As my first order of business, I would like to conclude that this team is still under construction, and it is likely to be changed. As second, this would be my first post ever. I've been known to read posts by other Smogon Users, but never really tried it, so here goes!
Attacking Lead
Tyranitar ~ Desert Gaara
@ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 36 HP / 252 Atk / 220 SpD (Adamant)
~ Fire Punch
~ Earthquake
~ Pursuit
~ Stone Edge
This guy here is guaranteed a large dent in almost any scenario. With a Choice Band and a base attack of 134, his attack skyrockets to 604. I have tried to spread his move-pool to cover any weakness shown.
Defensive Staller
Reuniclus ~ Sift United
@ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD (Calm)
~ Psychic (Possibly Night Shade?)
~ Toxic
~ Recover
~ Acid Armor
For some strange reason, when using the Standard Calm Mind Reuniclus, it just never really worked out. So I wanted to try something new. If he's able to set up an Acid Armor or two, he becomes quite a pain on the defensive sides. With two hundred fifty-two Special Defense, his stats remain at 295. It's defense is at a lower number of 187 with four EVs.
Special Sweeper
Genesect ~ MediaFire
@ Life Orb
Ability: Download
EVs: 72 HP / 252 SpA / 32 SpD / 152 Spe (Modest)
~ Rock Polish
~ Flamethrower
~ Thunderbolt
~ Bug Buzz
If you were observant, you could probably tell that the EVs were setup in a very specific way. Seventy-two HP gets you 301, which is used to survive 3 Seismic Tosses / Night Shades and still live with one. The special attack is maxed out for Genesect to be able to be used to its best. One hundred fifty-two speed gives you 272, and after a Rock Polish, you can outspeed any scarfed base 115'ers. The thirty-two in special defense was the leftovers, and it will provide a attack boost from another download Pokémon (so it won't take advantage of your weak ability to take a Flamethrower).
Damage Calculations for Genesect with +1 Special Attack
>>><>>>><><<<<>>>><>>>><><<<<>>>><>>>><><<<<>
Bug Buzz @ 252 HP & SpD Careful Tyranitar (Sandstorm) ~ 71.29% - 83.91%
Thunderbolt @ 0 / 0 Thundurus ~ 84.33% - 99%
Flamethrower @ 252 / 0 Gliscor ~ 75.14% - 88.42%
>>><>>>><><<<<>>>><>>>><><<<<>>>><>>>><><<<<>
Physical Sweeper
Garchomp ~ Game Shark
@ Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd (Jolly)
~ Swords Dance
~ Fire Fang
~ Earthquake
~ Outrage
Garchomp has really seemed to stay continuous with a Swords Dance set, and in this case, it's going to. Pretty basic. The Sand Veil is nice for a 20% chance for the opponent to miss their attack. It has come in handy, but don't be dependent on it. It isn't that great of a chance.
Set-Up Tank
Ferrothorn ~ Teapot
@ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD (Careful)
IVs: 0 Spd
~ Curse
~ Power Whip
~ Gyro Ball
~ Rest
With Ferrothorn, he can take quite a few special hits, but after a while it surely will add up to quite an amount. I was trying to get away from the Standard Leech Seed, Rocky Helmet set, so I got this. Curse and Gyro Ball is definitely a great combo, especially with STAB. After Cursing a few times, he will become quite a monstrous Pokémon. Rest when needed.
Hit N' Run
Victini ~ Bikini Babe
@ White Herb
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe (Jolly)
~ V-Create
~ Wild Charge
~ Zen Headbutt
~ U-Turn
With the combo of these four moves, he can basically take anything. The main originality source of this lovely lady is the mix of V-Create and White Herb. White Herb cancels out any stat drops from the turn. A one time use only. V-Create's accuracy is 95, but with a 10% boost from Victory Star adds on another 9, which totals up to 104, which concludes that V-Create can be used once without the worry of missing, or being out sped.
That's my team. Thanks for your help!
Looking forward to your comments and ratings.
