Hello.. Trickster a.k.a Ghostflower here with a Sunny Day team... I've had some success with this team and a lot of failure with it so I hope Smogon can help me with my team...
My team.
Persian (F) @ Heat Rock
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Sunny Day
- Fake Out
- Taunt
- U-turn
Persian is my lead on this team simply because of the fact that it's one of the most fastest pokemon in the RU tier and for the fact that it can shut down Spikers, Seeders, and Rockers or any pokemon that wants to set up on it. 252 evs in HP and 4 evs in defense allows Persian to take physical hits that aren't fighting types.
Leafeon (M) @ Heat Rock
Trait: Leaf Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Sunny Day
- Leaf Blade
- Synthesis
- Heal Bell
Leafeon is in here because of it's amazing defense stat (max is 394 I think) and it's amazing ability to block status moves from occuring. Heal bell is in there to remove status from my party pokemon and Synthesis is in there because Leafeon doesn't have access to Leech seed (sad face). It also sets up Sunny day.
Shuckle (M) @ Heat Rock
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Sunny Day
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic
- Encore
Unlike Leafeon, Shuckles can take hits from both sides effectively well and set up Rocks, Sunny day, and annoy my opponent with Toxic and Encore. I don't really know what else to say here other than I'm not sure about his move set. Can anyone help me with that?
Haunter (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Sludge Bomb
- Shadow Ball
- Hidden Power [Fighting]
- Giga Drain
Haunter is my special sweeper and he does a damn good job at it. 252 evs in Special attack plus Life Orb takes out almost anything it comes across. I was thinking of using Choice specs with him. Would that be a good idea? Anyway, HP fighting allows me to take out almost any Dark type there is in the RU tier. Giga drain hits ground types and water types hard, Sludge Bomb and Shadow ball are there for dual stab.
Rapidash (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 208 Atk / 44 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Hypnosis
- Flare Blitz
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Wild Charge
The EV set is self explanatory as you can tell Rapidash is a mix sweeper. I use Hypnosis to shut down incoming threats so I can switch and proceed to smash my opponent's head in with another sweeper. Hidden power Ice is in there to take out ground types, although I was thinking about changing it to Grass. Wild Charge is in there to take out Moltres, Mantine, and any pure water type in RU. Flare Blitz is just there for stab.
Lilligant (F) @ Life Orb
Trait: Chlorophyll
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Quiver Dance
- Petal Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Hidden Power [Fire]
Lilligant is another sweeper of mine that works very well with 252 evs in Special attack and 252 Speed it's kind of difficult to counter while under the sun. I shut down my opponents with Sleep Powder and proceed to set up on them with Quiver Dance and dance my way to victory with Petal Dance. HP fire is in there to counter Grass types, Steel Types, anything weak against fire lol.
I hope you guys can help my team out. Thanks.
