RMT

I've been doing pretty good on PS with this team, and (excuse the rage) IF I EVER GET POKEBANK!!!!!, will be using in Y competitively(and will be promptly putting Mega-Blaziken back in his rightful place) any tweaks/CONSTRUCTIVE criticism(don't hate on my team or say I'm cheap) is greatly appreciated.

Aron (M) @ Shell Bell
Ability: Sturdy
Level: 1
Shiny: Yes
- Endeavor
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Protect

Aron is usually my lead, I frequently stop hazard setters dead in their tracks with him. He's running the typical FEAR set(what other reason could you possibly have for using a level 1?)Sometimes shell bell doesn't fully heal Aron, sometimes it does. About 25% of the time it will fully heal him twice, then after that only heal 17%, which really annoys me but hey, I just killed 2 pokemon with a level 1! I can (generally) KO 1-2 pokemon, if my opponent doesn't forfeit for whatever reason. Auto-Switchout if I run into a ghost, usually switch into Regi, if I do. If not, after Aron eventually dies, switch in Scolipede.

Scolipede @ Leftovers
Ability: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Protect
- Substitute
- Iron Defense
- Baton Pass

Scolipede got a major buff(I doubt I have to explain) in this gen, and I opted for him as my Ninjask replacement. Occasionally to switch things up I lead with him, regardless the strategy with him is Protect/Sub until an opportune moment to switch into one of the next 3 'mons, with the occasional Iron Defense if the opponent doesn't break sub, or I predict a boost/switch. I generally try to get at least 3-4x speed boost before switching, but if this becomes too predictable, since I've started running into people who will Roar/D Tail/other similar moves, me out, I occasionally BP after the first or second turn. It should be noted that he has a ridiculous longevity, I've had battles where he's BP'ed to every 'mon on my team besides Aron.

Charizard-Mega-Y (M) @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Solar Beam
- Dragon Pulse
- Roar

Since for whatever reason you guys at Smogon hate my favorite starter Blaziken, and his new found awesomeness in Mega-Blaziken, I had to sub him out for a down-graded(yet still pretty cool) replacement. I opted for coverage, and speed with this set, Solar beam allows me to laugh mercilessly as people send out water types to check/counter him, Dragon pulse is for *Obviously* Dragons, and Roar is to phaze out boosters/potential threats. He usually is packing a 3-4x speed boost, with the occasional defense boost or two. I can usually sweep whole teams with him, if not, once he faints/I send in either Regi/Rhyp to keep his sweeping potential alive, I'll send back in Scoli ASAP, and either boost and switch into one of them, or back into another CharY sweep.

Regigigas @ Leftovers
Ability: Slow Start
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Substitute
- Heavy Slam
- Power-Up Punch

I don't think I've ran into another Regi while playing pokemon my entire life, outside of the stint he had in 4th gen until people realized with his abysmal speed and terrible ability, all he was was a cool pokemon to look at with decent bulk. I am here to bring back the Carrier of Continents! with a Scoli boost/pass with maybe a few Iron Defenses, this guy goes from being Death Star, to being....well a Death Star Ducktaped to the Roadrunner. Ok the joke was bad, but you get the point. He goes from being useless to being a terrifying team killer that I sh*t you not, has not failed to kill the remainder of any team that gets in his way after the above boosts. Basically he gets BP'ed in, spams subs(which may or may not take multiple hits to break, and if they do, Power-Up Punch to make him even more ungodly, or if the other 'mon is immune use heavy slam/knock-off) and after 5 short turns(keep in mind Leftovers and the possibility of multi turn lasting subs allowing for more regen), He is more powerful than Lord Arceus could even dream of being.

Rhyperior @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Adamant Nature
IVs: 30 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SDef
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
- Dragon Tail

Rhyperior has a similar problem as Regi, albeit he has an awesome ability in Solid Rock, and I use him nearly the same way as Regi, it all depends on the way the battle is going, whether or not I choose him or Regi, and if Regi somehow(Arceus striking him down for my above comment) gets KO'ed. I'm not totally sold on Rhy, he is kinda lacking in the Movepool, but he does deal nicely with flying/fighting/ground types which is good. I pop off stealth rock when I can, which boosts the chance of a OHKO. He is walled by water types which I don't like, which is a main reason why I'm reconsidering him.Dragon Tail kinda fixes that if he can hit first, but it only delays the inevitable, but it also screws with enemy strategy which is good.

Gengar @ Enigma Berry
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Protect
- Night Shade
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunderbolt

Gengar is one of my favorite non Legend 'mons and has awesome stats to boot. As cool as his mega(especially shiny)looks, Levitate is dearly missed, as with levitate, I can reliably BP into either him or Zard when someone is spamming Earthquakes(which happens all the frickin time) without fear of being OHKO'ed. I should point out that he doesn't really need a boost(like ZardY likes to have) to sweep, its just handy to outspeed the whole tier, and potentially have boosted Def. I originally was running a Modest Gengar but when pitted against other Gengars, was losing the speed battle, and getting OHKO'ed. My Gengar is special in the fact that for most Gengars I've ran into, their Ghost STAB was Shadow Ball, which if I'm correct does 20 less damage than Night Shade, and really the spdef drop chance is too low to warrant running a weaker move. Dazzling Gleam(as adamantly as I hate all fairies) KO's Dark types, and the ever present dragon, utterly making mincemeat out of one of the coolest pokemon to come out of the Unova region, Hydreigon. Thunderbolt is for water/flying types, and Protect is just kinda there....

Well there you have it, my current team. Let me know what you think I should add/take away to make it better. Again, don't tell me about how FEAR Aron is cheap, or about how you hate BP Scoli.

Hey there! I haven't been playing OU in a while because of the recent wifi tournament on the ds so please feel free to remind me that I'm not playing doubles anymore! Anyways first glance at your team looks pretty solid. A couple of suggestions though.
1. Protect/ enigma berry/ night shade Gengar? (As stated by The Avalanches). Ok so I can kind of see why you run Enigma berry but Night Shade and Protect? First off I would change Substitute > Protect. Protect is only really necessary on Gengar in VGC and doubles and the only reason you would run protect in singles is for wish or toxic stall (which your gengar does neither). Substitute will also bring the pressure off Scolipede to set up. Secondly change Shadow Ball > Night Shade.
I originally was running a Modest Gengar but when pitted against other Gengars, was losing the speed battle, and getting OHKO'ed.
But you have now changed your Gengar to Timid so it's just the chance that you win the speed tie and also you can just boost your Gengar's speed with Scolipede anyways.
My Gengar is special in the fact that for most Gengars I've ran into, their Ghost STAB was Shadow Ball, which if I'm correct does 20 less damage than Night Shade, and really the spdef drop chance is too low to warrant running a weaker move.
Night Shade only does 50 damage to the opponents pokemon. In fact 252 SpA Gengar Shadow Ball vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Gengar: 332-392 (126.7 - 149.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO.
2. If you run a pokemon quadruple weak to rock then you need a rapid spinner/ defogger. If Charizard switches in to stealth rock then it can usually be KO'd on the spot by any priority abuser (I'm looking at you Talonflame) then all those speed boosts Scolipede gave Charizard would be all for nothing. I don't want to recommend Excadrill (even though it is a good partner to Charizard) because then your team would be weak to fire type pokemon (if it wasn't already). I also don't want to recommend Tentacruel because your team is already weak to psychic. I think the best rapid spinner to use in your situation would be starmie but I don't know who you would want to part with.
3. As meantioned above you have a little psychic weakness (scolipede and gengar are weak to psychic and Charizard, Regigigas and Rhypherior are neutral. Aron is a suicide lead).
Overall great team! I love the use of Aron and think baby pokemon should be used more often. I hope I helped!

F.E.A.R Aron is a really unreliable strategy even with sandstorm:how is it even supposed to work without it?Regigigas is just plain awful in OU.Enigma berry on Gengar and night shade??What the actual flying f*ck is that?
