XY OU [RTM] Ou team 2000

  1. Slowbro (F) @ Leftovers
  2. Ability: Regenerator
  3. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
  4. Bold Nature
  5. - Scald
  6. - Thunder Wave
  7. - Slack Off
  8. - Fire Blast
  9. U_698d9e_2568950.jpg
  10. I picked slowbro in team beacuse i had to get something tanky physical pokemon and counter for talonflame. Many testing done i got slowbro as best pick for team synergy, it takes many weaknes out which are threat for core pokemons. Fire Blast is picked for ferrothorn and other grass or steeltype pokemons. Fire Blast is most important for team beacuse there is a lot pokemos that can get hitted by it. T-wave is for slow fast physical sweepers beacuse sometimes i need switch to pokemon who can take out that sweeper if slowbro otherwise cant.
  11. Slowbro role in team: Physical stall wall

  1. Sylveon (F) @ Leftovers
  2. Ability: Pixilate
  3. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
  4. Calm Nature
  5. - Hyper Voice
  6. - Protect
  7. - Wish
  8. - Heal Bell
  9. Sylveon has good synergy for team. I picked usually used cleric set for it beacuse its only good role after specs sweeper sylveon. i took defence EV's for it beacuse it can take now few physical moves same time as tanking special attacks. (sylveon doesnt need ev for special defence beacuse it can tank incredibly well all special attacks.) i normally use full ev on special defence but wanted try defence + hp combination and it worked better. Didnt need switch out as many times as full special defence sylveon. Wish helps slowbro and many other pokemons beacuse there is a lot toxic and burn stallers. Ofc need be careful when using sylveon.
  10. Role: Cleric Special wall

jap_absol.png

  1. Absol (F) @ Absolite
  2. Ability: Justified
  3. EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
  4. Jolly Nature
  5. - Superpower/play rough
  6. - Swords Dance
  7. - Sucker Punch
  8. - Knock Off
I needed fast physical sweeper and i didnt want to follow meta sweepers beacuse i wanted something "own" and "unique" in ou. This is why i picked mega absol for team. It have good synergy with other pokemons and works well with talonflame and azumarill + it can be stall breaker when there will be problem with some wallers. Knock off is good for leftovers and specs users or can be really helpful take from opponent pokemon their eviolite (aka chansey, porygon-2). Knock off can be useful in predict too. Superpower is in just beacuse tyranitar and other overpowered pokemons with fighting weakness. I know what people think absol, she isnt bad even if movepool is very restricted, it just need get to work and i've got it work out somehow (more info will come later on)

talonflame_by_erleuchtete-d6hhfgo.png

  1. Talonflame (F) @ Sharp Beak
  2. Ability: Gale Wings
  3. EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spe
  4. Jolly Nature
  5. - Brave Bird
  6. - Flare Blitz
  7. - Swords Dance
  8. - Roost
  9. Revenge killer and i dont need say much 'bout TF. Everyone knows why tf is in team :-3.

  1. Azumarill @ Choice Band
  2. Ability: Huge Power
  3. EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
  4. Adamant Nature
  5. - Aqua Jet
  6. - Waterfall
  7. - Play Rough
  8. - Superpower
  9. I needed something bulky and i think physical sweeper was good to pick (but i'm not sure 'bout this pokemon yet. I picked it beacuse fire types and playrough is powerful with this little girl.

  1. Latias (F) @ Life Orb
  2. Ability: Levitate
  3. EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
  4. Modest Nature
  5. - Dragon Pulse
  6. - Roost
  7. - Defog
  8. - Psyshock
Latias is good and i picked it beacuse i needed Defogger and good special sweeper to make team more balanced. As team only special sweeper this pokemon have rough times but works out with synergy sylveon and talonflame mostly. I'm thinking replace dragon pulse or psyshock with t-bolt beacuse this pokemon is kinda counter for charizard mega - y and second that can take it out but difference with azu is this can take him hits more (solarbeam).

rate and help me get team better :-3. There isnt much to explain 'bout pokemons and team have big weaknesses. I hope i get good and fine helps.

You need to add more description to each of your pokes, this RMT just looks unfinished.

this isnt unfinished. In descriptions i told what are they role, why i chose them and little info 'bout moves. Some pokemons doesnt need even description beacuse people uses them a lot and they have same movepools too. If i choose in team pokemon that breaks meta, i will tell everything if i can with my bad english. There isnt anything new to say from those that are used a lot (example Talonflame)

Hi, pretty nice team you got here, but I have a few suggestions:

First off, at the end of the post, posting all the sets at once as an importable can help others rate the team better as all the sets are together, making things more convenient instead of constant scrolling. Anyways, onto rating the team itself.

First off, I notice you don't have a stealth rocker. Since the goal of this team seems to be making way for an absol sweep, rocks are important in wearing down your opponent. For this job, I suggest replacing Sylveon with Stealth Rock Clefable. This still leaves you with a defensive fairy type that is capable of handling the same threats, while also setting up rocks to help wear down your opponents.

Next, I'm not a huge fan of the Latias set you're using. I get that you want her as a bulky defogger, which is fine, but the EVs can definitely be optimised. For this, I recommend changing the nature to timid, and using a spread of 72 HP / 184 SAtk / 252 Spe. This set retains enough bulk to take on the likes of Mega Zard Y, Knock Off Landorus I, and other special attackers. Additionally, this set allows you to outspeed things you weren't able to before. A problem with using a Modest nature is that base 100s can outspeed you, meaning that the likes of Garchomp and Gardevoir can take you out before you can get off a last ditch defog.

Another thing I noticed is that Talonflames EVs can be optimised. One of the main draws of Jolly SD Talonflame is being able to outspeed the likes of Scarf Magnezone and Raikou, so you can hit them with a boosted Flare Blitz. In order to do this, a set of 68 HP / 252 Atk / 188 Spe should be used. It outspeeds base 115s, which allows you to outspeed the aforementioned threats.

That's all I have for now. GL with the team!

i'm not fan of clefable and pixilate hyper voice is more better. I left on purpose that sr out from team. I just didnt find any good stealth rocker that would be more useful for me. Maybe i could change out azu for something else or change talonflame. Not sure tho. Sylveon worked too well for team and i dont like get rid of her (Sylveon been just too helpful for team)

i will try your other suggestions :-3
