move 4: Yawn / Taunt / Helping Hand
item: Leftovers / Sitrus Berry / Safety Goggles
ability: Inner Focus
nature: Bold
evs: 252 HP / 156 Def / 100 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

* Foul Play enables Umbreon to punish physical attackers like Groudon and Dragapult.

* Snarl is used in order to reduce the damage output of special attackers such as Calyrex-S and Kyogre.

* Moonlight allows Umbreon to stay in a match longer and, when combined with its supportive moves, can make it a solid wincon. Sun also boosts Moonlight's recovery.

* Yawn allows Umbreon to put the opponent's team in an unfavorable position by forcing both foes to switch out or be put to sleep. Taunt allows it to prevent Trick Room attempts from Poyrgon2 or Dusclops and sleep attempts from Amoongus or Venusaur. Helping Hand's support is especially appreciated because Umbreon is frequently paired with heavy-hitters, such as Charizard and Venusaur.

* Leftovers gives Umbreon increased longevity and Safety Goggles allows it to stand up to common sleep users in Venusaur and Amoongus.

[SET COMMENTS]

* Registeel is a phenomenal defensive wincon. Thanks to its impressive natural bulk and typing, it can use Iron Defense and Amnesia to better take on and eventually outright ignore threats such as Metagross and Rillaboom as well as Kyogre and Regieleki, respectively.

* Body Press is used in order to deal heavy damage to foes such as Grimmsnarl and Incineroar after Registeel has used Iron Defense.

move 4: Haze
item: Eviolite
ability: Frisk
nature: Sassy
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
evs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpD

[SET COMMENTS]

* Night Shade makes up for Dusclops's otherwise poor offensive presence.

* Dusclops can use Pain Split well thanks to its low HP. This is especially important for crippling foes with high HP stats like Incineroar, Lapras, and Groudon.

* Haze allows Dusclops to prevent the opponent's team from getting out of control by removing its stat boosts. It also removes Intimidate drops from its common partner in Calyrex-I.

* The given EV spread and a Sassy nature allow Dusclops to survive Charizard's sun-boosted G-Max Wildfire.

evs: 252 HP / 204 Def / 52 SpD (this is just the set that I uploaded to the VGC 2019 dex a couple of days ago. no mentions of yawn or taunt are very odd. Leftovers should be given the first slash as well due to its usage. new set should be this)

[SET COMMENTS]

* Foul Play enables Umbreon to punish physical attackers like Groudon and Dragapult, and ignore Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Incineroar with Inner Focus. It can make great use of Moonlight due to its impressive bulk, giving Umbreon longevity along with its Sitrus Berry.

* Helping Hand is ran for Umbreon to support its offensive allies.

* Snarl is used in order to soften special attackers such as Calyrex-S and Kyogre.

(This is just really out of order. Explain what Umbreon's general role is (a bulky wall that sun teams can opt to use). you can keep the point about foul play and snarl, but I'm not sure why you decided to include moonlight and the item in the same line, again with no mention of sun. Take a line to explain the merits of all three fourth moves)

[SET COMMENTS]

* Amnesia allows Registeel to increase its Special Defense to stand up to special attackers like Kyogre and Regieleki more reliably. Protect allows it to keep itself safe and to use Leftovers for recovery.

* Body Press is used in order to prevent Registeel from being passive, and when combined with Iron Defense makes Registeel an imposing wall against physical attackers such as Zacian-C, Rillaboom, and Metagross.

(Set is fine here but I think you can be more descriptive with this. An overview point about how Registeel is a defensive win condition that thrives with screens support from Grimm/Lap is good. I guess I'm okay with the combined points here but please drop the Zacian-C mention. It runs Sacred Sword so commonly that Registeel should not be considered a Zacian check)

IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Def / 60 SpDef

[SET COMMENTS]

* Eviolite improves Dusclops's overall bulk and allows it to reliably set up Trick Room for slower partners such as Calyrex-I and Dialga. (This is pretty unnecessary, people know what Eviolite does. And again not sure why you're trying to combine points here. Just go down the list to make it simple. You can describe all 4 of these moves because I've seen people run attack-less clops for some reason,,,)Pain Split gives it a form of recovery and Frisk allows it to scout opposing foe's items.

* Night Shade gives Dusclops some form of offensive pressure against Pokemon who are close to being KOed. You should explain why Night Shade over other attacks.

* Haze allows Dusclops to prevent the opponent's team from getting out of control by removing their stat boosts. Add a point about clearing Intimidate drops for your own attackers like Calyrex-I.

[SET COMMENTS]

* Due to Umbreon's great defensive capabilities it is appreciated on sun-oriented teams. (This comment needs to be revamped. Mention the benefits of pure dark typing, it's great natural bulk, and why it's good on sun teams)

* Foul Play enables Umbreon to punish physical attackers like Groudon and Dragapult and ignore Intimidate users such as Landorus-T and Incineroar with Inner Focus. (The bolded point is unnecessary, and also Foul Play already ignores intimidate)

* Snarl is used in order to soften reduce the damage output of special attackers such as Calyrex-S and Kyogre.

* Moonlight when combined with sun allows Umbreon to restore two-thirds of its maximum health and allows it to stay in the match longer (add something here about how Moonlight combined with Umbreons other moves allows it to be a win condition in some matches).

* Yawn allows Umbreon to put the opponent's team in an awkward position by forcing them to switch out or be put to sleep.

* Taunt allows it to prevent Pokemon like Landorus-T from setting up. (Umbreon doesn't prevent Landorus setting up with Taunt since Landorus is just faster, mention Trick Room attempts from Porygon2 and Dusclops and sleep attempts from Amoonguss instead)

* Helping Hand allows Umbreon to boosts its partners damage output like Charizard and Venusaur.

(Combine the Yawn, Taunt, and Helping Hand comment in to one comment since they all take up the same move slot )

[SET COMMENTS]

* Registeel is a phenomenal defensive win condition that can wall top threats such as (Pokemon that can't break registeel after it sets up)appreciates dual screens support from partners such as Gigantamax Lapras and Grimmsnarl. Due to Registeels great natural bulk and typing, it can easily set up Iron Defenses and Amnesias in front of Pokemon such as (Pokemon that can't touch Registeel). (You may choose the examples to your liking, just make sure they are somewhat popular and can't touch or benefit off of registeel

* Amnesia allows Registeel to increase its Special Defense to stand up to special attackers like Kyogre and Regieleki more reliably. Protect allows it to keep itself safe and to use Leftovers for recovery. (Protect in VGC is self explanatory, no need to elaborate)

* Body Press is used in order to prevent Registeel from being passive deal massive damage after an Iron Defense to Pokemon such as (Put popular Pokemon that are neutral to Body Press here, maximum 3) , and when combined with Iron Defense makes Registeel an imposing wall against physical attackers such as Rillaboom and Metagross. (Separate Iron Defense and Body Press comments)

(Put the comments in order of the moveset. So Body Press first, Iron Defense next, etc.)

[SET COMMENTS]

* Pain Split gives it Dusclops a form of recovery. and Frisk allows it to scout opposing foe's items. (mention how Dusclops uses pain split especially well due to its low hp)

* Night Shade gives Dusclops some form of offensive pressure against Pokemon who are close to being KOed due to the set damage it can do. Night Shade allows Dusclops to exert offensive pressure. The set damage is really good for Dusclops as it's offenses are rather poor.(sorry for writing this comment for you, but I just didn't like the wording and I couldn't put my finger on a way to make the original sentence sound like it should)

* Pain Split gives it a form of recovery and Frisk allows it to scout opposing foe's items. (repeat)

* Haze allows Dusclops to prevent the opponent's team from getting out of control by removing their stat boosts. As well as It also removing removes Intimidate drops from its own common partner such as Calyrex-I.

* A Sassy nature allows Dusclops to survive Dynamaxed Charizard's sun-boosted G-Max Wildfire.

* Due to Umbreon's great defensive capabilities and its Dark typing, it is appreciated on sun-oriented teams, for its ability to ignore sleep attempts from Venusaur and Amoongus thanks to Safety Goggles. what. safety goggles is the third slash here. in general i think this overview is unnecessary and can be cut.

* Foul Play enables Umbreon to punish physical attackers like Groudon and Dragapult.

* Snarl is used in order to reduce the damage output of special attackers such as Calyrex-S and Kyogre.

* Moonlight allows Umbreon to stay in a match longer and when combined with its supportive moves it can be a solid win condition. mention sun here for boosting moonlight's recovery

* Amnesia allows Registeel to boost its Special Defense sky-high to take on special threats like Kyogre and Regieleki.

Registeel is a really weird case tbh. It clicks boosting moves. you can't kill it. it clicks body press. you die. that's pretty much all there is to it. This is a VERY SPECIFIC case but for this I'm going to say you can trim it down to these two points,
