A new team of mine, this was my first dip into shoddy in several months. It has so far worked very well, and does have some large weaknesses on paper, but so far I haven't seen a team that could abuse them to the max...

Porygon2 @ Leftovers
Ability: Download
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Gravity
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Recover
Porygon2 has been working very well in the lead. Since Alakazam was my most random team member, I decided to play him around bit, and so far P2 works wonders. It sneakily sets up gravity or paralyzes the opposition. It also has the advantage of not being dead weight: with Recover and Thunder Wave he is surprisingly good supporter later. He also forms part of the basher trio: Drapion Taunts something mostly harmless, Porygon comes in and Paralyzes in, recovers and sets up gravity. As taunt wears off, Rhyperior comes in and bashes with Earthquakes. The combo is very resilient because all teh members have enough bulk to switch in.
Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 248 HP/252 Def/8 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Recover
Very simple Bulky water, doing wonders for me. As I say, it crings me to use it. Poliwrath is still out of question, because after Rhyperior would be killed, he could rampant through my team. Hidden power grass is against other bulky waters, which are way more common than any dangerous stat-uppers. Most are anyway killed by Rhyperior (defense) or Toxicroak (Bellyzard and the like). Goes very well along the others.
Rhyperior (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 88 HP/252 Atk/168 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Megahorn
- Stone Edge
- Rock Blast
CB Rhyperior is integral part of the team. It is enormously powerful creating holes with Stone Edge. One SE will do about 70% to standard Milotic, and will do over 50% to nearly anything not resisting. It also serves as a fantastic physical wall, shrugging off even earthquakes. Rock Blast has been absolutely useless, since most often spamming Stone Edge is enough. Sometimes earthquake too, but only if I know the opposing team having no fliers. Very great.
Venusaur (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Leaf Storm
- Sleep Powder
- Synthesis
Standard LOSaur is very deadly force indeed. It is the special counterpart of CBRhyperior, dishing out equal damage with Leaf Storm. Sludge Bomb is very good against grasses and anythin else, and Synthesis serves as an excelent healing move. Sleep Powder has seen very modest amount of use, mostly against Registeels trying to SR me. It works very well, and I see no reason to not use it.
I previously used Subseed which failed horribly. Having no grass move is very big bummer.
Toxicroak (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Stone Edge
- Cross Chop
Toxicroak is probably the biggest positive surprise I've seen in a long time. It is surprisingly easy to get in. Mostly it comes to light water attacks, but revenging is also an option. SD is used only when I'm against completely unthreatening pokemon: preferably sleeping, or a bulky Milotic. Sucker Punch works wonderfully, since most often people tend to ignor the possibility of it (or not ignore, but not pay attention). I'm using Jolly because Toxicroak has immense force after SD, whether Adamant or not, but speed is constant, meaning the need to max it.
Drapion (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 HP/12 Atk/244 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Crunch
- Rest
- Taunt
My secret weapon: Drapion is surprisingly effective tool to stop physics. It is modified from the Sleep Talker, since Sleep Talk really never was any good. Taunt instead lets me fight Chanseys much more efficiently. Crunch and EQ make for a good enough coverage. Drapion doesn't do really much damage, but it is very effective at slowly stalling the enemy away. It adds a ground weakness which is shame, but I have seen very little use of EQ in my recent UU matches. Good all-purpose switch-in.

[Under is the construction of the original team]
Anyway, I started this team with an idea of CB Rhyperior in mind. It would serve as a giant plow to punch grand holes in the opposing team. I also decided to use Venusaur because of his splendid bulk.
Then I decided to add a bulky water to the team, to get some protections from bulky waters firing Ice beams and Surfs around. Slowbro was the choice: I made a concious attempt to avoid Milotic.
FWG core then seemed no good for me, since there aren't any bulky firetypes in UU. There aren't any that aren't weak to stealth rock (Blaziken, yes, but it is pretty meh talking from experience) (Monferno too, but that's extra meh). That out of mind, I settled for Swellow to add a ground recipient.
For lead I chose Alakazam: It seemed to fare well against the common leads. I thought of Pinsir too, but then I would have two flying weaknesses already!
For the finisher, I chose Drapion to give me a decent staller.
Swellow was utterly complete failure, and couldn't do anything. Instead, I chose Toxicroak instead. That raised my number of Ground weaknesses to three (well, two because Rhyperior doesn't give a pastry from an earthquake).
Slowbro was constantly beaten up by Milotic. For this reason, I did the most unpleasant thing. I switched to Milotic.
And my team was complete! Later I made Venusaur a LO sweeper instead of a Subseeder, and replaced Sleep Talk from Drapion to taunt.
