RUGL II Predictions Contest
What is the RUGL II Predictions Contest?
The RUGL II Predictions Contest is a chance for spectators to participate in RUGL by choosing who they think the favorite for every matchup is, with a chance to win a cash prize come the end of the season!
How do I participate?
Every week, a form will be posted in this thread containing the week's matchups. Participants will have until Tuesday at 11:59 PM GMT -4 (For week one, it is Wednesday 11:59PM GMT -4) to fill out their predictions, at which point the form will close to make way for early week games.
What if a game is played early/a matchup changes?
A game played before the 48 hour window closes will be voided on all predictions and not worth any points. Similarly, any matchup that is changed through players being substituted out will also be voided on all predictions and not worth any points.
What about tiebreak games?
Tiebreak games will be voted on and counted towards a participant's overall total.
Do I have to vote every week?
No, you can participate as much or as little as you'd like, but we highly recommend those aiming for the cash prize participate as much as possible.
How can I keep track of my progress?
There will be a post here each week (after week one) announcing the previous week's results, including statistics on how many matches were predicted correctly and a leaderboard for participants.
What are the prizes?
At the end of the tournament, a cash prize of $50 will be given to the player with the most correct predictions, as well as a cash prize of $25 towards the player with the second most correct predictions. In the instance of a tie, $25 will be gifted to each 1st place player, and/or $12.5 will be gifted to each 2nd place player. All prizes are subject to change in the case of future donations.
How can I donate to the prize pool?
You can contact feen on Smogon DM or on Discord @feenino
