Deoxys-e @ Light Clay
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock

Recently I've been on a Deoxys-S craze and using it on just about all the teams I've come up with and I believe this to be one of the better sets for it. With this and max IVs in speed it will outrun all +speed nature 130 base speed pokemon. With proper prediction I can taunt, reflect or set up light screen accordingly. Generally most leads are physically oriented thus the Def Evs allow it to set up and then switch out into the proper counter. By all means I want it to stay around for as long as possible. Also other Deoxys-S are easily predicted to use either taunt or switch themselves which I'll switch to counter it.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge

Tyranitar with Choice Scarf has caught a number of pokemon off guard and is the perfect revenge killer because of pursuit. With Jolly nature I can outspeed pokemon like azelf, gengar and Starmie. Also it is good at KOing the rotom forms and any pokemon that might carry trick as that would force a switch and thus STABed Pursuit.

rotomheat.png

Rotom-h @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Hp /164 Def /88 Spe
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Will-o-wisp
- Overheat
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt/ Discharge

With 3 immunities and decent type coverage rotom-h can come into a few pokemon and counter them causing a switch which Will-o-wisp can hit the switch in. Although sadly that means a chance for heatran to come in. Now as I have not used Rotom-h before I am unsure of a decent EV spread, but so far this one has worked well. Thunderbolt for power discharge for possibility to para., I'm thinking of going with Discharge as the extra power doesn't really make much of a difference. Thought of changing to zapdos.

scizor.png

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- X-Scissors
- Swords Dance
- Roost

Every team needs some sweeper and this serves as my teams physical sweeper (So obvious why do I even say that?). Scizor is a pain to decide a moveset for because quick attack can cover pokemon that bullet punch varients can't hit while X-Scissors vs BrickBreak/Superpower both have there merits. In the end bullet punch and X-Scissors are the best options for this team. Bullet Punch for prioty and STAB. X-Scissors for stab as well.

togekiss.png

Togekiss (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 152 SpA/252 Hp/104 Spe
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Roost

My team needed some kind of Special Attacks with decent power and Togekiss is one of the better ones for people that don't want to go with Haxmin. Nasty Plot to improve special attack power and either Hax them to death with Air Slash or use the power of Aura to kill them. But seriously I have considered Skymin over Togekiss, but can not really decide. I think both could work extremely well. I am leaning towards Skymin after the all the blissey problems I face.

metagross.png

Metagross @ Occa Berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 208 HP/76 Atk/224 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Bullet Punch
- Ice Punch

The other surprise to my team. This set is often a surprise to a lot of pokemon, but often only works once. Can take take on salamence, Heatran, infernape and a few others that would normally KO Metagross. Stealth rock for what would be switches and much needed to any team espcially with the Gyarados problem I have.

Potential Problems: Gyarados is the biggest one here. Once rotom is done for I have no effective counter for it.

Sadly enough depending on the set, Blissey can cause my team no end of troubles. Rotom-h lacks the special attacks to take on Blissey. Metagross too lacks the physical power to 2HKO blissey. Most Deoxys-s can do is taunt it. Tyranitar gets stalled by blissey. Scizor and Togekiss are my only options and depending on the varient can flame scizor and Togekiss often walks off the worse with status and little HP left or KOed all together. For this reason I've considered making Scizor either a choice band varient or changing Togekiss out with Skymin.

heracross seems to be a bit of a problem, taking deoxys out if its still alive, and tyranitar too with STAB fighting attacks. with prediction, it can come in on a willowisp from rotom, and proceed to slowly take out your team. banded versions are your problem, as it can even take out togekiss easily with stone edge. switching rotom to zapdos easily remedies this problem. a physically defensive zapdos will help, with toxic to rack up damage on blissey too. hope i helped.

X-Scizor > Superpower.

Superpower is counter productive with SD. It has it's usefulness but I think X-Scizor is better. It's your best bet against Celebi and Cresselia(Pursuit on Tar is not that threatening without a Choice Band) and KO's Bliss after a SD. It also gets STAB.

With no boosting item(choice band, Life orb) and no Meteor Mash it's no surprise Metagross does not hit as hard as you want him to.

I think you have a ScarfTran weakness as well and Zapdos could be threatening without TTar.

I recommend you give Vaporeon a try. It's one of the best Gyarados counters(as long as it has HP electric) you can find and deals with Heatran as well. It wont fix the issue with Zapdos though.

Choice Scarf TTar won't have much to do because Skymin and base 130s are the ones who people tend to EV to outrun.

You lack a status absorber/cleric and with many Rotoms running wisp that's going to give this team a lot of trouble.

Ttar seems to not really help the synergy of this team because I think the sandstream is going to hurt your team as much as any typical OU team these days. Might want to replace it with soemthing that can take status or be a cleric.

If you want something to do better than Togekiss I'd suggest Zapdos. Roar Zapdos has always been a favorite choice of mine since RSE and its seeing more use in D/P.

Deoxys-e @ Light Clay
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Taunt
- Recover

Recently I've been on a Deoxys-S craze and using it on just about all the teams I've come up with and I believe this to be one of the better sets for it. With this and max IVs in speed it will outrun all +speed nature 130 base speed pokemon. With proper prediction I can taunt, reflect or set up light screen accordingly. Uh, copy my Poll idea much?

Recover is not needed. Replace it with Stealth Rock, and take it off on Metagross. A leading Stealth Rock will give you the advantage.

if your having Gyarados problems, you can replace Togekiss with a Scarf Gengar with Trick and Thunderbolt, because Gengar is also as good as a Special Attacker as they come and can outspeed Gyarados after a DD

Rinsting: I just needed a poll to help me decide which is normally better on scizor, the reasoning is pretty even in my opinion for all of them. Actually recover helps very much on deoxys-s, so it can return multiple times. But, yeah, I'll be adding stealth rock on it.

I've noticed that all the problems you guys have mentioned requires not a simple pokemon change over one or 2, but enough to basically the whole team to cover all the problems I have and keep the areas I have covered in tacked. Anyone have a simple solution to all the forementioned problems, but doesn't change practically all the pokemon on my team. Cause if I have to change like 4-5 pokemon on this team I may as well start over with a different team than.

If you remove Tyranitar then you're gonna have major Zapdos issues.

It's also the only pokemon that can switch into Heatran's Fire Blast and scare it away.

I really think you should replace Togekiss with either Vaporeon or Porygon2. Both of them are excellent Gyarados counters and can switch into Heatran without any fear.

I'm leaning towards Porygon2 since it's not weak to thunderbolt. You could run a scarf set with Discharge/Ice Beam/Recover/Trick. Tricking a scarf to Blissey will make the pink fat blob useless.
