Hi guys i wanted to show u my team i gained a lot of expierienc with it and want to share it with you, lets start!
Hippowdon (M) @
Trait: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP / 244 Def / 12 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
– Stealth Rock
– Earthquake
– Whirlwind
– Slack Off
Hippowdon has a very important role in this team: to get the sand up so that Stoutland can sweep. I use Hippowdon over Tyranitar because Hippowdon has a better defensive typing, better physical defences, access to Whirlwind, and it can deal with Dugtrio. Because of Hippowdon’s incredible physical bulk, he’s able to tank a lot of hits from just about every physical threat in OU, and Slack Off the damage away. This bulk also allows Hippowdon to reliably set up Stealth Rocks and phaze out threats that like to boost their stats. Max HP with 244 Defence and an Impish nature give Hippowdon it’s great defence, and the 12 Special Defence EVs let it survive 2 Hidden Power Ice’s from Expert Belt Landorus after Stealth Rocks.
Dog(Stoutland) (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Sand Rush
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
– Return
– Play rough
– Super power
– Crunch
Stoutland is arguably one of the best Pokemon introduced in Black and White, in both looks and function. With Sand Rush and 252 Speed EVs, Stoutland hits 518 Speed, which is only beaten by the rare +Speed natured Scarfers like Terrakion and Lati@s. Return is Stoutlands STAB attack of choice, having 110 base power. Superpower is a powerful super effective attack that hits Rock, Dark, and Steel types hard, while Wild Charge does big damage on Water types like Politoed, who naturally gives Stoutland problems. Crunch is in the last slot to hit Ghost types like Gengar, who are immune to Stoutlands Return, and it also OHKOs Lati@s. Max Attack and Speed with an Adamant nature and Choice Band let Stoutland wreak havoc on opposing teams.
Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 68 Def / 252 SAtk / 188 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
IVs: 2 Atk / 30 SAtk / 30 Spd
– Flash Cannon
– Thunderbolt
– Volt switch
– Hidden Power [Fire]
Because Steel-types can easily stop Stoutland from Return’ing everything to death, Choice Specs Magnezone is a great partner for him. Choice Specs Magnezone is capable of 2HKO’ing Ferrothorn in the rain with Hidden Power Fire, whereas Choice Scarf or Sub Charge Beam Magnezone can only manage to 4HKO it. Thunderbolt and Flash Cannon are strong STAB attacks, Thunderbolt doing serious damage to threats like Politoed and Skarmory, and Flash Cannon can hit various Rock and Ice types. Because Breloom with Spore is so common, I have Sleep Talk in the last slot. With Sleep Talk, Magnezone can switch in on a predicted Spore, protecting the rest of my team from sleep, while still being able to attack the opponent. 252 Special Attack with a Modest nature gives Magnezone maximum attacking power, the 120 Speed EVs let Magnezone outspeed Skarmory and standard Scizor, and the 136 Defence EVs let Magnezone survive a non-boosted Mach Punch from Breloom and OHKO back with Flash Cannon or Hidden Power.
Rotom-W @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtck / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
– Volt Switch
– Hydro Pump
– Pain Split
– Thunder Wave
Specially defensive Rotom-W is usually the MVP of a battle, taking lots of special hits, tanking the attacks from Rain-based teams with ease, and healing most of it off with Pain Split, as well as spreading paralysis with Thunder Wave, crippling opposing sweepers and walls that don’t have Natural Cure. Volt Switch gives me switch initiative, and Hydro Pump with 32 Special Attack EVs gets a guaranteed OHKO on standard Gliscor. Pain Split with Leftovers is Rotom’s most reliable recovery option, and it can also do a lot of damage on high HP Pokemon like Blissey. Thunder Wave is my status of choice, as the speed drop and chance of full paralysis is nice. I used to run Will-o-Wisp to cripple physical attackers and cause extra residual damage, but Will-o-Wisp’s 75% accuracy has screwed me over before. Lastly, the 248 HP and 228 Special Defence EVs let Rotom-W survive a Choice Specs Draco Meteor from Hydreigon and Pain Split most of the damage back.
Latias (F) @ Latiasite
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
– Recover
– Draco Meteor
– Psyshock
– Defog
Latias plays a very similar role to Life Orb Latios, but has the surprise factor, as well as much better defences. Latias helps check Sun teams and various Fighting-types, and she works with Rotom-W to stop Rain teams from gaining too much momentum. 72 HP EVs gives an HP number of 319, which gives Latias a bit of extra bulk. 252 Speed EVs lets Latias outspeed non-scarfed Musketeers, which are a big threat to any team, and the rest is dumped into Special Attack. For Latias’ attacks, Draco Meteor and Psyshock are great dual-STABs, the former putting a heavy dent into anything that doesn’t resist it/have a lot of special bulk, and the latter hits things like Blissey harder than Psychic would. Recover lets Latias stick around longer, especially with Sandstorm recoil damage building up over time. For the last slot, I use Defog cause sandstorm +entry hazards are too much
Excadrill (M) @ Lifeorb
- Iron Head
- Earthquake
- Swords dance
- Rock Slide Evs: 4 hp/252 attack/ 252 spd Adamant (att+ sp att-) Trait: sand rush
Why i used Excadrill instead of Mamoswine? Cause ots way better and its helping on this sandstorm team veryy much.I made some 6-0 sweeps with him cause 1 swords dance amd the whole team of the oponnent will get sweeped. I also wanted someone who is using sandstorm better than Mamoswine.
Closing Comments: Even though I didn’t create this team myself, it has led me to discovering great Pokemon like specially defensive Rotom-W, Choice Specs Magnezone, and offensive Latias. I plan on making new OU teams, which will hopefully feature one or more of these sets. I’ve had a lot of fun using this team, both on Pokemon Online/Showdown.
Anyway give ideas if i should replace pkmn (beside Stoutland) like: Excadrill for Mamoswine or something like that.
