Deranged Hustlers (7) vs Pressure Cookers (3)
SV: TJ vs feen - TJ's record this tour isn't particularly representative of how he's been playing, as there is an argument he has been afflicted with bad luck in each of his games (to differing extents). That being said, I still back the RUTL to feenish this game as the winner to continue the solid tour he's had so far.
SV: Slikkles vs FlamPoke - Slikkles makes his RUPL debut, although he'll be facing a tough opponent in FlamPoke, who's started this tour in excellent form. While I think Slikkles could have an opportunity for an upset win here, I think it's likelier that the Cookers' manager can Pressure him and Poke some holes into his plans to win.
SV: Lime vs entrocefalo - After being thrown in SM in the previous week (a curious choice given that entrocefalo's best performances have come in the current generation regardless of tier), he finds himself more at home in SV this week. Meanwhile, Lime has had a bit of a rocky start to this tour, coming into the week with two losses in a row. Despite that, I think he'll be able to sour entrocefalo's first SV game this tour, and take the win home.
SV: Ming549 vs Evie - I believe Ming549's superior experience in the tier will help him outplay Evie this game of numbers, with his discord profile pic showing that he might have an inherent advantage in seeing the game play out before it happens.
SS: Danny vs sol - The player who took the sol top spot in the SS RU Power Rankings might've started the tour in a less-than-ideal fashion, although with extenuating circumstances (got a bit unlucky in the first week if I recall correctly..), but I believe he'll be able to bounce back this week, although it will not be an easy feat against Danny, who is no slouch himself.
SM: Xrn vs Clem - Think Xrn outclasses Clem as a player by a significant margin, and I don't particularly rate the Cookers' support highly in this slot, so I feel Xrn is a good bet to take the win unless he shows some Clemency and decides to play below his usual standards, or bring a substandard team.
ORAS: Piyu vs shiloh - Honestly, this is the only MU I couldn't come up with a good joke for, so I hope both find a way to lose (offense meant). I think it will come down to whoever's more determined to win, so I'll bank on Piyu being able to out-hustle shiloh in this instance considering the team he's on.
BW: Guille vs FastCarVroom!!! - Would've predicted Guille to take the win regardless of the sub, but think this sub has further made it clear that he has the requisite guile to win this one with the amount of BW experience he's stacked up.
ADV: LpZ vs mielke - I predict that the Hustlers retain won't live up to his name, as he won't be holding the L in this MU. Both of them have only 1 win so far this tour, but LpZ is the kind of player you just can't bet against in any ancient generation lower tier (and even CG lower tiers nowadays, if his Slam win is anything to go by).
Bo3: Thiago Nunes vs Lily - Both of these players have had a rough go of it in the tour so far, although I'd argue Nunes has had the harsher matchups with playing all 3 games in the Bo3 pool. Three weeks in a row of playing this slot against top-level players will have given Nunes the necessary preparation it needs to take on Lily, and prevent her from setting down roots in this tour just quite yet.
Noble Guardians (6) vs Toxic Chains (4)
SV: umbry vs xavgb - The top dogs in the SV pool this year, both of these players have lived up to their rankings and started strongly this tour. However, I think out of the two, the one who has enough xavvy to edge him is the Chelsea fan, who'll need the pick-me-up after Tottenham batter them in a couple days.
SV: Lana vs toinha - Think I would've banked on rob to win this game despite the opposing fortunes the two players have had up to this point, but after the substitute, I will flip my prediction, and think Lana can guard her positive record for a while longer in this tour.
SV: gum vs Ampha - While it's a close call, I believe the Guardians have the better building support, which will cover up any lingering teething problems that might still exist for gum's adjustment to the tier after skipping the last RU team tour.
SV: DripLegend vs tko - In a battle of zoomer vs boomer (relatively speaking, anyways...), the one winning by technical knockout will be the veteran tko, although I could easily see DripLegend coming out on top as well, making this one of the more tighter MUs this week.
SS: Meru vs C0nfiden1 0yster - I rate Meru's playing skills highly, and they have proven themselves worth the money spent on them with an unbeaten start to the tour so far. While 0yster has started on a positive note as well and has more practice building the tier, I believe Meru will be able to make him clam up with the in-game advantage.
SM: kumiko vs xXcrossbowXx - kumiko did some incredibly impressive manoeuvring to minimise damage to Gondra's Block Registeel last week, while crossbow missed the mark in prep by loading no Volt immunities into a Mega-Ampharos, even if that wasn't what ultimately spelled his doom. I'll back kumiko to hit the target here, both in prep and in battle.
ORAS: Tenebricite vs EviGaro - The main factor leading me to predict Tene here is the fact that he was able to beat 2 opponents who Evi has already lost to, leading me to believe he has the tenecity to keep his strong form going with what might be seen as another upset win after already taking down Chaitanya.
BW: Cow vs Baddy - Given that Cow has just subbed in to try and bolster a struggling BW slot that has provided no wins for the Guardians this season, I doubt he'll be able to cow the resurgent Baddy into submission, who has only taken a loss to one of the best players in the pool thus far.
ADV: Heysup vs SEA - Both of these players have significant ADV experience and have picked up a couple wins in the first 3 weeks each, so there is easily an argument for either to win this one. While I don't think Heysup will look at sea this game, I do think SEA will be able to win the crucial turns which will give her a slight edge.
Bo3: Punny vs avarice - While avarice picked up an impressive win against lighthouses last week (who Punny did lose to W2), I believe the task of overcoming Punny will be a harder mountain to scale. Also, considering the theme of these predicts, I feel like it would be criminal not to bold Punny of all people, given his... name...
Rockies' Defiant Payloaders (7) vs Tenacious Technicians (3)
SV: hi.naming is hard vs Metallica126 - I do think gewgge's KCM Naruto custom avatar might be one of the best I've ever seen on PS (despite someone trying to tell me his 'Gaara' custom was better, nearly made me think it was AFD), but his opponent's building expertise and heavy-metal playstyle (s/o Heavy Metal Highlights, forever underappreciated...) might throw him off his game and lead to his loss in this particular matchup.
SV: Sabella vs sufys - Sabella managed to get his first win of the season last week against a skilled player in robjr, which should sufys (suffice? I'm running out of ideas at this point) as a good enough ramp-up in momentum for him to be able to take on his next opponent as well.
SV: hjkhj vs fish anemometer - I do think anemometer is a very good pilot, and while both may have started with the same record on paper, hjkhj's creativity in the builder coupled with his vast experience in the tier could very easily make his opponent look like a fish out of water.
SV: Hacker vs Plague - Both of these players are starting for the first time in this tour, but I'll give Hacker the edge as I feel his general inexperience in this tier won't plague him as much, given the opponent mirrors him in that regard, and his skills as a pilot will be able to shine as long as his team provides him with the correct tools for the match-up (something definitely in question, as I value the Technicians' building abiliy in SV higher).
SS: BluBirD vs OranBerryBlissey10 - Neither of these players have had the start they'd like to have, and while I feel OBB is the better pivot (especially in SS), I'll give the edge to BluBird to finally take off the ground this tour and pick up a win.
SM: odr vs DugZa - Think DugZa dug his own grave by switching into SM against odr, who is a phenomenal player who I had the pleasure of teaming with last RUPL and who I believe will recover from his slow start, as already evidenced by his win against crossbow last week.
ORAS: Killintime vs Real FV13 - This one is another toss-up for me, but if Killintime is serious about this tour and not just killing time, I think he'll be able to outplay FV, and make him Real FV1-3.
BW: Yay vs Accel - I believe Accel has what it takes to get back on track after a loss to Finch disrupted his unbeaten season last week, and will be able to let out a 'Yay!' after beating his opponent this week.
ADV: THE_CHUNGLER vs SpoiledBerries - This might come as a bit of a surprise, but I think Chungler will be very motivated to reverse his fortunes, and be able to spoil the unbeaten record his opponent has after they narrowly avoided the fate last week with a last-turn crit against Amity.
Bo3: lighthouses vs TheFranklin - Frankly, can I afford not to bold him?
