RU RU Salazzle

Salazzle (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Corrosion
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Sludge Wave
- Toxic
- Knock Off

Salazzle is a huge threat in RU because of its high base Special Attack and Speed. Flamethrower and Sludge Wave are consistent, powerful attacks that can deal serious damage to pretty much any Pokemon in the tier besides exceptions such as Jellicent and Gastrodon, but they don't appreciate getting poisoned with Toxic. Toxic works well with Salazzle's ability, Corrosion, allowing it to poison Pokemon such as Steelix, Copperajah, and opposing Salazzle. Knock Off removes important items from opposing Pokemon such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Charizard and Leftovers from Snorlax, one of Salazzle's main checks. Virizion makes for a great teammate, as it can mow down Water-types such as Jellicent and Vaporeon and tank Ground-type attacks from the likes of Steelix and Rhydon for Salazzle. Salazzle is also threatened by fast Psychic-types such as Choice Scarf Indeedee, so Dark-types such as Scrafty and Silvally-Dark are great teammates. Finally, Salazzle appreciates U-turn, Volt Switch, and Teleport users such as Passimian, Rotom-C, and Xatu, respectively, to be safely brought in.

I think you should emphatize how good the combination of Flamethrower and Sludge Wave is, hitting for neutral damage almost everything in the tier, and the few resists dont appreciate getting Knocked / Toxiced. Re: Toxic, Jelli and Gastro are better examples, since Vap has heal bell. Also mention Snorlax in the Knock Off section, no leftovers snorlax is always kinda a deadslot, and its one of the best resists too. 1/1

Salazzle is a huge threat in the RU metagame because of its high base Special Attack and Speed. Flamethrower and Sludge Wave are Salazzle's consistent, powerful attacks that can deal serious damage to pretty much any Pokemon in the tier except for a couple besides exceptions such as Jellicent and Gastrodon, but they don't appreciate getting poisoned with Toxic. Toxic works well with Salazzle's ability, Corrosion, allowing it to poison any Pokemon, regardless of their typing (this sentence lacks any real info besides implying what corrosion does so i think you should elaborate on what mons salazzle can use toxic on that wouldn't normally work due to the target's steel or poison typing). Knock Off allows Salazzle to knock off removes important items from opposing Pokemon such as Heavy-Duty Boots from Charizard or and Leftovers from Snorlax, one of Salazzle's main checks. Virizion makes for a great teammate, (AC) as it can mow down Water-types such as Jellicent and Vaporeon and can tank Ground-type attacks from the likes of Steelix and Rhydon for Salazzle. Salazzle is also threatened by fast Psychic-types such as Choice Scarf Indeedee, (AC) so Dark-types Pokemon such as Scrafty and Silvally-Dark would make are great teammates. Finally, Salazzle appreciates U-turn, Volt Switch, or and Teleport users such as Passimian, Rotom-M, or and Xatu, respectively, to be safely brought in.
