Sand Room OU

This is an interesting team that I decided to make. It's a sand team that also uses trick room. I've had some trouble with it, but I thought it seemed like a good idea. Any suggestions on what can make it better?

Tyranitar (M) @ Chople Berry
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 200 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Beam
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Flamethrower

Tyranitar is here for the obvious reason of setting up the sand. Also, it has as a really high SpD in sand, so I can use it as a pseudo special wall/mixed attacker. I only run one stab with with Ice Beam AND Flamethrower for added coverage.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Acid Armor
- Wish
- Baton Pass
- Scald

Vaporeon is here for a special wall that can boost defense with Acid Armor then Baton Pass out to either Reuniclus for added bulk while it's sweeping or Salamence for the same reason. I included wish in this set so I can pass out if one of my sweepers or other pokes is low on health and restore them to full. I have Scald on it for the added chance of burn instead of the extra power of Surf. Also, I can bring Vaporeon in on Rotom locked in on Hydropump and get my HP back.

Gastrodon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earth Power
- Scald
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Ice]

The next poke is Gastrodon. I have this gastrodon for another Special Wall, but with more attacking options. I have the standard Earth Power for Heatran, and other steel types and electric types. I have Scald on gastro for the same reason as on Vaporeon. Recover is used when I believe the opponent is going to switch, or I believe I can take another hit and get my health back. Hidden Power Ice is used because it's unexpected, and it hit's the grass types that switch in to gastro hard.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk
Sassy Nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Shadow Claw
- Draco Meteor
- Aerial Ace
- Brick Break

Salamence is up next. I have Draco for the extra power instead of Dragon Claw since you can't have Outrage and Moxie. I have Shadow Claw to hit ghosts and psychics that switch in on Reuniclus. I have Aerial Ace to hit the fighting types that hit TTar hard and Brick Break to hit the dark types that threaten Reuniclus.

Reuniclus (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Trick Room
- Psyshock
- Shadow Ball
- Recover

Reuniclus is up next. It's a defensive lifeorb trick room sweeper. I have Psyshock over Psychic to hit Chansey and Blissey hard. I have Shadow Ball to deal with ghosts and other psychics. I've been thinking about swapping Shadow Ball for Energy Ball to have better coverage. And Recover is used for the same reason on Gastro.

Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SDef
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Toxic
- Shadow Sneak
- Trick Room
- Pain Split

Lastly, I have Dusclops for a physical wall. Shadow sneak is getting swapped out for Shadow punch because in the trick room Dusclops is the slowest poke barring a select few that I haven't seen in a while. I have the Toxic to cripple and whittle away their health while Pain Split allows me to recover my health. I have the Trick Room in case Reuniclus isn't in a position to come in and set it up when Dusclops can.

The reason I thought of this team is because I have extremely low speed IVs on all my pokes, so setting up trick room by either reuniclus or dusclops allows my slow pokes to move first and get set up then proceed to sweep while the sand whittles down the opponents HP. I know I don't have anything immune to sand damage except gastro, Ttar, and Reuniclus, but I do have recovery in the form of wish. Any suggestions welcome.

Calm Nature is suggested for Gastrodon. As for Salamence, use Fire Blast over Aerial Ace, to get rid of Ferrothorn and Skarmory. I'll add to this rate when I get more free time.

Tbh, Salamence's base 100 speed is way too fast for Trick Room. I suggest an Ursaring instead. Here is the set:

Ursaring @Flame Orb
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 0 Spe IVs
Nature: Brave
-Facade
-Crunch
-Hammer Arm
-Earthquake

This hits everything hard, and with Trick Room, it outspeeds many things. It is a devastatingly underestimated sweeper. Hope I helped :D

Hey, I've got a few suggestions to help improve your team.

Firstly, on Tyranitar, use Stealth Rock over Earthquake. Tyranitar has great coverage with Flamethrower and Ice Beam, and won't be hitting too much that it doesn't scare off with Earthquake anyway. With Stealth Rock, it supports the entire team by damaging opposing Pokemon as they switch in. Trick Room will cause further switches as the opponent tries to switch in order to waste Trick Room turns, and Stealth Rock takes advantage of that.

Gastrodon gets Ice Beam, so run that over Hidden Power Ice. It's a more powerful move, with a freeze chance, so I don't think it really needs any further explanation.

Salamence is a great Pokemon, but I think it's a tad fast for a Trick Room team. I suggest replacing it with the slower Dragonite.

Dragonite (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SAtk
Quiet Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast
- Earthquake
- Roost

This is basically like using Salamence, but it's slower, and therefore makes a better candidate for a Trick Room team. With Draco Meteor and Fire Blast, there isn't much that is safe from Dragonite. It also has Earthquake to smash Pokemon like Heatran and Tyranitar, which can safely switch into both of its special attacks (They're also weaker on the physical side, too, which is a plus). If that wasn't all great, it'll be harder to take down Dragonite when it can't be outsped. Roost lets you heal off any damage, but is even better when combined with Multi Scale, which incresaes your survivability.

Reuniclus looks good, but if you're going to replace Shadow Ball, do it with Focus Blast. It provides better coverage alongside Psychic, and hits Pokemon like Tyranitar and Scizor for decent damage, both of which are probably the best counters to Reuniclus.

Dusclops is cool, but Shadow Sneak is completely useless. It's pathetically weak, a 40 base power attack coming from an unevolved Pokemon with no offensive investment. On top of that, Dusclops doesn't need any priority if it's running Trick Room, as it's extremely slow. I think Night Shade would be a better option here, for good, consistent damage.

This isn't really part of the rate, but why is Sandstorm so important here? Literally the only Pokemon to benefit from it is Tyranitar, so it doesn't seem all that important to me.

Good luck with the team, I hope I helped!

Thanks. I'll try these. Also, sand really isn't that important except for residual damage on the opponents. I believe that with switching out for rocks on Ttar along with the sand will wear on the opponents pokes. It's not that important at all.
