HP grass is there as an option (i have used it in the past) because of swamperts, but i see no reason for it to be there with this team, venusaur can handle swampert just fine while my old team had no grass attacks. The speed is enough to outspeed most scarfed pokes, if people think this speed should be changed let me know.

I was thinking about getting one with crunch if its possible to have both crunch and flare blitz, but haven't yet. this can take fire hits and get a boost from it if i can switch it in on a fire attack against skarm/venuaur.

sludge bomb to stop celebi, HP fire is just there because i was trying to breed an ice one but this came up first, not sure if fire or ice is better. EQ can 2HKO heatran. leaf storm is for STAB.


The last slot is a decision between these 2 haven't decided yet, others that have been suggested are listed below.

this would allow me a switch in to avoid fighting/normal type moves, although my team has no weaknesses to either so its only purpose would be an anti spinner if i set up SR with skarm or burning.

it adds 1 more weakness to my team than dusknoir. although it could do more damage on the special side and move my team away from physical a little. its also a decent wall. I need an ice attack somewhere to take down dragons also.


others that have been suggested for 6th slot:
Deoxys-E -
advantages-would handle the gengar problem if i ran shadow ball. covers a fighting type move if i use super power, which my team previously did not have, and blissey and snorlax could wall me.
disadvantages-i wanted a wall, but this is still being considered

Starmie-
Advantages- spinner, adds boltbeam to my team.
disadvantages-another thunder weakness and i wanted a wall.

claydol-
advantages-spinner, can set up SR and allow skarm to use spikes instead, can explode
disadvantages: adds another ice weakness.
 
personally for the 6th slot i would go with ludicolo, just because in my experience i deal with alot more garchomps, and other dragons which would need an ice beam or other ice attack.
i hardly have the need for a spinner because most teams i face are generally offense oriented so i wouldnt really go with dusknoir
 
Hmmm, pretty good coverage. and great choices of Types.

4.5/5 but may I suggest a spinner? Cloyster or Claydol for UU and Foretress for OU
