Deranged Hustlers (7) vs Pressure Cookers (3)
SV: TJ vs feen - TJ's record this tour isn't particularly representative of how he's been playing, as there is an argument he has been afflicted with bad luck in each of his games (to differing extents). That being said, I still back the RUTL to feenish this game as the winner to continue the solid tour he's had so far.
SV: Slikkles vs FlamPoke - Slikkles makes his RUPL debut, although he'll be facing a tough opponent in FlamPoke, who's started this tour in excellent form. While I think Slikkles could have an opportunity for an upset win here, I think it's likelier that the Cookers' manager can Pressure him and Poke some holes into his plans to win.
SV: Lime vs entrocefalo - After being thrown in SM in the previous week (a curious choice given that entrocefalo's best performances have come in the current generation regardless of tier), he finds himself more at home in SV this week. Meanwhile, Lime has had a bit of a rocky start to this tour, coming into the week with two losses in a row. Despite that, I think he'll be able to sour entrocefalo's first SV game this tour, and take the win home.
SV: Ming549 vs Evie - I believe Ming549's superior experience in the tier will help him outplay Evie this game of numbers, with his discord profile pic showing that he might have an inherent advantage in seeing the game play out before it happens.
SS: Danny vs sol - The player who took the sol top spot in the SS RU Power Rankings might've started the tour in a less-than-ideal fashion, although with extenuating circumstances (got a bit unlucky in the first week if I recall correctly..), but I believe he'll be able to bounce back this week, although it will not be an easy feat against Danny, who is no slouch himself.
SM: Xrn vs Clem - Think Xrn outclasses Clem as a player by a significant margin, and I don't particularly rate the Cookers' support highly in this slot, so I feel Xrn is a good bet to take the win unless he shows some Clemency and decides to play below his usual standards, or bring a substandard team.
ORAS: Piyu vs shiloh - Honestly, this is the only MU I couldn't come up with a good joke for, so I hope both find a way to lose (offense meant). I think it will come down to whoever's more determined to win, so I'll bank on Piyu being able to out-hustle shiloh in this instance considering the team he's on.
BW: Guille vs FastCarVroom!!! - Would've predicted Guille to take the win regardless of the sub, but think this sub has further made it clear that he has the requisite guile to win this one with the amount of BW experience he's stacked up.
ADV: LpZ vs mielke - I predict that the Hustlers retain won't live up to his name, as he won't be holding the L in this MU. Both of them have only 1 win so far this tour, but LpZ is the kind of player you just can't bet against in any ancient generation lower tier (and even CG lower tiers nowadays, if his Slam win is anything to go by).
Bo3: Thiago Nunes vs Lily - Both of these players have had a rough go of it in the tour so far, although I'd argue Nunes has had the harsher matchups with playing all 3 games in the Bo3 pool. Three weeks in a row of playing this slot against top-level players will have given Nunes the necessary preparation it needs to take on Lily, and prevent her from setting down roots in this tour just quite yet.

Noble Guardians (6) vs Toxic Chains (4)
SV: umbry vs xavgb - The top dogs in the SV pool this year, both of these players have lived up to their rankings and started strongly this tour. However, I think out of the two, the one who has enough xavvy to edge him is the Chelsea fan, who'll need the pick-me-up after Tottenham batter them in a couple days.
SV: Lana vs toinha - Think I would've banked on rob to win this game despite the opposing fortunes the two players have had up to this point, but after the substitute, I will flip my prediction, and think Lana can guard her positive record for a while longer in this tour.
SV: gum vs Ampha - While it's a close call, I believe the Guardians have the better building support, which will cover up any lingering teething problems that might still exist for gum's adjustment to the tier after skipping the last RU team tour.
SV: DripLegend vs tko - In a battle of zoomer vs boomer (relatively speaking, anyways...), the one winning by technical knockout will be the veteran tko, although I could easily see DripLegend coming out on top as well, making this one of the more tighter MUs this week.
SS: Meru vs C0nfiden1 0yster - I rate Meru's playing skills highly, and they have proven themselves worth the money spent on them with an unbeaten start to the tour so far. While 0yster has started on a positive note as well and has more practice building the tier, I believe Meru will be able to make him clam up with the in-game advantage.
SM: kumiko vs xXcrossbowXx - kumiko did some incredibly impressive manoeuvring to minimise damage to Gondra's Block Registeel last week, while crossbow missed the mark in prep by loading no Volt immunities into a Mega-Ampharos, even if that wasn't what ultimately spelled his doom. I'll back kumiko to hit the target here, both in prep and in battle.
ORAS: Tenebricite vs EviGaro - The main factor leading me to predict Tene here is the fact that he was able to beat 2 opponents who Evi has already lost to, leading me to believe he has the tenecity to keep his strong form going with what might be seen as another upset win after already taking down Chaitanya.
BW: Cow vs Baddy - Given that Cow has just subbed in to try and bolster a struggling BW slot that has provided no wins for the Guardians this season, I doubt he'll be able to cow the resurgent Baddy into submission, who has only taken a loss to one of the best players in the pool thus far.
ADV: Heysup vs SEA - Both of these players have significant ADV experience and have picked up a couple wins in the first 3 weeks each, so there is easily an argument for either to win this one. While I don't think Heysup will look at sea this game, I do think SEA will be able to win the crucial turns which will give her a slight edge.
Bo3: Punny vs avarice - While avarice picked up an impressive win against lighthouses last week (who Punny did lose to W2), I believe the task of overcoming Punny will be a harder mountain to scale. Also, considering the theme of these predicts, I feel like it would be criminal not to bold Punny of all people, given his... name...

Rockies' Defiant Payloaders (7) vs Tenacious Technicians (3)
SV: hi.naming is hard vs Metallica126 - I do think gewgge's KCM Naruto custom avatar might be one of the best I've ever seen on PS (despite someone trying to tell me his 'Gaara' custom was better, nearly made me think it was AFD), but his opponent's building expertise and heavy-metal playstyle (s/o Heavy Metal Highlights, forever underappreciated...) might throw him off his game and lead to his loss in this particular matchup.
SV: Sabella vs sufys - Sabella managed to get his first win of the season last week against a skilled player in robjr, which should sufys (suffice? I'm running out of ideas at this point) as a good enough ramp-up in momentum for him to be able to take on his next opponent as well.
SV: hjkhj vs fish anemometer - I do think anemometer is a very good pilot, and while both may have started with the same record on paper, hjkhj's creativity in the builder coupled with his vast experience in the tier could very easily make his opponent look like a fish out of water.
SV: Hacker vs Plague - Both of these players are starting for the first time in this tour, but I'll give Hacker the edge as I feel his general inexperience in this tier won't plague him as much, given the opponent mirrors him in that regard, and his skills as a pilot will be able to shine as long as his team provides him with the correct tools for the match-up (something definitely in question, as I value the Technicians' building abiliy in SV higher).
SS: BluBirD vs OranBerryBlissey10 - Neither of these players have had the start they'd like to have, and while I feel OBB is the better pivot (especially in SS), I'll give the edge to BluBird to finally take off the ground this tour and pick up a win.
SM: odr vs DugZa - Think DugZa dug his own grave by switching into SM against odr, who is a phenomenal player who I had the pleasure of teaming with last RUPL and who I believe will recover from his slow start, as already evidenced by his win against crossbow last week.
ORAS: Killintime vs Real FV13 - This one is another toss-up for me, but if Killintime is serious about this tour and not just killing time, I think he'll be able to outplay FV, and make him Real FV1-3.
BW: Yay vs Accel - I believe Accel has what it takes to get back on track after a loss to Finch disrupted his unbeaten season last week, and will be able to let out a 'Yay!' after beating his opponent this week.
ADV: THE_CHUNGLER vs SpoiledBerries - This might come as a bit of a surprise, but I think Chungler will be very motivated to reverse his fortunes, and be able to spoil the unbeaten record his opponent has after they narrowly avoided the fate last week with a last-turn crit against Amity.
Bo3: lighthouses vs TheFranklin - Frankly, can I afford not to bold him?

quite late this week :skull:

Noble Guardians (6) vs (4) Toxic Chains
SV: umbry vs xavgb - uber highlight matchup, maybe of the whole tour, this is what rupl is all ab... im going with umbry, still not loving a ton of the team picks stresh has been bringing even if theyve been working out and comparatively umbrys have looked pretty solid, that being said the guardians as a whole are kinda monotone in the type of sv theyve been loading so there is risk of being cteamed into the ground here, play wise both umbry and stresh have both been killin it so i dont really have a ton of notes lols
SV: Lana vs toinha - i remember ampha showed me some of the stuff toinha has been cooking for previous weeks... yeah dubious stuff and as a clicker i do have more faith in lana off the back of the higher # of games she's been playing lately and the pretty solid numbers that she's put up
SV: gum vs Ampha - ok yeah i mean this is gonna sound a little monotonous at this point but the teams ampha has brought have been pretty suspect, and his play has also been a lil shaky (the tera for no reason in his game last week?) and gum has been looking good with their gaming overall, see no reason not to give the nod here
SV: DripLegend vs tko - tko finally broke out of his funk last week and got a pretty clutch mini entei sweep which i love to see so i think he will be carrying some momentum into this week with him, but this is mostly a vibes pick as drip also picked up a HUGE win over lime last week, although i doubt tko will be loading wp azelf anytime soon so i will still favor him
SS: Meru vs C0nfiden1 0yster - 0yster has been on a streak of taking out the big SS names and while meru has been playing well, i like the narrative 0ysters putting together here and this is a matchup much like blub or sol that he'll be getting up for
SM: kumiko vs xXcrossbowXx - kumiko pulled off a very impressive win vs gondra last week outstalling rest slowbro with registeel and in general has been looking pretty good, xbow showed off some of his old weird building tendencies last week which did not pan out vs odr even though he played pretty good, very well could see this flip if his team can keep him grounded, lol get it, this week
ORAS: Tenebricite vs EviGaro - evi has confessed that the only way shes really gonna stay invested in oras this rupl is if she brings nonsense, so while i do expect that, evi is FAMOUS for making saucy nonsense and tene has still yet to have a breakout moment for me to give him confidence, so will bold ms frutl
BW: Cow vs Baddy - the bad in baddy stands for bad name change which is what cow is (triple axel blaze had so much AURA and cow is unfortunately just cow...)
ADV: Heysup vs SEA - heysups brought disgusting paraspam nonsense the past couple weeks and if you just have more turns to click moves than your opponent bc theyre paralyzed then its really hard to win esp in adv, SEA has bounced back nicely after a somewhat shaky start to the tour tho so if they can avoid the luck bug this is definitely in their wheelhouse to bring back
Bo3: Punny vs avarice - frankly i do not think punny has been playing very well at all from the showings we've seen thus far but the gap in experience and quite frankly much superior support in SV/SS is REALLY hard to bold against, avarice had a nice debut last week knocking off diogo but punny is a problem.

Prime Protosynthesizers (1) vs (9) Party-Crashing Pranksters
SV: MachJacob vs Ajna - this would be the story of the tour and probably ultimate win in the zoomer v boomer discourse but realistically pranksters sv have been on fire from an ideas standpoint and ajna has been pristine in his play so far, machjacob has been doing quite well bouncing back from his L two weeks ago with a signature W over Lily last week though so it wouldnt be the CRAZIEST thing to see this flipped
SV: LBN vs passion - again a lot of this is coming from the machine that is the pranksters sv brain trust, overall lbn has been doing quite well with his turbo weird builds but seeing an L from last week makes me think ppl are catching on to how to handle that type of stuff, and LBN is somewhat a one trick pony with the general vibes of the teams he likes to use/build
SV: Kushalos vs 3d - another signature dub over zS last week makes me place a lot of stock in 3d rn, kush is also kinda stuck on an island as far as his sv support goes and is coming off an L to kate last week which leaves me somewhat unconvinced ab his consistency rn, this week will mean a lot setting the tempo for him the rest of the tour
SV: Stories vs Floss - stories had a better game than i was expecting last week but, and i will sound like a broken record here, im just not convinced her team can pass her a team that will get the job done vs floss who has been beating the washed allegations and proving last years rupl was an outlier
SS: The Strap vs dunoks - the strap has been the protos primetime gamer and i expect similar things from him this week, dunoks also has not particularly impressed me with his play either esp when i think back to his w2 gaming where he rolled unbelievable mu and somehow needed an ice beam freeze to squeak out a win
SM: 691 vs Finnick Odair - again the quality of support for the pranksters here is just unbelievable and when ryan has played hes looked very good, props to 691 for being flexible for his team but with all due respect this is a way different beast this week than entro for him to fight
ORAS: Xiri vs Chaitanya - momentum pick for sure, chait has regained his footing after the fumble week 1 and has been looking very nice in his gaming whereas in general the protos have been having some trouble getting consistent results in this slot
BW: ninjadog vs Finchinator - this is a banger, the bw goats duking it out, personally i get the vibes though that ninjadog has just not been feeling it this tour and that type of mental thing can definitely be smth thats tough to get over as we get into the meat of the season, finch has also been destined by bw ru hax god to be favored which is nigh impossible to beat vs in this tier
ADV: Msousa vs Amity - really have not seen anything particularly inspiring from msousa to make me assume he has the juice to get over the adv workhorse herself
Bo3: pdt vs Feliburn - the power of god is NOT on felis opp's side this week and he has been looking hella motivated this tour so i have no reason to bold against him i feel, pdt has also been looking just a step behind in his gamings thus far, he finally got on the board with a dub last week though so perhaps we could be in for an upset...

Rockies' Defiant Payloaders(5) vs (5)Tenacious Technicians
SV: hi.naming is hard vs Metallica126 - CHINESE GAMING, considering the payloaders woes with SV and the fact that metallica is probably responsible for like 75% of gew's builder it feels like a fairly obvious metallica pick here
SV: Sabella vs sufys - sufys had a really good run in ssnl as well as just far superior support here with sabella looking quite shaky in a lot of the gaming thus far so i feel like it might be an upset but im going with sufys for this week
SV: hjkhj vs fish anemometer - payloaders support might be in disarray but hjk always manages to show up with pretty good product himself (pls dont HO again) and fish is still pretty new to the tier so i feel like if he gets pullled into a somewhat more drawn out slugfest vs hjk he should be favored
SV: Hacker vs Plague - both teams are testing a thing out here which makes this somewhat hard to call but hackers been a bit more involved with the tier lately so from a clicking standpoint it feels reasonable to give him the edge, that is... if his team can feed him quality product from a builder perspective
SS: BluBirD vs OranBerryBlissey10 - its been a rough season for both these guys so far and this week will be pretty instrumental in getting some actual big momentum started for whoever the winner is, with that being said i do expect blub to get on the board this week just with his superior contact with the tier giving him the edge
SM: odr vs DugZa - lza on the bench for probably irl reasons i imagine? which is unfortunate bc theyve looked quite nice overall, meanwhile dugza has been underperforming a bit and with his attention split for spl this week and odr finally getting on the board and some momentum last week i feel like this is a somewhat safe bold
ORAS: Killintime vs Real FV13 - both teams have been trying to figure out how to get consistent results in this slot but from conversations with kt, it seems the payloaders are maybe having a bigger disconnect than i think the technicians are so i will go out on a limb and give it to real fv here
BW: Yay vs Accel - bw ru
ADV: THE_CHUNGLER vs SpoiledBerries - chungoat has been really struggling to get his feet under him this tour and berries has been looking very good so far so this feels like a pretty straightforward bold for me
Bo3: lighthouses vs TheFranklin - sorry diogo, sacrificial slot this week
