would be gone. Also Bronzong can take a hit, and Earthquake him back, due to his high Special Defense.
