Hello everyone. This is my attempt at building an sand balance team. My favorite type of playstyle is sand offense/ hyper offense but i want to try something new since balance offense seems very popular.(Also If anyone can give a very good detailed guide with explanation on how to build balance offense that would be very appreciated too.) This team in my opinion seems decent but I think the idea of which i made the team can be improved on greatly. My main acoount on PS is Terry41 but most of the replays of the team in action will be replays of me using my alt Jack41. So any positive criticism and ideas on the team is really appreciated. Also last thing before I start with the team I would like to mention pokes I always like to have checks/counters for when building sand teams since they cripple sand team IMO and from my experience. These pokes are: Chansey, focus sash Breloom(God I hate this little shit), Scarf Lando-T, and Mega Sableye(God I really hate this fucking little shit) In Conclusion, Lets start debriefing the team and as i said before any thoughts and ideas on the team and on balance offense in general is really appreciated.

heres a good song to listen to while reading this RMT

Dark_Tyranitar.jpg

Reptar (Tyranitar) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- Fire Blast
- Stealth Rock

This set is my favorite Ttar set I like to use. Because of ttar vast about of weaknesses i believe it to be very fragile i gave it the focus sash to help preserve the sand more so i can switch it out and back in again. In my last RMT i was proven wrong by Alfalfa about Ttar defensive capablitity when he presented the bulky set. Still decided to use this offensive threat because of offensive support it adds to the team since this set is able to one hit Bulky lando-t doesnt have enough speed investment to out speed it, scizor, ferrothorn even though it has a 6% chance to OHKO the standard OU utility set and it can 2HKO Slowbro/Mega with dark pulse
252 SpA Tyranitar Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Mega Slowbro: 254-302 (64.4 - 76.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after sandstorm damage

excadrill_by_dedhpkmn-d5v3djd.png
Grand Mole (Excadrill) @ Air Balloon
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake

This is pretty much a standard excadrill set. Not much to be said here. The reason why I chosed air baloon was because i need a switch in on lead mamoswine after i set up rocks with Ttar. Excadril in the sand helps counter bird spam since it out speeds them and rocks kills most flying types. especially talonflame.

228px-Mega_gardevoir.jpg
Eirika (Gardevoir) (F) @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Psyshock
- Focus Blast
- Hyper Voice

TBH the reason why Mega Gardevior is here because I absolutely hate mega Sableye. Most my sand teams struggle against it and it really limits my team building. Mega Gardevior is really great agaisnt stall pokes and bulky water types since it 2HKO Rotom-W. Also just stating Mega Gardevior is one mof my favorite mega evolutions.

652_chesnaught_by_pklucario-d74ethv.png
Tomahawk Man (Chesnaught) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Super Fang
- Leech Seed
- Spiky Shield
- Drain Punch

Well Because of one my friends using chesnaught on almost all of this teams I eventually grew to love this poke. I has great defensive capabalities and its ability bulletprood does wonders. I helps check/counter pokes that are a threat to my sand team like Breloom and Mega Lopunny. The reason why I like the move superfang on Chesnaught because 1. I didnt think i need spikes because it didnt help too much and 2 it helps against stall and walls by cutting bulky pokes in half.

Empoleon_used_Surf_by_seiryuuden.jpg

Happy Feet (Empoleon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpD / 8 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Roar
- Toxic
- Protect

So empoleon man Job was to be a defensive core with Chesnaught. since i had excardill with rapid spin so didnt think i need defog on Empoleon. Roar main purpose it to stop/counter set up pokes. Rest of the moves are pretty much standard for Empoleon. Moving on.

talonflame_by_all0412-d6a1mv2.jpg

Bonnie (Talonflame) (F) @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Brave Bird
- Flare Blitz
- Roost

Last but not least we have Talonflame. Talonflame is one of Favorite gen 6 pokes because of it revenge killing capablilities and its speed. The reason why I run max speed Jolly because I wanted to beat most teams with the regular standard SD set with HP investment and i dont think the extra hp really helps on tflame. Talonflame main Job on this teamis to revenge kill against Scarf lando-T becausse it does a considerable amount of damage to the scarf set if it isnt intimidated.

Conclusion: I hope people like the team and I would really like to improve on the team so I can build better Sand Balance offense teams in the near future. If anyone does use this team or makes any modifications to it I would ask please save the replays and try to send them here or just notify me that u have replays using the team. Again positive criticism and ideals on Balance offense in general or on how to build balance offensive is very appreciated. Till next time See ya Later
