Rotom-W, with its excellent defensive typing, further bolstered by its ability Levitate makes it a fantastic defensive pivot. Volt Switch allows it do decent damage to enemies like Serperior while switching out. Rotom-W is also a great status spreader, having access to Will-O-Wisp to weaken Physical attackers like Weavile and Dragonite, and Thunder Wave to slow down opposing Pokemon like Dragapult and Iron Valiant. Pain Split is its main way of healing off damage taken, and it works well with Rotom-W's low HP stat versus targets like Blissey. It's EVs can be changed to either be Physically Defensive to face physical attackers like Great Tusk and Kingambit more, or Specially Defensive to face special attackers like Iron Moth and Enamorus-I. 12 Speed EVs are used to outspeed uninvested Great Tusk. Tera Steel turns its only weakness, Grass, into a resist, which is helpful versus the likes of Rillaboom. It also gives it a Toxic immunity, making it more reliable versus Toxapex. Tera Fairy can also be used to give it a resistance to Fighting-moves from Gholdengo and Great Tusk, as well as Dark-type moves from Weavile and Kingambit.

Rotom-Wash is mainly good on balance structures due to its amazing defensive pivoting abilities, and combining it with another strong pivoter like Cinderace is also a good idea because Cinderace can also provide a switchin versus Grass-types like Serperior. Hazard setters like Skarmory or Ting-Lu are also a good thing to combine with pivot spam, as constantly forcing your opponent to switch out can make hazard damage add up over time. Gliscor is a great partner in particular, as it not only can set up hazards, but it can also use Knock Off, which is great because it removes Heavy-Duty Boots. Rotom-W has a bad matchup versus Raging Bolt, who also can shrug off any status conditions Rotom tries to throw, as well as Kyurem, who is threat with its strong Freeze Dry. Having a good answer to Dragon types such as Gholdengo For Kyurem and Ting-Lu for Raging Bolt will help Rotom out a lot. Rotom-W is also bad versus Grass-types, particularly Rillaboom and Ogerpon-W who can easily threaten it out, so having a switchin like Corviknight or Skarmory could help.

Rotom-Wash naming convention is Rotom-W, keep this consistent, with its excellent defensive Electric/Water typing, further bolstered by its ability Levitate giving it an immunity to most hazards and Ground types like Great Tusk this is all mostly dex info that is unnecessary, makes it a fantastic defensive pivot Pokemon for your team this is mostly fluff + we do not address the reader (no we/you/i)/assign pronouns (no he/his/him or she/her/hers). STAB Volt Switch allows it do decent damage to enemies like ?? i assume you wanted to elaborate, list some examples of mons that will come in on rotom while darting out of battle switching out, giving you a switch opportunity to another Pokemon dex info. Rotom-Wash is also a great status spreader, having access to Will-O-Wisp to weaken Physical attackers like Weavile and Dragonite, and Thunder Wave to slow down opposing fast you want to click twave into any special attacker/mon that doesn't care about wisp, not necessarily just fast mons Pokemon like Dragapult and Iron Valiant. Pain Split is its main way of healing off damage taken, and it works well with Rotom-Wash'(Add apostrophe))s low HP stat list some targets that it particularly likes to pain split off of?. It's EVs can be changed to either be Physically Defensive to punish face it's not really punishing them by just being bulky physical attackers like Samurott-Hisui i don't like the mention of hamurott since it's likely clicking ceaseless into you and then flip turning out, can you list another physical attacker instead, like tusk? and Kingambit more, or Specially Defensive to punish face same as above special attakcckers like Iron Moth and Enamorus-I more. 12 Speed EVs are used to outspeed uninvested Great Tusk. Tera Steel is a fantastic Tera Type to use, as it unnecessary fluff turns his its only weakness, Grass, into a resist can you rephrase this to more emphasize what matchups this tera type helps, instead of just describing a type matchup as well as giving it a Toxic immunity once again, what matchups does this help with? talk about those instead of just describing a type feature, ie this helps rotom in the gking matchup etc. Tera Fairy can also be used to give it an immunity to the many strong Dragon type moves from Roaring Moon and Raging Bolt. Fairy tera isn't really for dragon types, as Bolt is clicking tbolt into you most likely anyways, and the other dragons either dont run dragon stab or have powerful secondary stab they'd rather be clicking instead. Fairy tera is for the fighting and dark resistance instead, so you should talk about those

Rotom-Wash is mainly good on balance structures due to its amazing defensive pivoting abilities, and combining it with another strong pivoter like Cinderace is also a good idea what does cinderace offer beyond "just another pivot"?. Hazards are also a good thing to combine with pivot spam, as constantly forcing your opponent to switch out can make hazard damage add up over time this is all fluff, why not list good hazard setters that pair well with rotom instead? ie ting lu skarm hamurott etc. Having a good Knock Off user like Great Tusk or Gliscor to remove Boots will make this idea of pivoting and hazards more effective tusk isnt very common on balance teams and there are definitely better options to list + add what else these mons offer to wash other than just "knocker" and the latter half of the sentence was mostly fluff. Rotom-Wash'(add apostrophe)s typing makes it have an awkward time versus other Dragon types rotom does fine into most dragons, as they still hate being twaved/burned, its really just bolt and kyurem that give it a hard time, so just combine the kyurem and bolt sentence, especially Raging Bolt who also can shrug off any status conditions Rotom tries to throw. Kyurem is also a good offensive check threat with its strong STAB Freeze (Add space)Dry. Having a good answer to Dragon types like these will help Rotom out a lot like? what are these answers? you need to list examples for these kind of statements. Rotom-Wash is also bad versus Grass-types, particularly Rillaboom who can easily threaten it out not listing waterpon, which can switch into pump and threaten with encore? And you need to elaborate on this beyond "rotom struggles with this" how can rotom get around this? What teammates can back up rotom in the matchup?. Whilst Rotom-Washs low HP can help with using Pain Split, it does not help with taking hits from the many strong Choiced attackers in this metagame, which are but not limited to Dragapult, Walking Wake, Weavile and Meowscarada. nothing likes taking damage from choiced attackers, and pult, weavile, and meow arent common choiced attackers anyways If Rotom-Wash is Physically Defensive, having a good special wall like Slowking-G Galarian Slowking or Blissey blissey is only seen on hard stall can help. Similarly, if Rotom-Wash is Specially Defensive, having a good physical wall like Skarmory or Great Tusk tusk is not physical wall nor is it seen often on balance would help. Once again, you need to elaborate on what these mons can help with, what matchups do they cover ie gking and skarm can help against grass types etc etc etc

After much deliberation, we're unfortunately going to have to QC reject this analysis, due to a lack of metagame knowledge and lack of substantial improvement after a QC. I'll go over some of the more prevalent examples:
  • A few examples listed are not particularly metagame relevant, such as Serperior or Toxapex.
  • Tera Steel is useful for more than just Rillaboom, it helps Rotom-W take on a key threat in Kyurem.
  • Tera Fairy is a horrible matchup into Gholdengo, as Gholdengo does not want to click Focus Blast into Rotom-W anyways, instead preferring Shadow Ball/Hex, and Tera Fairy simply allows Gholdengo to click Make It Rain. Instead, Tera Fairy is run for Zamazenta, allowing Rotom-W to switch in and cripple Zamazenta with status.
  • Cinderace offers more than just a switch-in to Grass-types (which it also does not do particularly well, as Cinderace does not have the bulk to switch into attacks like Ogerpon's Power Whip, or Rillaboom's Wood Hammer, etc), Cinderace acts as a secondary status spreader, as well as hazard remover through Court Change.
  • There are also much better examples for pivots that were not listed here, such as Galarian Slowking (which I mentioned you should talk about in the analysis).
  • You generally forgot to list what Rotom-W can do for its partners (ie checking Fire types like Iron Moth or Heatran for Skarmory, Great Tusk and Primarina for Ting Lu, etc etc).
Apologies, and you are free to reapply for another set in the future. Thank you for your time and effort!
