SM OU sand offense

https://www.smogon.com/dex/media/sprites/xy/tyranitar.gif
Tyranitar @ Smooth Rock
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 8 HP / 252 Atk / 44 SpD / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Stealth Rock
tyranitar plays a very nice offensive support niche in aiding excadrill sweep due to setting up rocks and sand. it also pressures common defoggers like zapdos, torn-t, and pelipper I prefer it over hippowdon because ttar can scare victini and blacephalon better than hippo in my opinion.

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Rock Slide
the second part of our core. this mole is an absolute monster in sand. it can act as an amazing wallbreaker, revenge killer, and sweeper. no one can sleep on excadrill unless your name is celesteela or skarmory. excadrill doesn't have to worry about hazards bar spikes and just hits hard in general. very hard mon to switch into. I take rock slide over rapid spin because I want the option to hit zapdos, pelipper, and regular gyarados and be able to OHKO pinsir without any boosts (under sand)

Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Roost
- Fire Blast
- Focus Blast
- Solar Beam
while it may seem strange to have dual weather setters, I feel like Charizard y can be super useful on this team. for one, he can reset the timer for sand if I need it (need more sand turns, against hail/rain, etc), he also has phenomonal wallbreaking potential, breaking ttar and excadrill's hard counters in skarmory and celesteela, and soft counters in impish gliscor and lando t, and gastrodon. zard also rounds our triple core for the team.
https://www.smogon.com/dex/media/sprites/xy/tangrowth.gif
Tangrowth @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 228 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 30 Atk
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Earthquake
- Knock Off
- Giga Drain
as you can clearly see, the core is super weak to water and relies on Charizard to take on annoying grasses like ferrothorn. this is where tangrowth comes in. tangrowth just sponges water attacks with ease, and can switch into grounds that can frighten excadrill and ttar but zard might not wanna switch into (like scarf lando), you can use hp ice or fire, but I like fire to deal with scizor and ferrothorn

https://www.smogon.com/dex/media/sprites/xy/thundurus-therian.gif
Thundurus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Focus Blast
don't think that just because this is an offset means that it's a bad set. scarf thundurus t is definitely what this team needs. scarf gives it to outpace a large majority of the meta (including scarf lando that may want to switch in) and it has a high special attack as well, letting me take on pinsir if excadrill can't do it because no sand, also beats tornadus-t which may want to creep on ttar with superpower. scarf also lets me revenge kill boosted mons like zygarde, gyarados, the uncommon rock polish gliscor, so on and so forth. the main point of having thundy is to creep on unsuspecting mons that may want to kill it

(couldn't find a fini sprite)

Tapu Fini @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 16 SpD / 52 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Defog
- Taunt
- Scald
fini rounds out defensive synergy with tangrowth. it can switch into fire attacks tangrowth might not want, but also has a good amount of utility in taunt and defog, saving Charizard's ass from rocks. tbh I don't know what else to say about her, lol

oh and btw idk if these sprites will appear cuz im new to this shit lol. mb if I look like a retard. thanks. rate my team!!!!!!!!!!!
