RU Hazard Stall

After a couple of hideous failed attempts at RU hyper offence, I went the complete other way - stall. This team has done pretty well, since nobody seems to carry taunt ever. The main aim is to use toxic spikes and damage dealing hazards to wear the opponent down whilst limiting damage to my own pokemon.

Gligar @ Eviolite
Ability: Immunity
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Earthquake

Gligar has an astounding 508.5 defence and a reasonable 249 special defence after eviolite. Taunt is because otherwise I had no real answer to smeargle, I have considered defog but I think it's a bit too risky considering all the milotics/tornadus running around.

Ferroseed @ Eviolite
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Spikes
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball

Physical wall and hazard setter, resists knock off and isn't completely offensively toothless; gyro ball hits harder than I expected. Honestly not much to say, plays almost exactly like ferrothorn.

Registeel @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Curse
- Iron Head
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

Shamelessly stolen from Meru on the RU thread, this is incredible. Nobody expects it and so many times I have been saved by this unbreakable monster. The only way to stop it once set up is strong STAB super effective special attacks, otherwise its game over. Also, hyper cutter means that seed flare hax doesn't even work, there are so few counters for this it's incredible.

Cofagrigus @ Leftovers
Ability: Mummy
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Lax Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Haze
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Ball

Toxic spikes mess up any team which is unprepared, Cofagrigus doubles up as a spinblocker and since all spinblockers are physical he can cripple them with will o wisp. Haze is because, as with all stall teams, set up sweepers are my worst nightmare.

Aromatisse @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Moonblast
- Protect

Aromatisse is the cleric, special wall and sableye counter whose prankster taunts would otherwise demolish this team. I'm sure there's probably a better move than protect, but its fun for mindgames. Also, aroma veil means it's a taunt absorber. Resists that dreaded knock off which is so detrimental to this team.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Recover
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Toxic

Milotic dares my opponents to defog and punsihes them for stick web, and is another special wall. Milotic carries the most offensive presence on the team and is nice and bulky with it. Toxic is a filler since I wasn't sure what else would be beneficial.

Threats:
Set up sweepers in general, although if they get toxic'd then its normally fine.
Reuniclus. Yeah there's not much I can do to this.

Hello there. I'm no stall expert, but I think you need a phazing move to stop setup sweepers. I think you could replace Milotic's Toxic (as you said it's a filler move) with Dragon Tail. You can use this in conjunction with Haze, which is an effective move in its own right. I think you have to watch out for both variants of Virizion (Swords Dance and Calm Mind) though. Hope I helped and good luck with your team!

On milotic you should probably run scald over hydro pump. To be entirely honest, milotic is a defensive Pokemon so scald is veeeery nice. Also marvel scale over competitive. Especially if you opt to run rest. It makes milotic a much more versatile wall as it can take on physical threats too.

If you want, you could completely remove a pokemon (not sure which) to run quagsire. Quagsire is a hard stop to every physical sweeper without a grass move.
