Roserade: The underrated assassin

Ok this is a team I have been planning for awhile. I'm gonna use it once the next version comes out but I'm gonna try it out in Diamond first. I just wanted to get some opinions on it before I started battling with it.

Roserade-focus sash
Timid
EV spread 252 speed/252 special attack/6 hp
Grass Knot
Sleep Powder
Hidden Power Fire
Toxic Spikes

I've always wanted to try a roserade out. This set is designed to take advantage of toxic spikes. My plan is to get off a quick sleep powder then set up toxic spikes. Grass knot for those bulky waters and Hidden Power Fire for the likes of Bronzong and Metegross and any other steel for that matter.

Suicune-leftovers
Bold
EV spread 252 hp/252 defense/6 special attack
Surf
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Rest

One of my favorite pokemon. He's here because he resists Roserade's main weaknesses in fire and ice. Basically the basic calm mind set with rest as a healing option.

Porygon2-leftovers
Bold
228 hp/144 special attack/136 defense
Ice Beam
Discharge
Recover
Tri Attack

Now I realize that tauntrados can screw Roserade over since he has no attacking attacks. That's where Porygon2 comes in. I switch in and hit gyrados with intimidate. Trace also has other benefits such as tracing garchomp's sand veil which can provide some hax so i can KO him with ice beam. Recover is of course for recovery.

Alakazam-Choice Specs
Timid
EV spread 252 special attack/252 speed/4 hp
Trick
Psychic
Focus Blast
Grass Knot

Alakazam is a beastly special sweeper. With Trick he can cripple blissey, cresselia or any other wall that tries to come in on him. On the flipside, with Choice Specs he causes a lot of damage.

Dusknoir-leftovers
Careful
EV spread 252 hp/76 defense/180 special defense
Fire Punch
Shadow Sneak
Pain Split
Ice Punch

Dusknoir is my protection against rapid spin because of his ghost type. He is also my best defense against special attacks. Fire punch is so I can hit Bronzong who I would otherwise have trouble with if Alakazam doesn't trick his choice specs onto him. Ice punch is for dealing with Donphan and those pesky dragons. The reason for the lack of will-o-whisp is because toxic spikes will have already been in effect and will-o-whisp won't work so I'd really be wasting a movespot.

Weavile-expert belt
Jolly
EV spread 252 attack/216 speed/42 hp
Pursuit
Ice Punch
Brick Break
Night Slash

This guy is my main defense against Gengar. Pursuit annihlates him on the switch. Other than that he's a standard sweeper with good type coverage.

Overall I think this team can do really well. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Use the standard Spiking Roserade imo

Roserade @Focus Sash
(Timid)
4HP/252 SPA/252 Speed
Grass Knot
Sleep Powder
HP Fire (or ice) (Fire for steels or Ice for dragons)
Toxic Spikes

It works very well. Much better than your set imo since most pokemon wont run from Roserade so setting up a sub will be a lot harder than you think.

I use this Roserade on my team.. F-Sash basically lets you get two tries at Sleep Powder or at least 1 layer of T-spikes... very useful

Well if your Roserade is slower than they wont run....

Taunt Gyara, a common lead will never run from Roserade
