Hey guys! This is my first RMT here, so please e gentle xD I'm trying to climb the OU ladder with this team and plan to use it in local tournaments. Ty in advance for your time and sry my bad english.
Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Atk
Jolly Nature
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
First up is Tyranitar my 2nd Gen Pokemon. I run Assault Vest over Scarf on him so I can switch him in to act as a wall enduring some hits and after that he can be a treat with a mix of good offensive and defensive stats. Stone Edge hits hard as a Stab so as Crunch , pursuit for forced switches and EQ for coverage.
Excadrill @ Air Baloon
Trait: Mold breaker
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant
- Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
My 5th Gen team lead, I use him as a lead since hes immune to toxic and can clear the field early. Rapid Spin removes all hazards on my side of the field. Earthquake hits extremely hard, and is capable of hitting Levitate users. Iron Head for coverage move and is extremely effective against Fairy-types. Rock Slide grants coverage against specific Pokemon immune to Ground-type moves.
Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Poison Jab/ Fire Blast / Protect
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
Next up is my 4th Gen Phys mid/late game sweeper Chomp set. Dragon Claw and EQ act as my main STAB. Stone Edge for Flying Types and good coverage with EQ. My doubt here is having Poison Jab for the new dragon wreckers Fairys or Fire Blast for Steel and Ice types that switches in OR having Protect to scout.
Charizard @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Satk / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Fire Blast
- Solar Beam
- Focus Blast
- Dragon Pulse
1st Gen Poke and my fav Pokemon. My crown jewel. Typical Charyzard Y special sweeper and wall breaker not much to say about him. Only major problem is forced switch with SR up. With the Sun up water damage is reduced and Fire Blast does major damage even when resited. Solarbeam 1turn for Water Ground treats usually 1HKO or 2HKO. Focus Blast for Rock/Normal Types that are a big treat but usually slow. Dragon Pulse for coverage against dragons such as Garchomp or M-Charizard X.
Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 ATK / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Hammer Harm
- Bullet punch
3rd Gen Poke and another bulky Pokemon that hits hard. I can with him in against Fairy types or as Revenge Killer. Meter Mash to spam and main STAB. Earthquake helps to deal with Steel- and Fire-types that resist Metagross's STAB moves. Bullet Punch helps Metagross revenge kill weakened enemies. Hammer Harm is for coverage against Dark Types and another Steel types.
Tyrantrum @ Life Orb
Trait: Strong Jaw
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Ice Fang
- Fire Fang
- Thunder fang
When Aegislash got tier change I had to filled the hole with my fav Kalos Pokemon a T REX. Until Rock Head ability inst released for him I use the normal Elemental Fang build, not much to say about him, feel free to advise some other moves for him. After a DD if he inst 1HKO he can outrun many Pokes and do major damage and even sweep weakened teams.
Closing comments:
As you can see I use one Poke from each Gen, you may find it a bit strange but I like it that way. As for the Team. My team is very offensive and clearly have problems with Water and Fairy Pokemon's :S . I'm willing to change my Kalos Poke so feel free to advise me a Pokemon that can fill my gaps. Well thanks for reading it hope to hear some comments on how to improve this team.
