Tenacious Technicians (1) vs (3) Pure Power Prizefighters
SV: Heatranator vs
xcx > Both won last week pretty dominantly. Heatran brought a webs team where araquanid went crazy. Gum brought his bread and butter spikes stack. I think Gum showed more stuff in terms of gameplay however this is one of those moments where Heatran could counter team and just win on preview. I think Gum has a higher skill atm but will be close.
SV: Lana vs
etern > Lana was subbed last week from what I saw both in uupl and rupl so not much to say. etern had a very cool Gardevoir set last week and had some style points for bringing toxicroak, unfortunatly it's whole role was being sacked and did a total of 0%. etern played solidly despite losing, it was maybe a bit ambitious to think it wasn't some form of offensive vern since otherwise the strongest mon was entei with boots. I still favour him with some still good plays and Lana lost the only week she played atm.
SV:
Hacker vs DKM >Both have been struggling this tour. However Hacker was in SV1 while DKM struggles in SV4. Hacker tried to stall hjkhj and in an intense game he lost. I liked the team and I get the idea behind why bring it vs them. Was not a bad idea, hjkhj just brought something that felt good into it. DKM brought the most entei weak team I've seen with the switch in being tera ches. Yeah wasn't a fan of that team, didn't help that it felt like they got outplayed a bit. I think Hacker is quite favoured in general.
SV: Vioz vs
Ampha > Vioz subbed in last week for the double sub. The team he brought was the RUPL classic atp, woch spikes stack. My problem with the team is that it's the kind of team where you would expect a more sturdy ground time with maybe some recovery. Gligar is un underrated mon but I think it fits more on bo/ offense than some balance stuff. Vioz is still my son and had a good showing despite the loss which is why I imagine he's starting. Ampha used a sample team and won which is +1 000 style points + he destroyed Quinn with it, respect for that. Ampha in general seemed to show some good gameplay and has a very deserved 2-0 so bolding him.
Deranged Hustlers (3) vs (1) Bibliotheca Blazes
SV: DripLegend vs
Cow > This is a cool one. I enjoyed both their plays last week. Drip made some nasty plays and used a cool tech in specs Ribombee. He had a dominant showing. Cow cooks in SV1 atm. The flam snow was brought and even if it's an easy team to use Cow played it well and didn't fall for any traps with it, just trade mons until you win. I will give a slight edge to Cow but I think Drip can have what it takes to win. Just need to not lose to some ho or spikes stack.
SV:
Cielau vs Axzel > Cielau is atm having a decent season. I do think that sun is cheesy in this meta and that Scovillain is the most cheese mon you can get on sun. Hoops was benched after going 0-2 for the Blazes which I don't agree with. He can definitely bounce back and I would've gave him a 3rd shot. Axzel I believe has no RU exp but is a good OU player. It will come down if he has the motivation and if the team can adapt in a week to make Axzel a key to their success. I do believe that Cielau has shown enough good stuff atm to make me bold him.
SV:
Quinn vs Kjay500% > Quinn got kinda destroyed last week by Ampha after an early tera reminding me of the Hacker tera week 1 which if it works wins the game. However it did not and Mien got burned so yeah. Nature Conqueror brought a super cheesy rain last week even by their standards. They did miss crabhammer but idt it was needed to click it so yeah. I would favour Quinn as long as they don't get cheesed.
SV:
seed vs eifo > The game of the week in SV. I really liked seed's team last week. Specs noivern is really underrated and I like that the rest of the team is more classic but yet so effective. He also played well. My son is doing a great job. Eifo did a good game last week as well. Luck was on both sides between them and 8truc so fair enough. Also an other woch team but not spikes stack so interesting, I did like the team. I do think this is a close one but I want to believe in seed going 3-0 after being sheist like that. A must watch.
Masters of Disguise (1) vs (3) Lead Guard Dancers
SV: Ming549 vs
Soul King0 > The Masters of Disguise are struggling in SV. I think flam said they were 1-7 in SV and yeah that's a rough one because the score doesn't seem to reflect the actual level of this SV. Ming has been struggling while Soul King0 is 2-0 with some solid games. I did like the heat Grimmsnarl build typical of feli. I do think momentum is a big thing here and with meta support I think Soul King0 got it.
SV:
feen vs Sabella > Both are struggling being 0-2. I did like the feen team last week and got an unfortunate matchup. Sab brought a cool spikes stack and unfortunatly face a bad mu. I do think it's close but feen is more familiar with this tier so will bold him. I do like the meta support but he seems to be in a sort of burnout phase atm.
SV: JoelXLeaf vs
Miyoko > Usally I would bold the main when the level is not that far off but that psychic terrain team by Joel was next level hyper cheese and I do not think it was good at all. Didn't help that he got stomped super hard and I believe the beatdown of the week. Miyoko comes of the bench and I believe with some support and a bit of learning he can do it.
SV: Heni-san vs
hi.naming is hard > Jojen was benched for the Masters of Disguise after a rough start for Heni-san. I'm glad they got drafted and have a chance to prove themselves after being an active presence in RU for a while now. I do think this isn't the easiest mu facing naming. gewwge can be inconsistent but they played pretty well atm. Maybe hoops choked by clicking np with mew? Not sure but otherwise they've been solid. Going with the 'safe' bold.
