Hi guys i was making myself a competitive team and was wondering if u wouldnt mind rating it if you had the time and giving some tips.

Dragonite @ Persim Berry
Ability: Multiscale obvious reasons
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 46 Atk / 190 SpD / 24 Spe
Careful Nature
- Outrage main STAB
- Dragon Dance set-up
- Fire Punch ice-type cvrg
- Thunder Punch water type cvrg

I chose dragonite because he is pretty much the strongest dragon type with a allround movepool in ou. Dragonite`s job is to be able to tank a few attacks and be able to deliver good dmg to whatever opponent there is so either he gets the kill or someone else revenge kills.

Pinsir-Mega @ Pinsirite
Ability: Aerilate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Quick Attack stab with aerilate, lets you move first
- Return stab with aerilate, 188 dmg vs bug+fire
- Close Combat steel type cvrg
- Swords Dance set-up

I chose mega pinsir as he has high attack and speed and is a bug flying type and with the mega evolution he counters most of his fears. Mega-pinsir is an OP revenge killer with the ability to 2HKO pretty much anything after swords dance and mostly before.

Lilligant @ Life Orb
Ability: Own Tempo incase of confusion
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance OP set-up
- Substitute snorlax yawn combo op
- Giga Drain main dmg output, STAB
- Hidden Power [Fire] cvrg for grass+steel

Although lilligant is nu i still decided to take it due to its high special attack and non of its stats being under 70 making it able to tank a STAB flamethrower from almost anything and its access to quiver dance.Lilligant is very important as its pretty much got the best set-up move quiver dance and can hit really hard with a giga drain life orbed. Substitute lets her set up quiver dance and is surprisingly good

Excadrill @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Def
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head fairy type cvrg, STAB flinch plays
- Earthquake STAB
- Stealth Rock set- up against focus sashers
- Rapid Spin get rid of layers of whatever for pinsir and dragonite

I chose as h can set-up well and is my only counter to fairy-types and has 10 resistances which makes him a great wall Excadrill can take any hit really and can set up rocks while covering fairy types for dragonite and clearing stealth rocks. Its also the physical wall.

Lapras @ Assault Vest
Ability: Water Absorb
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump main STAB
- Freeze-Dry vs ludicolo hits water types unexpectedly hard
- Toxic stalling with snorlax (yes i know its weird)
- Thunderbolt water flying steel cvrg

I chose lapras because he had access to freeze dry and i needed a tanky water type pokemon. Lapras is my first special wall and hits extremely surprisingly hard (in both ways) due to Freeze-Dry and its stab hydro pump.

Snorlax @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Rest max health
- Sleep Talk obvious
- Yawn perfect for set-ups
- Giga-Impactmain STAB huge dmg

Chossing snorlqx was very easy as he is a great special wall that can take care of alot of pokemon due to giga impact. Snorlax is a OP uu wall and can make anyone switch out due to yawn and lets lilligant, pinsir, or dragonite set up a ddance or quiver dance while dealing massive dmg with retaliate.

Thx for reading :P and i thank ypu in advance for the tips.

There are a few things I'm really concerned about with your team. For starters, I really can't make out a real reason why you're using mons like Lilligant, Snorlax, and Lapras all really don't have any real place in OU, and their movesets aren't that much better. I don't really understand why Snorlax's only attacking move is Giga Impact, when it would much prefer to be able to set up, or even hit Steel types. Additionally, a lot of the things you prepare for really aren't at all seen in OU, Ludicolo is rarely seen unless under rain, and I'm pretty sure that Electric types aren't a truly reliable way to deal with Steel types. Your items also really don't seem to make that much sense since a Sitrus Berry on a Sleep Talk Snorlax doesn't make much sense, it would much prefer Leftovers.

What are Dragonite's EVs for? Clearly they aren't a standard spread, but you don't give any real explanation for why you you're using that spread. Additionally, Dragonite would much rather have Extreme Speed over Thunder Punch because Thunder Punch's Base Power doesn't hit hard enough to deal with most bulky waters and you desperately need priority. Also, Dragonite doesn't really want a Persim berry, it would prefer a Lum berry. I really hop you could offer some explanation for your choices on this set a bit more.

Next, Mega Pinsir feels really slapped on, and I don't really see any of the synergy it has with other members of the team. As a personal preference, I usually prefer running Earthquake over Close Combat since it doesn't cause a defense drop. Though is this supposed to be your win condition? Again, I don't really understand how this really works well with the rest of your team.

I don't know who told you that Lilligant in OU was a good idea, because it really isn't. There are so many other better Special sweepers in OU that do what Lillignt does, but better. You're basically using Lilligant as a weaker Venusaur with Sub. You've said it yourself, Lilligant isn't bulky, and it won't be able to make much use of the Substitute it has because it can't really take that many hits. Plus, If you're looking for a Quiver Dancer, try Volcarona since it gets roughtly

Sand Rush Excadrill outside of sand is a bit of a risk since it's really only useful for countering sand, I guess? I think you'd rather Mold Breaker on this Excadrill. Excadrill, however, is NOT a wall. There are so many better bulky steel types than Excadrill, and no, Excadrill cannot take ANY hit. It has a basw defense of 60 nd that means its not going to be a good physical wall. Consider Ferrothorn, Heatran, or even Scizor as they would be MUCH better options for a physical wall than Excadrill. Also, YOu've got 4 Def / 252 Def which I don't think can happen.

Lapras as your bulky water type is also a kinda a bad choice since there are so many better bulky water types that do what Lapras does but better. Rotom-W is a good example as, although it doesn't get Freeze-Dry can handle grew a few things that you'd be using laras for. Additionally, Lapras is running Toxic with an Assualt Vest, so you're wasting a moveslot. And again, Ludicolo isn't all that common in OU, so I odn't know why you're exactly worried about that.

I'd say try to look at the threatlists for OU, and the viability rankings in the OU subforum to get a better idea of how this meta works, and maybe test out the team a bit for yourself to find what you're using the most and what you're not really using and work from there. Good Luck!

Hi there, welcome to Smogon! Unfortunately I'll have to lock this as your descriptions are lacking and not up to the standard required by the RMT rules. You need to provide in-depth descriptions for each Pokemon to explain your choices and their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at other RMTs and the RMT archive to see the kind of detail and format we require.

It's clear that you're new to this seeing as a lot of your movesets are not competitively viable, so I'd also recommend gaining more competitive battling experience and lurking around the forums before posting a thread here. The Intro Hub is a great place to start, and you can check out the OU forum for resources to help you get a better grasp of the tier. Good luck!
