RU (RU) SD Toxicroak

Toxicroak @ Life Orb
Ability: Dry Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch

Recently having risen to RU by usage, Swords Dance Toxicroak is a very anti-meta pick because it can handle many common defensive threats. Toxicroak's best trait is that its ability, Dry Skin, lets it freely come in on the best defensive Pokemon in the tier, Milotic, without risking Scald burns. Toxicroak's Poison typing gives it an immunity to Toxic poison, which lets it set up freely on bulky Pokemon that rely on Toxic, such as Milotic and Psywave Bronzong. Despite having relatively low bulk, it is able to offensively check Pokemon like Virizion and Golisopod due to its unique set of resistances, and it can even set up on the variants of the latter lacking the uncommon Drill Run. Toxicroak's resistance to Dark allows it to more easily set up on Pokemon with Foul Play. Ice Punch and Drain Punch give Toxicroak great overall coverage and allow it to smack anything that resists Sucker Punch hard. Ice Punch hits certain Ground- and Flying-types like Gligar, Nidoqueen, and Noivern and deals with Grass-types like Shaymin, Roserade, and Chesnaught. This little frog's unique traits make it one of the premier setup sweepers in RU!

hi
Recently having just risen up to RU by usage, Swords Dance Toxicroak has made a name for itself by being a very anti-meta pick because of its ability to handle many common defensive threats. Toxicroak's best trait is that it is able to always come in on Milotic because of its ability, Dry Skin, regaining HP and not having to risk Scald burns unlike most other Physical attackers.

I think emphasis on Milo being the best defensive mon in our tier should fit in here somewhere to kinda show just how anti-meta toxicroak is. You could maybe squeeze it in with combining these sentences if the character count is an issue.

Despite having relatively little in the form of bulk, it is able to offensively check Pokemon like Virizion and Golisopod due to its unique set of resistances it is blessed with, being able to actually set up on the latter if it is lacking the uncommon Drill Run.

more of a gp thing but probably start a new sentence to talk about it setting up, a bit long of a sentence and hard to parse.

A resistance to Dark allows it to easier set up on Pokemon with Foul Play, and its Poison / Fighting typing means that nearly Pokemon that resist Sucker Punch fear another one of Toxicroak's moves, allowing it very effective versus faster but weaker threats.

same as above but the info is good.

This little frog's unique traits make it one of the premier setup sweepers in the RU tier!

Ice Punch and Drain Punch give Toxicroak great overall coverage and allow it to smack anything that resists Sucker Punch hard. Ice Punch is generally more useful than Gunk Shot, as it (Previous two changes are bc gunk shot is not on the listed set and therefore is confusing when not mentioned as an option) hits certain Ground- or and Flying-types like Gligar, Nidoqueen, and Noivern while still dealing and deals with Grass-types like Shaymin, Roserade, and Chesnaught.
