RMT w/out dragons, skarmbliss, or gyarados!

I've recently been battling with this team on Shoddy. When I win with this team, I win with sometimes three or four pokemon left, but when I lose, I lose bad. So please RATE MY TEAM! and if you don't think anything needs to be changed, i'd like to hear it!

Poygon2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Trace
Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
240 HP / 164 Def / 12 SpA / 92 SpD

-Ice Beam
-Discharge
-Magic Coat
-Recover

The team's Tracer. Bulky Porygon2 has always interested me and it works pretty well. Ice Beam and Discharge for sort of a Boltbeam combo. Discharge over Thunderbolt for the paralysis. Magic Coat to bounce back Bronzong's or Gengar's Hypnosis on the first turn.

Infernape @ Expert Belt
Ability: Blaze
Jolly (+Spe, -SpA)
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe

-Swords Dance
-Flare Blitz
-Close Combat
-ThunderPunch

My physical sweeper. Swords Dance on something that will switch out, and sweep away. Flare Blitz and Close Combat obviously for STAB. I chose ThunderPunch over Stone Edge becuase I didn't like the idea of Stone Edge's 80% accuracy. Also, ThunderPunch also hits waters.

Salamence @ Choice Specs
Ability: Intimidate
Modest (+SpA, -Atk)
4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe

-Draco Meteor
-Dragon Pulse
-Flamethrower
-Hydro Pump

My special sweeper. A standard SpecsMence. Self-explanitory right?

Tangrowth @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
Impish (+Def, -SpA)
252 HP / 228 Def / 28 Spe

-Knock Off
-Power Whip
-Leech Seed
-Sleep Powder

My physical wall. Knock Off is surprisingly helpful. It often lets me know what kind of moveset my opponent is using. Leech Seed to regain health and phaze to an extent. Sleep Powder for well... sleep.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Calm (+SpD, -Atk)
252 HP / 252 SpD / 4 Spe

-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot
-Stealth Rock

My special wall. Wow. THis thing takes hits like a champ. Empoleon makes a good special tank becuase of all its resistances. I think in total there's 11. And it resists Toxic Spikes. Empoleon is a tank who can attack too. Surf for STAB, Ice Beam for dragons, grasses, and flyers, and grass knot for those bulky waters.

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
Adamant (+Atk, -SpA)
232 HP / 252 Atk / 24 Def

-Swords Dance
-Quick Attack
-X-Scissor/Brick Break
-Roost

The late game sweeper and revenge killer. I LOVE this Scizor. Quick Attack is great. I like X-Scissor for STAB and because it hits most things neutrally. Swords Dance and Roost when there's time

You will have a hard time with Heracross. You will have a hard time with other Physical pokemon too, such as Lucario. You have no fighting resistance, and this put you in great danger of getting swept by Fighting pokemon. Salamence is the only thing, but fears Stone Edge. Physcial Wall like Gliscor is a solid counter to this. It counters Lucario, Tyranitar (DD and CB) and Heracross. Tangrowth should be replaced for Gliscor, it's the only thing that I can think of since Tangrowth is your physical wall, which can't do a better job than Gliscor.

With another weakness to Ice, comes the LO Mamo weak. This team very weak to it. Cresselia, Skarmory, and Bronzong fix this problem, either one can do the job, but Cresselia and Bronzong are the main ones, since alot of Mamosines tend to carry Blizzard. Bronzong is a handy pokemon, setting up Stealth Rocks and having some good resistances, Ice and Ground are 2 of them. Cresselia can take on Mamoswine pretty good, just make sure you go Sleep Talk. You could run her Rest Sleep Talk to be your status absorber, since you lack of one.

Salamence can work as your lead, Choice Specs still hits hard. tbh, I would just but a CB on Infernape. You already have Scizor as a Sword Dancer, which is ok, but 2 requires alot of set-up. It's better off with a Choice Band, with U-Turn to scout pokemon, and you can run the rest Physical attacks as well.

Well, the team is definitely made out to be a "cookie-cutter" type team--a few sweepers, a physical wall, a special wall, a late-game sweeper. As it stands now, your team is pretty hopeless against Infernape in general, as many carry HP Ice nowadays. I would recommend replacing one of your walls with a mixed one (say, Bronzong or Cresslia) in order to open up a slot on the team for w/e. Cresslia takes infernape, but I would probably go with Bronzong over Empoleon for stealth rocks and perhaps sleep. This would open up a spot to replace Tangrowth, which would allow you to place a strong 'nape counter like Starmie or Vaporeon.

Also, I think the SDnape that you have covers the late-game sweeper slot rather well, and so I really don't see the need for scizor, who merely adds another where it isn't needed. I would suggest some speed in this slot, maybe an Azelf or other scarf poke you think would fit.
