[OVERVIEW]

  • Sawk has access to Sturdy, one of the best abilities in 1v1, allowing it to almost always get off one or two hits.
  • A Choice Scarf set can be used for speed control, and a Z-move set lets Sawk act as a strong breaker. Choice Scarf beats faster Pokemon that Sawk cannot OHKO, while a Z-move
  • Having access to decent coverage moves in Poison Jab, Ice Punch, and Stone Edge allows it to beat a variety of threats.
  • Sawk can be stopped by Fake Out and priority, as it fails to OHKO many Pokemon.
  • Sawk does not have many different options, allowing the opponent to predict its role very easily.
  • Most other Sturdy Pokemon have access to priority which leaves less reason to run Sawk.

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========

  • Close Combat is Sawk's strongest move, capable of 2HKOing most Pokemon which don't resist it.
  • Poison Jab hits Fairy-type Pokemon such as Tapu Bulu, Whimsicott, and Tapu Lele.
  • Ice Punch gives more coverage, especially for Landorus and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Naganadel and Dragonite without Extreme Speed.
  • Stone Edge allows Sawk to always beat every Charizard variant other than bulky Mega Charizard X that has Will-O-Wisp.
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf allows Sawk to almost always get two hits off on any slower Pokemon that does not have priority, and always get one hit off on any Pokemon, even if they have Fake Out or priority.
  • An Adamant nature with 252 EV in Attack maximizes damage output.
  • 252 Speed allows Sawk to outspeed as much as it can, and speed ties with other Adamant Sawk.
  • A set with Jolly nature can also be used, but does not help against any notable threats.
Usage Tips
========

  • Pick Sawk against Pokemon that are likely to be 2HKOed from Sawk's coverage or STAB.
  • Sawk does not have that much bulk, so be wary of Pokemon who will have more than 2 opportunities to attack it.
  • Note that Earthquake cannot 2HKO Magearna after an Iron Defense, so Sawk will always lose to it.
Team Options
========

  • Psychic-type Counters: Pokemon that can beat bulky Psychic-type Pokemon like Slowbro and Mew, which normally beat Sawk, are good teammates. These include Aegislash, Hoopa-U, and Greninja.
  • Wallbreakers: Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini can both break through a lot of the bulkier Pokemon that Sawk struggles with, such as Mega Altaria and Mega Gyarados
  • Stallbreakers: Pokemon which carry Taunt, such as bulky Mew and Tapu Fini, can beat Pokemon which may live a few hits from Sawk and threaten it in return, like Golem and Kommo-o.

  • Close Combat is Sawk's strongest move, and it allows Sawk to have a 190 BP Z-Move.
  • Poison Jab hits Fairy-type Pokemon such as Tapu Bulu and Whimsicott.
  • Rock Tomb lowers the opponent's Speed, allowing Sawk to almost always get a free move off.
  • Ice Punch can be used for more coverage, especially for Dragon-type Pokemon such as Dragonite without Extreme Speed.
  • Laser Focus boosts Sawk's next move by 1.5 times and allows it to break through defensively boosting Pokemon like Magearna.
Set Details

  • Fightinium Z lets Sawk use a 190 BP Z-Move.
  • An Adamant nature with 252 EV in Attack maximizes damage output.
  • 252 Speed allows Sawk to outspeed as much as it can, and speed ties with other Adamant Sawk.
  • A set with Jolly nature can also be used, but does not help against any notable threats.
Usage Tips
========

  • Pick Sawk against slower Pokemon that can be 2HKOed or faster Pokemon that can be OHKOed.
  • One Close Combat and one Z-Move does more damage than one Laser Focus boosted Z-Move.
  • Laser Focus should be used against Pokemon which can set up defensively, like Magearna.
Team Options
========

  • Speed Control: Sawk loses to most faster Pokemon it cannot OHKO, like fast Tapu Lele, and faster Pokemon with Fake Out, like Mega Lopunny and Zeraora. This can be fixed by using fast Pokemon like Mega Blaziken or Serperior.
  • Psychic-type Counters: Pokemon that can beat bulky Psychic-type Pokemon like Slowbro and Mew, which normally beat Sawk, are good teammates. These include Aegislash, Hoopa-U, and Greninja.
[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

  • Choice Band can be used to OHKO and 2HKO more threats, such as Landorus-Therian and Mega Gyarados, but is generally less consistent because it cannot outspeed enough threats.
  • A Bulk Up set can be used, but Sawk generally lacks the bulk to use Bulk Up enough times to outclass Laser Focus.
List some options for the Pokemon user that are plausible but not always recommended due to either being not consistent enough or too outclassed by other Pokemon in the metagame.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Fighting-type Resistant Pokemon**: Pokemon that resist Fighting, such as Mew, Mega Sableye, and Mega Slowbro can all beat Sawk, as they avoid being 2HKOed and can stall out Sawk.

**Strong priority users**: Pokemon which have priority, such as Zeraora, Aegislash, and Donphan can avoid being OHKOed and kill Sawk with a strong move into a priority move.

AM QC check add what you want add remove comment still gonna post mine since I had it mostly done rip. Hope this helps you out!

  • A Choice Scarf set can be used for speed control, and a Z-move set lets Sawk act as a strong breaker.
  • Having access to decent coverage moves in Poison Jab, Ice Punch, and Stone Edge allows it to beat a variety of threats. Add examples of what these moves hit.
  • Sawk can be stopped by Fake Out and priority, as it fails to OHKO many Pokemon. Add example of Fake Out users one I can think of right away is Mega Medicham.
  • Where are the cons? Any Pokemon that is on the VR is predictable (unless its like zard / dnite). I would go into type weaknesses of Sawk and how it has trouble with Mega Gardevoir and Mew. I would also add it has trouble with walls like Mega Slowbro and Deoxy-s as it fails to take care of these before it sets up.
  • Sawk does not have many different options, allowing the opponent to predict its role very easily.
  • Most other Sturdy Pokemon have access to priority which leaves less reason to run Sawk. I think what you are trying to say here is that other Pokemon that has Sturdy or Multiscale like Donphan and Dragonite has priority moves that allow it to take care of Pokemon like a and b which Sawk cannot do.

I never seen a dnite without Extreme Speed, not a good example.
  • Stone Edge allows Sawk to always beat every Charizard variant other than bulky Mega Charizard X that has Will-O-Wisp.
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf allows Sawk to almost always get two hits off on any slower Pokemon that does not have priority, and always get one hit off on any Pokemon, even if they have Fake Out or priority.
  • An Adamant nature with 252 EV in Attack maximizes damage output.
  • 252 Speed with a Jolly nature allows Sawk to outspeed as much as it can, and speed ties with other Adamant Sawk. Add examples of other Pokemon and Choice Scarf users that Jolly Sawk outpaces and which one it can outpace with an Adamant nature. I do not think the last part is needed since it is not adding anything to get the player that is reading this a grasp on Sawk's Speed tier.
  • A set with Jolly nature can also be used, but does not help against any notable threats. I do not think this is needed as Jolly nature will enable Sawk to outpace some Pokemon that Ada Sawk cannot, if there is a roll that can only done with ada sawk, I think it be ok to mention it here.
Usage Tips
========

  • Pick Sawk against Pokemon that are likely to be 2HKOed from Sawk's coverage or STAB. This is really not adding much. I would go into detail here what mons Sawk should want to come up on and what moves beat them. Like Sawk should come out on Jumpluff since it outpaces and OHKOs with Ice Punch. Sawk should come out on both Charizards as Stone Edge will OHKO these. Also mention whimsi since Pjab ohkos it.
  • Add a point about setting Sawk on Ground-types like Landorus-T and Zygarde as Ice Punch beats them.
  • Sawk does not have that much bulk, so be wary of Pokemon who will have more than 2 opportunities to attack it.
  • Note that Earthquake cannot 2HKO Magearna after an Iron Defense, so Sawk will always lose to it. Eq is not a move mention or slashed on the set, so I would just turn this point to a con saying that Sawk's CC fails to take care of Magearna
  • This is pretty bare, I would mention to not set it out against walls like Mega Slowbro, Mega Venusaur or Mega Sableye. I would also mention Pokemon that Sawk fails to beat like Dnite, Mega Gardevoir etc.
  • Add a point about intimidate Pokemon like Mega gyra as its a 50/50 if its gonna mega or not which means clicking Stone Edge is most likely the play.
  • Talk about Choice Scarf users like Haxorus as Ice Punch from Sawk does not OHKO it.
  • I also would add a point about being careful around Pokemon that run counter like Registeel.
Team Options
========

  • Psychic-type Counters: Pokemon that can beat bulky Psychic-type Pokemon like Slowbro and Mew, which normally beat Sawk, are good teammates. These include Aegislash, Hoopa-U, and Greninja.
  • Add a point of mons that can take care of fairy-types
  • Could add Fire-type that help combat Magearna and will o wisp def Mega Charizard X that can help out with physical dnite.
  • Electric-types like zone and zeroara help with Mega bro, fini etc.
  • Lemme be frank, this is not how you write out team options. Take out the part I put in red.

  • Add a part about faster Pokemon like Haxorus and how it can OHKO it thanks to Mold Breaker.
Team Options

  • Speed Control: Sawk loses to most faster Pokemon it cannot OHKO, like fast Tapu Lele, and faster Pokemon with Fake Out, like Mega Lopunny and Zeraora. This can be fixed by using fast Pokemon like Mega Blaziken or Serperior.

  • Add about Electric-types as this helps with Tapu Fini and Zeraora can help out with dnite with fake out + Outrage.
  • Talk about Tapu Fini as a wallbreaker and how it can help pressure Sawks counters from coming out like Deos, Clefable etc.

  • Mold Breaker for Dragonite as Ice Punch beats it, but hinders Sawk from living a hit from Mega Gard.

Mold breaker is counter as well and Haxorus and p common while Mega Pinsir is also seeing some usage to.

Super effective attacks

**Strong priority users**: Pokemon which have priority, such as Zeraora, Aegislash, and Donphan can avoid being OHKOed and kill Sawk with a strong move into a priority move.

  • Sawk does not have many different options Options of what? Moves, spreads, abilities, items? mm I don't think this needs to be added on. By saying 'different options' without specifying, he means he has no other options for anything at all, and specifying what specifically gains no new meaning to this, although you could protest by pointing out Sawk has 3 viable sets of Scarf, Fightinium, and band, with access to tomb/bulk up/laser focus on fightinium, which imo are different options, allowing the opponent to predict its role very easily.
  • Most other Sturdy Pokemon have access to priority which leaves less reason to run Sawk.

  • Close Combat is Sawk's strongest move, capable of 2HKOing most Pokemon which don't resist it. Like what
  • Poison Jab hits Fairy-type Pokemon such as Tapu Bulu, Whimsicott, and Tapu Lele.
  • Ice Punch gives more coverage, especially for both Landorus forms n, Lando-T is bulky, can tomb/bulldoze into z move or eq twice with scarf. Always confirm mus with the damage calc, every time, as well as checking each mu you see with calc and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Naganadel and Dragonite without Extreme Speed.
  • Stone Edge allows Sawk to always beat every Charizard variant other than bulky Mega Charizard X that has Will-O-Wisp.
Set Details
========

  • Choice Scarf allows Sawk to almost always get two hits off on any slower Pokemon that does not have priority, and always get one hit off on any Pokemon, even if they have Fake Out or priority.
  • An Adamant nature with 252 EV in Attack maximizes damage output. Will this beat any threats over my 0 Attack-invested Sawk? Give examples No, if something is just 252 to maximize output, you don't need to say anything further. Only if the evs are tailor made for something specific in mind, although mentioning what you outspeed is useful
  • 252 Speed allows Sawk to outspeed as much as it can Like?, and speed ties with other Adamant Sawk.
  • A set with Jolly nature can also be used, but does not help against any notable threats. If it doesn't beat anything notable, it shouldn't be used. Delete Jolly from your set or find something it could beat over Adamant. This by itself is correct, but what you can do instead as a QCer is double check to see if Jolly Sawk does beat something that ada doesn't, instead of assuming the author knows everything (bc if they did we wouldn't need to qc)
  • Sturdy is used over its other abilities to tank a hit from the opposing Pokemon to get more damage off in hope of a win. Lol what Pokemon specifically? What would you lose to if scarf didn't run sturdy.
Usage Tips

  • Normal types
  • Charizard forms
Team Options
========

  • Psychic-type Counters: Pokemon that can beat bulky Psychic-type Pokemon like Slowbro and Mew, which normally beat Sawk, are good teammates. These include Aegislash, Hoopa-U, and Greninja.
  • Flying-type counters okay but what flying types do you struggle against because of their flying stab? lando T you struggle with bc of intimidate + speed control and high attack, dnite you lose to bc multiscale, you beat char y, alt needs to be fairy to beat you, celesteela you beat if specs, otherwise you hit stall neutrally with cc and only lose bc heavy slam ohkoes at -1. This point sounds right but doesn't hold up obviously, you need to specify. Basically sawk has flying type answers and for this point to make sense you need to be more specific
  • Bulky fairy counters (primarina tapu fini mostly)
  • Wallbreakers: Tapu Lele and Tapu Fini can both break through a lot of the bulkier Pokemon that Sawk struggles with, such as Mega Altaria and Mega Gyarados

  • 252 Speed allows Sawk to outspeed as much as it can, and speed ties with other Adamant Sawk.
  • A set with Jolly nature can also be used, but does not help against any notable threats. Same with band details
  • Reasons for sturdy
Usage Tips
========

  • Pick Sawk against slower Pokemon that can be 2HKOed or faster Pokemon that can be OHKOed. Examples include?
  • One Close Combat and one Z-Move does more damage than one Laser Focus boosted Z-Move.
  • Laser Focus should be used against Pokemon which can set up defensively, like Magearna. What else? Imo just beating Magearna doesn't constitute for making a whole nother main set for this Well, in general strategies designed around beating S ranks are fine to have just on their own. But yes this point is accurate this time, bc Laser Focus can beat other things.
  • Same as cb usage tips, label what Pokemon this can beat with its coverage
Team Options
========

=============

  • Choice Band can be used to OHKO and 2HKO more threats, such as Landorus-Therian and Mega Gyarados, but is generally less consistent because it cannot outspeed enough threats. Give a different example. Mega Gyarados is a 50/50 to whether or not it will evolve.
  • A Bulk Up set can be used, but Sawk generally lacks the bulk to use Bulk Up enough times to outclass Laser Focus. What would this beat over the Laser Focus set? If nothing, remove pls
List some options for the Pokemon user that are plausible but not always recommended due to either being not consistent enough or too outclassed by other Pokemon in the metagame.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Fighting-type Resistant Pokemon**: Pokemon that resist Fighting, such as Mew, Mega Sableye, Tapu Fini, Primarina, and Mega Slowbro can all beat Sawk, as they avoid being 2HKOed and can stall out Sawk. Not mentioning the Water / Fairy duo is a sin

**Strong priority users**: Pokemon which have priority, such as Zeraora, Aegislash, and Donphan can avoid being OHKOed and kill Sawk with a strong move into a priority move.

Mention more things that counter sawk like the ones I listed above

Good analysis overall, facts were correct just you need to elaborate on some points and add on to some things. Good job!
okay so a few points made here were a bit shaky, but thats more due to qc inexperience than anything else. Pls read this one for sure

[OVERVIEW]

  • Sawk has access to Sturdy, one of the best abilities in 1v1, allowing it to almost always get off one or two hits, beating opponents with recharge moves.
He already mentioned a few, losing to fake out/loses against other sturdy mons. Any Pokemon that is on the VR is predictable (unless its like zard / dnite). This is a bit of an overstatement, most mons in the VR can run OOs or alternative sets to make the Mu more prediction based. Being super predictable is a valid con. I would go into type weaknesses of Sawk and how it has trouble with Mega Gardevoir and Mew. I would also add it has trouble with walls like Mega Slowbro and Deoxy-s as it fails to take care of these before it sets up. This bit fine tho

Moves
========

  • Close Combat is Sawk's strongest move, capable of 2HKOing most Pokemon which don't resist it. Add examples
I never seen a dnite without Extreme Speed, not a good example. You're not wrong, but you could have worded this by changing to 'choice item Dragonite', which never run espeed
  • Stone Edge allows Sawk to always beat every Charizard variant other than bulky Mega Charizard X that has Will-O-Wisp.
Set Details
========

I do not think this is needed as Jolly nature will enable Sawk to outpace some Pokemon that Ada Sawk cannot, like what tho if there is a roll that can only done with ada sawk, I think it be ok to mention it here.
Usage Tips
========

  • Add a point about setting Sawk on Ground-types like Landorus-T no, lando-t bops you even w/ ice punch. and Zygarde bruh definitely no, they z move u into espeed and tank multiple ice punchi as Ice Punch beats them. This has been your biggest problem, with both stuff you write and qc checks, you need to get down matchups. Use the calc, test it out on your own, use usage stats, but like probably the most important part of qcing is telling someone what we do and do not beat. Every time you think you beat something, pull up the calc and check, this is the only way you will improve, just get into the habit.
This would be more of a point on Mold Breakers, i can't rlly think of faster choice scarf users that pose an issue to sawk.
  • I also would add a point about being careful around Pokemon that run counter like Registeel. ...

  • Sturdy If this Pokemon is at full HP, it survives one hit with at least 1 HP. Immune to OHKO. b r u h
Team Options
========

  • Lemme be frank, this is not how you write out team options. Take out the part I put in red.

  • Talk about the Mega Gyara mu
  • Talk about using Laser Focus to force 50/50 on Pokemon that run Counter. no
  • Talk about Sawk not coming out vs common Fake Out users like Cham and Zera
  • Add mus Sawk should not come out in like walls, Fairy-types like garde and maybe scarf lele.

**Bulky Fighting-type Resistant Pokemon**: Pokemon that resist Fighting, such as Mew, Mega Sableye, and Mega Slowbro can all beat Sawk, as they avoid being 2HKOed and can stall out Sawk. Maybe make this section just walls since kee berry mew can be a wall.

Mold breaker is counter as well and Haxorus and p common while Mega Pinsir is also seeing some usage to.
How exactly will Mold Breaker Pinsir OHKO Sawk. Aerial Ace? Zen Headbutt? it would either lose to rock coverage on either set or win with reg attack into quick attack

Super effective attacks No. Its a frail boi, super effective attacks don't rlly matter bc everything brings it down to sturdy

**Strong priority users**: Pokemon which have priority, such as Zeraora, Aegislash, and Donphan can avoid being OHKOed and kill Sawk with a strong move into a priority move.

[OVERVIEW]

  • Sawk has access to Sturdy, one of the best abilities in 1v1, allowing it to almost always get off at least one or two hits.
  • mention that its the only fighting type and the fastest conventional sturdy Pokemon, allowing it to play a unique roll in the meta
  • A Choice Scarf set can be used for speed control, and a Z-move set lets Sawk act as a strong breaker. Choice Scarf beats faster Pokemon that Sawk cannot OHKO such as?, while a Z-move this ain't finished bruh
  • Having access to decent coverage moves in Poison Jab, Ice Punch, and Stone Edge allows it to beat a variety of threats.

  • Ice Punch gives more coverage, especially for Landorus and Dragon-type Pokemon such as Naganadel and Dragonite without Extreme Speed. I mean most Dnite have Espeed, seems like a poor reason to run it
  • Stone Edge allows Sawk to always beat every Charizard variant other than bulky Mega Charizard X that has Will-O-Wisp . so, this isn't really true anymore. Flame Charge just invalidates Edge as an option to use against Char X, although you can still catch super slow variants, but they usually run will o wisp anyway, bc they're so bulky. Seems like the only targets of edge will be zard y and dragon dance non will-o-wisp zard x, which is kinda rare.
