This thing just kills as a lead! Guaranteed confusion on anything not ghost related, which payback takes care of. if Surrives at all takes care of rocks that try to take advantage of sandstorm. Evs are straitfoward, hit hard and try to stay around.

Usually comes in after Goro goes down. If unfavorable match up roar away then set up Rocks, then proceed to EQ or roar anything else away. Slackoff saves this set from the likes of Weaville and Mamoswine as it can recover Hp back and phaze out. Evs are stay alive, with the 4spe so i can roar beat another Hippowdon if the situation arises.

Speaking of Mamoswine... I love this guy. All that power! just rips apart things and tears holes in teams. LO just adds to the fun. Ice shard saves me from dragons while the EQ is standard and the best ever. Just wish his DW ability would come out cuz HP Fire really hurts. Prefer hp over spe in the evs because it adds to his staying power alot.

My counter to the ever popular, ever annoying ferrothorn, and also my only special attacker. Use Ermac or Scorpion to bait then, WHAM! here comes the hurt. Hp Fire is the crux of this set as it lets him now beat up on Ferrothorn, and to a lesser extent Forretress. Throw up a sub then proceed to destroy. Chose Thunder over ThunderBolt because if they try to set up rain, he can hammer back to submission to, and I've been seeing Ferrothorn alot on rain teams so he can dual serve there. Ev are so Ferro's Whip wont break the subs.

Yes. He is a legit perfect shiny DW gliscor. He is my Baby. Chose Fling and Acro over Toxic and IceFang because Conkeldurr is my pet peeve. Acro hits hard after Fling and ground/flying is actually a pretty nice STAB combo. He is truly amazing, can even beat Ferrothorn 1-1. Protect is just icing on the cake as healing is just amazing.

Say hello to the end-all, game-changing, end-game sweeper. SwordDace on switch then proceed to destroy. EQ is amazing blah blah blah. RockSlide pairs perfectly and the flinch is use-full if you get lucky and makes the Rock/Ground Combo. AirBalloon to switch into ground attacks, better if they're choiced. RapidSpin is kinda a filler because i really dont have a problem with StealthRocks, considered changing to Substitute to block statuses. Standard sweeper Evs.

Run X-Scissor over Rapid Spin on Excadrill. It destroys stuff like Celebi and the Lati Twins. Also, you have no pokemon weak to rocks, so RS isn't really doing much. You may want to consider Taunt over Protect on Gliscor as well.

3 of your team are weak to fire while non actually resists it.
Also with fling/acrobatics , alot of people will hapilly set up on your gliscor as dark and flying dont give such good coverage. Earthquake adds up for it IF the opponent isnt on a balloon or has levitate/flying.

Also you dont seem to have ANY special walls. Almost all dragons will eat this team alive. Mixmence, hydreigon , even flygon , can 6-0 this team. (fire blast/flamethrower gets rid of magnezone, excadrill and mamoswine. Their draco meteor kills gliscor, hippo , and their everything can kill machamp as he isnt that bulky even with 252 hp its a 2HKO with earthquake coming from salamance.)
So you will defenatly need a steel type wall in here , a bronzong would allready help you alot.
I would defenatly get rid of the machamp. The plan from dynamic punch is ok , but he is just too slow to get it off without beeing half dead first. If teamed up with a skarmory , then it will bravebird you first , which will almost be a KO (if it isnt allready) while you will do not even 1/3th of his hp , and he will laugh at you . Sure he is confused, who cares , he can switch out . As for gliscor , defenatly give him ice fang back , he needs it to get rid of annoying pokemons like himself. As getting ice fang back will break the fling/acro opportunity , you can take toxic back too OR you can get rid of protect to do it . Then again , you should have taunt somewhere too.
I really advice a moveset like : Taunt , protect , ice fang , earthquake.
As you dont have any phazers nor taunters yet , this set should be priority #1.

If you dont like bronzong , you could also opt for a jirachi set. Make is specially defensive to a point where it has max hp and atleast 320 Sp.Def , this will make you laugh at draco meteors. The rest of the ev's you can put in defense or attack , and that will give you the choice between a wish passsing jirachi or an attacking one with elemental punches and paraflinch.

@maloman- I prefer the speed boost as excadrill doesn't have any way to boost its speed, but i'll run it and see how i like it

@Noob- Done on Exca, still considering taunt

@Soulfly- I thought fling's damage type was related to the item it held? And its main purpose is to lose the item so Gliscor can destroy Conkeldurr, which can just rip my apart with Guts boosted MachPunch, taking out Excadrill, Magnezone, and Mamoswine before i know it. I personally feel more threatened by Conkelldurr than dragons. I believe that Mamoswine can take care of most with IceShard, because correct me if im worng, 4 are 4x weak to ice, 2 are 2x weak to it and only one(Kingdra) is neutral to it, which is dealt with by Thunder, as it is most commonly seen in Rain. It also doesn't appreciate a LO Stab EQ. But I agree that having only one Ice attack is dangerous, so if it becomes a major problem I'll change fling/acro to taunt/icefang. I really enjoy Machamp as a lead for this weather based Metagame, because people often lead with their weather ability, and Machamp destroys them all. TTar OHKO, Ninetales OHKO, Hippowdon 2HKO and its confused, Politoed 2HKO and confused, Abomansnow OHKO. He also acts as a great phazer because nobody stays in after they're confused, he really sets the momentum in my favor. Also Hippowdon is my phazer.
But I agree the lack of SpecialWall is my biggest concern, which I saw when I was building my team. But I don't really feel that Bronzong fits my team style, TTar cant wall to save its life, and I have no access to Jirachi, because I really like the Jirachi Ev spread you purposed. Would Ferrothorn be a good SpecialWall?

Ferrothorn is a good wall in either type. You can make it a secial wall and it will reach i believe 350 Sp.Def rather easely.
Carefull with that tho, as he has 4x weakness to fire and 2x to fight , and almost all others of your team are allready aswell.
Ice Shard is a decent ice attack for dragons but what if a dragon comes in before you got mamo in ? In team previeuw they can see he's there and they might allready attack to kill mamo off. Also , ice shard doesnt nearly kill a dragonite , in fact , he lives with over half of his hp if multiscale is active.

And commonly spoken : having no steel type to take dragon attacks is a huge weakness allready . Almost every team has a dragon like latios,hydreigon,salamance and so on , most of them will have draco meteor as this is a guaranteed KO on every non max special bulk pokemon. But on a steel type it doesnt do much , even a skarmory can live a draco meteor nicely without any Sp.Def EV's.

What you can try is working out the synergy. For example on excadrill :
Fire -> Nothing to cover up this weakness
Fight -> Gliscor
Earth -> Gliscor
Water -> Mamoswine > Machamp

As you see from 1 pokemons synergy , it aint good. You'll loose your excadrill rather fast to fire attacks. Water attacks , best to take them is mamo swine then machamp , where you'll want to save your mamo for dragons , it will be machamp taking the hits and he cant take them so well.
And you can see that you count on gliscor for 2 other weaknesses .
You can do the synergy for other pokemons yourself, add them to the first post.
Then you and the rest of smogon can see what is needed.

Hi

As a lot of Sandstorm teams you are quite weak to water attacks and rain teams in particular. To solve this problem rather easily you could run Gastrodon instead of Mamoswine. Gastrodon can take on a big amount of rain teams and the likes of Rotom-w and Starmie are countered as well. The standard specially defensive set with Scald / Toxic / Recover / Earth Power will fit perfectly.

You are also kinda weak to Celebi and Reuniclus. The first problem can be solved by running X-scissor on Excadrill instead of Sword Dance, to make up for the "loss of power" you can try an Adamant nature instead. Despite a non-speed boosting nature, there aren't a lot of things that can outspeed Excadrill in the sand anyway. You can fix the second problem by running a Scizor instead of Magnezone. Scizor can easily deal with Reuniclus, both CM as TR variants and the priority move Bullet Punch makes up for the loss of Ice Shard if you take my Gastrodon suggestion. A bulky variant with a moveset of Bullet Punch / Sword Dance / Roost / Bug Bite will suffice. With Scizor, Gliscor and even Excadrill you got most dragon type sweepers covered.

As far as nitpicks go, try Ice Punch on Machamp instead of Stone Edge. Gliscor is the main physical wall on a lot of teams and if you manage to take him out with Machamp, then Excadrill has a much easier time sweeping. Also despite having Rapid Spin on Excadrill, Stall teams can still give you some problems. Therefor you can try Taunt on Gliscor by using a different moveset. A set of Taunt / Protect / Ice Fang / Earthquake will be more then good enough. Although you can try Sword Dance over Protect as well to handle Conkeldurr better. A slightly different EV spread can also be helpful, 244 HP / 176 Def / 88 Spe will give you max Poison Heal recovery, and gives you enough speed to outspeed opposing Gliscor.

Hope these suggestions helped and good luck with the team!
