After the fastest tiebreaker in the history of tiebreakers, I am pleased to welcome everyone to the playoff stage of RU Classic IX! 16 competitors have qualified based on their performance in the SS, SM, ORAS, BW, and ADV Cups, and now they will compete in all five tiers in single-elimination playoffs. A list of seeds and a visual copy of bracket can be found below as well as the spreadsheet.

The playoffs round will give points for RU Circuit
9th-16th: 60 points
5th-8th: 95 points
3rd-4th: 137.5 points
2nd: 187.5 points
1st: 250 points

Playoffs are best-of-five, single elimination. The higher seed (on the left; smaller number) will choose the generation (SS, SM, ORAS, BW, ADV) that Game 1 will be played in. The loser of the previous game may choose the next generation to be played. You cannot repeat generations within a series and replays are required! The standard tournament rules follow.

TheFranklin vs. Elfuseon - I think Frank wins but never doubt la Fusée so it will be close
Hoops vs. Feliburn - he will be bad, get one turn right and then give lectures about why he's the best boomer of 2025
(jokes aside even though Hoops is the SS winner, I still feel like uncle still got it especially in ORAS/SM)
Cielau vs. zause - not betraying the bros
Baddy vs. EviGaro - Baddy takes BW and SS, Evi takes ORAS and SM, ADV is about who tilts first
Ampha vs. FastCarVroom!!! - Vroom the goat but I feel like Ampha's better in fairy gens
GoldCat vs. Txunt! - GoldCat reacted haha to my last post he does not deserve to get bolded
