Sand OU Bw2

(Sorry for my bad english)

I started the building phase with Hippowdon (i really don't like Tyranitar, is a sand team), added Gastrodon, for the boost in the special defense and cover the ice/water attack on Hippowdon, added Heatran, for covering the weakness to grass, Starmie for spinning, Alakazam as revenge killer, and Terrakion as pysichal sweeper.

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind

I choose this version, without Stealth Rocks, because i can bite dragons, and other pokemon like Gliscor.
Even with 0 evs in attack, he can do some good damage, and Slack Off on the enemy switch is simply awesome.

Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
- Signal Beam
- Energy Ball

I think Alakazam is the best special sweeper in a sand team.
He didn't take damage from the sand, no damage from the entry hazards, awesome coverage.
And with signal beam i can 1Ohko Celebi and bite other psychic pokemon.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Earth Power
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover

In the sand this pokemon is immortal. He can wall every non grass type pokemon in the game, after a toxic, and watch is enemy dying for the damage of poison and sandstorm.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Ice Beam

Simply, the best spinner in the game. Awesome speed, awesome spc. atk, he can destroy other water pokemon with Thunderbolt. I choose Starmie because is pretty good against rain team. I tryed Donphan and Tentacruel, but they don't do a lot of damage, and are "useless" against a rain team.
I always used the Life Orb version, but in the sand, take a -16% of health is not so good.

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Zen Headbutt
- X-Scissor

An inusual Terrakion, with Zen Headbutt, Jolly nature and the the Choice Scarf. I don't like 2 moves of the same type on the same pokemon, so i choosed Zen Headbutt, and the Jolly nature and the Choice Scarf for outspeeding other Terrakion.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power

He puts the SR, usefull against Volcarona/Ninetales, can bite Dragons, destroy every steel type pokemon.

Works good against other sand, for Starmie and Gastrodon, destroy sun team, and is meh against rain team.

Importable
Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Focus Blast
- Psyshock
- Signal Beam
- Energy Ball

Hippowdon @ Leftovers
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Slack Off
- Whirlwind

Gastrodon (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Bold Nature
- Earth Power
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover

Starmie @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Ice Beam

Terrakion @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge
- Zen Headbutt
- X-Scissor

Heatran @ Leftovers
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Lava Plume
- Stealth Rock
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Earth Power

Hey There.
This is an interesting team you have there, I see several weaknesses, but don't worry I'll help you, I noticed that you're playing a Bulky Offense, you rotate with sweepers and walls to keep offensive pressure and at the same time be able to wall Offensives teams, I really like it, but I think your defensive core is too frail.

First I notice a big weakness against Breloom Sword dance, you can't do anything against him, he can set up easily on your team Gastrodon/Hippowdon / Terrakion (Locked), the opponent will inevitably switch if you come with Breloom or Alakazam, and you will be forced to let a Pokemon to come with them, then let us not forget Spore that can be very annoying for you because after using that move breloom can use Sword Dance without problem.
The second weakness is Gastrodon, it can easily wall your team, because your only way to kill him is to lure him with Alakazam, but you have to make an anticip on Recover or Toxic to come upon him because otherwise it will break focus sash, then Alakazam is not a counter to Gastrodon therefore Energy ball will be obvious and the opponent will switch to get back after and continue.
Then you are weak to Sun + Dugtrio combo because Heatran is trapped by Dugtrio, and you won't be able to kill stuff like Venusaure/Offensive Tran and others Sun abusers.

Now I see a weakness against Gyarados Sub Dragon Dance, it can do a lot of damage, because after a dragon dance it can OHKO Hippowdon, and Gastrodon cannot do anything even with his immunity to water move because Gyarados can use a sub to avoid Toxic and then set up to kill him with Bounce, then you cannot come directly with Terrakion due to Waterfall.
Finally I noticed a weakness against Mamoswine, especially choice band/Life Orb set, because Hippowdon is getting OHKO'd by Icicle Crash, Starmie can be a good pokemon because it stands up well against Ice Shard/Icicle Crash but he cannot do anything against EarthQuake then it does not have Recover to heal, thats true that Gastrodon Physical Defensive can come on Mamoswine but it takes 40 / 50%, the opponent can easily weaken him to kill him with Mamoswine after.

My suggestions:
Latias Cm Refresh Over Alakazam ==> You're actually weak to Gastrodon, with latias cm refresh you can avoid toxic damage and set up with calm mind, Latias is a good counter to Breloom because it stand up well again mach punch and bullet seed, then latias is a good Sun check, so now you can still keep an offensive pressure against Sun+Dugtrio.
Rotom-W over Starmie==> Rotom-W is very good counter to Gyarados dd, because it resist to waterfall and uses volt switch to revenge kill him, then he's also a good check to Mamoswine with his immunity to Earthquake and because it stands up very well against ice move.

I hope I helped and good luck with your team.

Sandstorm only boosts the Special Defense of Rock types, not Ground and Steel types.

So yeah.... I don't really have much to say. You could move stealth rock from Heatran to Hippowdon, but you'll have to replace an important move. Then, since Heatran is offensive, Fire Blast is better than Lava Plume. You could change the Hidden Power to Grass and give it Dragon Pulse to hit Dragon types.

I noticed a big weakness (1 weakness, 1 4xweakness, no resists or immunities) to ground in this team, so you might want to replace Gastrodon with something like Celebi, that resists ground, is still a good special wall and is still strong against rain.

Oh, on a side note, you could dump 12 EVs into attack on Hippowdon to secure the OHKO on standard Naive Salamence after Stealth rock. But it really only does less than 0.5% more damage.
