Tenacious Technicians (4) vs (6) Prime Protosynthesizers
SV: Metallica126 vs
Kushalos - i personally rated both these guys super highly in my prs, kush has some deal with god to buff him in these side tours so i'll give him the nod w1 but I really cannot stress how good behind the sticks metallica is
SV:
zS vs LBN - i said it on stream ill say again, lbn plays a different tier than most people which has led to mixed results historically, as such i'll give the nod to zS who not only has plenty of accolades under his belt but is in general a steadier player
SV: fish anemometer vs
MachJacob - i think this is a fantastic w1 matchup for both these players, fish who is certifiable in pu but new to ru currently on a strong ssnl run, and machjacob who has been a longstanding member of the community who has gotten hot lately and finally making his rupl debut, i will go with experience w the tier here
SV:
DugZa vs Ryu - ngl mildly surprised to see Ryu here? glad to see him make the debut but personally I was expecting like django, or mclovin, or smth as the start here, dugza meanwhile is doug, hes proven to be great behind the sticks for many tiers and as such gets the nod from me
SS: OranBerryBlissey10 vs
The Strap - if anyone forgot that rubd finals game where strap miracle forced out a win vs obb go back and watch it
SM: lza vs
Xiri - i have not seen as much of Iza's gaming as id like to before confidently being able to bold them and i am familiar with xiri's gaming so will give the nod
ORAS: Real FV13 vs
MrAldo - this is the selfbuy slot, the outcome of this match will determine a lot momentum wise and aldo is coming off a pretty good rubd run so will give him the nod
BW: Accel vs
ninjadog - with all due respect to my ne brethren this was the guy who was best in the pool in the madhouse
ADV:
SpoiledBerries vs Msousa - berries is built for this. shoutouts msousa you made monotype look like the showtime lakers but berries might as well be the chicago bulls
Bo3:
TheFranklin vs pdt - franklin is actually the chicago bulls and while pdt is a strong player, frank went 8-0 last year and until proven wrong otherwise, should be one of the easiest bolds of this tour
Party-Crashing Pranksters (4) vs (6) Noble Guardians
SV:
passion vs Lana - Lana had a decent showing in rubd which does hold a lot of stock to me when combined with what is essentially unparalled support in the guardians brain trust, but i will believe feen when he says passion has the sauce until proven otherwise
SV: Floss vs
Bouff - yeah ok ngl, i get it floss big tour player very hype, good clicker, i just havent seen anything from him this past year that has particularly wowed me? like last year i remember a similar amt of hype just for him to go 1-3 then move to oras. he was a manager for scl so that was an opportunity lost to see him gaming and i dont reallllly have a great idea of how he is in chat. conversely i have had the opportunity to see bouff in action first hand and they have been on a burner recently being undefeated in pubd and having an ok showing in rubd as well so they get the nod
SV: 3d vs
gum - i ran games vs gum last year, ran games vs gum this year, they're quite good behind the sticks, like really I was quite impressed, so i'll give them the nod this year, 3d however was my manager for fisters last year and while he didn't really do much back then, im sure he wants to put that entire szn behind him so i do expect at list a mild amt of motivation from him to do well
SV: Ajna vs
umbry - shoutous ajna sm goat and ik he helped support feli in scl but ima keep it short, umbry is built for this. also for the guardians i am somewhat bolding here bc they spent 31k to retain umbry and that is not a slot that can afford to be folding here idt
SS:
dunoks vs Meru - this is actually just fisters bias outright lol also he came and kinda helped suicunes in rubd so he a real one for even joining the chat
SM:
Finnick Odair vs kumiko - unfamiliar with tdks game i will not lie and so again I will be going with fisters bias...
ORAS: Chaitanya vs
Tenebricite - ppl have told me that tene is a great clicker and chait said to me before draft he's been kinda out of it as far as oras ru goes so I think this would be the perfect slot to predict an upset for
BW:
Finchinator vs seraphz -
ADV: Amity vs
Heysup - heysup has to constantly battle not only his opp, but rngesus which is a lot to ask of anyone but yknow, ppl seem to think hes built like that and for this matchup i think i will agree? adv ru is partly amitys brainchild tho which can be a good/bad thing, easy to get stuck in your ways or overcook when its like that
Bo3: Feliburn vs
Punny - europe > latam in uuwc so by the transitive property
Toxic Chains (6) vs (4) Pressure Cookers
SV: xavgb vs
Lily - stresh is goated but lily is
MY goat
SV: tko vs
feen - unlike frank who seemed to receive a TL buff, it feels like feen has received a TL debuff this past year but I will choose to have faith if he can sauce together a competent team
SV:
avarice vs FlamPoke - speaking of sauce, flam is often prone to getting lost in it and avarice has enough exp both gaming in general and with this tier to be able to take advantage of that which i think will not go unrewarded
SV:
Ampha vs Cielau - really hard to call this one to me ngl, ciel is really hit or miss but when he's hitting he is HITTING, ampha meanwhile will have to be fed teams but he does have a really strong support core backing him up so i will be giving him the bold
SS: C0nfiden1 0yster vs
sol - highest pricetag in not only the ss ru pool but the draft at large means big expectations for sol every week, during stream there were some comments floating around ab his performance but im choosing to believe it is sol's bounceback year
SM:
xXcrossbowXx vs BloodAce - IF crossbow brings a team with actual resists, and IF he doesnt overcook himself in game I feel pretty confident giving this to him
ORAS:
EviGaro vs neomon - depending on when this game happens the odds of an evi w fluctuate to me, I think she should mostly always be favored but if its like 5-4 staring down the barrel of winning the week or tying for the chains you might as well just give up the game she is MEANT for them high stakes situations
BW:
Baddy vs shiloh - im ngl I kinda liked the way baddy was moving during rubd but ik shiloh has a lot of history behind the sticks, just bolding baddy for what i saw recently
ADV:
SEA vs mielke - if mielke wins this it would not only be upset of the week but probably in contention for upset of the tour to me, SEA has dominated this tier for basically all available opportunities and i do not expect that to stop here
Bo3: robjr vs
mncmt - sad to bold against my northeast brethren but mncmt at 16k was just absolute highway robbery and i expect him to deliver on some great wins
