[SET COMMENTS]
Rotom-Heat has a great typing and stats that allow it to be a valid wallbreaker. Having use of Nasty Plot allows Rotom-Heat to disguise itself as a utility and take advantage of the opponent's walls. Rotom can successfully break through Ferrothorn, Clefable, Ferrothorn, Gliscor, Defensive Landorus and Toxapex. Although it may not like setting up on some of them, at +2 Rotom can break through all of these Pokemon with ease whether it's with Overheat, or Thunderbolt. An EV spread of max special attack and speed allows Rotom to outpace faster defensive threats such as Tapu-Fini and Heatran, both of which can cripple Rotom, but not completely counter it. Substitute allows Rotom to set up on previously mentioned defences, as well as Pokemon such as Latias-Mega, Heatran, Scizor-Mega and Serperior.
Rotom-Heat generally fits onto offensive or bulky offence teams, where it's destructive capability allows it to clear the path for teammates such as Mega-Scizor, Garchomp, Landorus, Mega-Lopunny and Heatran. Rotom generally likes support from VoltTurn cores to allow it to pivot in and out, as without HP investment, it's not as bulky as it could be. Each member also compliments Rotom-Heat well as they can succeed where it struggles against Gastrodon, Hydreigon, Tyranitar and Mega Swampert. Defensive back fences such as Toxapex, Heatran, Corviknight, Clefable and Landorus greatly support Rotom's weaknesses to Greninja, Garchomp, Tapu Lele, Tyranitar and Volcarona, all of which can take advantage of an unboosted Rotom on a clean switch.

Other Options
=============
Utility Rotom-Heat has a similar spread in Speed, investing more into HP and Defence whilst still having the ability to run Pain Split and better supporting it's team with defog.
Checks and Counters
===================
**Blissey:** Blissey walls Rotom-H, with its special defence stat, and can survive long enough to wear Rotom down with Toxic and click soft boiled on a +4 Overheat, but has to be careful if Rotom is carrying Pain Split as it can be played around enough HP is taken.
**Heatran:** Although Heatran doesn't appreciate a +2 Thunderbolt or Discharge, it can also cripple Rotom with Toxic and Magma Storm damage as well as stop it from using Substitute or Pain Split with Nasty Plot.
**Water Types:** Pokemon such as scarf Tapu Fini, Gastrodon, Urshifu-RS and Rotom-Wash, all either outspeed Rotom-H or can survive a hit and hit harder back. Gastrodon and Rotom-W can both eat an Overheat of course, but Rotom-W can survive an unboosted Thunderbolt and OHKO Rotom-H back with a Hydro Pump.
**Ground Types:** Offensive threats such as Garchomp and Mold Breaker Excadrill both effectively deal with Rotom-H, as Garchomp can survive a +2 Overheat and OHKO Rotom with Rockium Z, and of course Excadrill ignores Rotom's Levitate ability and OHKOs it with a 4x effective Earthquake.
**Knock Off:** Rotom hates to lose it's Heavy-Duty Boots as it is then required to either use Pain Split or have a teammate remove rocks to safely do it's job without losing too much HP, which can put pressure on the team. The loss of boots also gives Rotom a worse matchup against Landorus, Tapu Fini and Mega Lopunny's Close Combat.
