Underrated, but not inferior. Some of the sets you will find in this team are described by this sentence. This team has been drastically modified since X/Y came out (I was even using a Weakness Policy Agilygroos, and it was good too), and now it's way more defensive than I expected it to become. The thing I mostly see here is the lack of entry hazards (and Stealth Rock in particular) but i really can't find a way to make room for it. Every member has worked as expected during the tests, and I hope you will help me to make this rubbish a bit better than now <3
Great Khan (Kangaskhan) (F) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Return
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
My Mega-evolution of choice is Mega Kangaskhan, because of the offensive presence it brings into the team, wich otherwise would be rather mediocre offensively. Seeing that i had two pokemon that counter very well Fighting-types in general, I felt I could afford another Fighting weak poke, aside from my Bisharp. Her set is pretty straightfoward aside for the Fake Out that she uses before Mega-evolving, when she still has the sCRAPPY ability.
Mr. Pringles (Jellicent) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SDef
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Scald
- Recover
- Taunt
This guy is wonderful at taking on any Fighting type that dislikes being burned, and due to taunt he isn't even a sitting duck(or jellyfish maybe) when facing walls like chansey or ferrothorn. He would be an awesome spinblocker, if I had hazards on my team:( Anyway, he still counter a lot of big threats, especially Heatran, wich may give me some troubles otherwise.
Grass Ass (Tangrowth) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Relaxed Nature
- Earthquake
- Giga Drain
- Knock Off
- Hidden Power [Fire]
This is an underrated Assault Vest user, but I find it one of the best because of its recovery in the form of Giga Drain, the ever-useful Knock Off and awesome mixed difenses. Regenerator makes up even more for its lack of recovery, so it's definetely something you guys should try out there. It's a part of my FWG core and pairs up decently well with the rest of the team in terms of typing.
Thunder pls (Gliscor) @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 244 HP / 40 Def / 224 Spd
Impish Nature
- Substitute
- Toxic
- Earthquake
- Protect
All you know the staller Gliscor, the king of poison, wich spams Substitutes andToxic everywhere and laughis at your attempts to damage it while Protecting. I hate facing it, but he's a solid member of the team because of how well its two weaknesses are covered, making it really hard to take down with the appropriate prediction. It also fills the role of physical wall, especially due to its Fighting resist and Ground immunity, while still having the Attack to fire off Earthquakes when needed.
BLUE RANGER (Bisharp) @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
My bulky setup sweeper of choice here. Bisharp has a very interesting typing that grants him cool resistances, but also three horrible weaknesses. There are way too Intimidate users on the ladder, so I love getting a free +1 boost when they kick in. While its subistitute it's not that hard to break, it makes the opponent attack me while I have my sucker punch to outspeed and damage it. However, Mach Punch destroys him, so he requires a lot of Burn and Ghosts support to be effective.
Scrotom (Rotom-Heat) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Trick
- Thunder Wave
I noticed that almost every team is using Rotom-W right now, and I can't understand why. Ok, he has a great defensive typing and blablabla, but I find Rotom-H's ( (EIGHT) resistances and 1 immunity way more useful to switch in. This set is useful at slowing down fast sweepers, shutting down walls for the rest of the match and keeping momentum all in once, smoething that few other pokemon can claim to do as well. Furtermore, it's 3 weaknesses are easily dealt with by the rest of the team.
