Rotom-C makes for a decent Choice Scarf user with its solid typing, useful moves such as Trick and Volt Switch, Levitate, and solid stats all-around. While Rotom-C's Speed is average, with the Choice Scarf, it still outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame, other Choice Scarf users like Hoopa, and Speed-boosted Pokemon like Rapid Spin Tatsugiri and Dragon Dance Scrafty. Rotom-C's typing is what differentiates it from other fast Electric-types like Kilowattrel and Choice Scarf Toxtricity, letting it resist moves like Paldean Tauros-W's Wave Crash and Aqua Jet and threaten foes that can absorb Volt Switch like Golurk, Mudsdale, and, most notably, Gastrodon. While Rotom-C shares its typing with Hisuian Electrode, it is the preferred offensive option because it has naturally higher Special Attack, offers different utility moves, and does not need to hold Heavy-Duty Boots; Choice Scarf even allows Rotom-C to make up for its lower Speed. Thunderbolt gives Rotom-C a stronger Electric-type move and a more spammable STAB attack without the need to switch out or worry about stat drops. Discharge can help support slower teammates thanks to its high paralysis chance, and its lower Base Power is almost never a significant drawback. Electric is the go-to Tera type on Rotom-C, improving its ability to wear foes down with Volt Switch and clean up with either Thunderbolt or Discharge. Tera Electric also leaves Rotom-C with no weaknesses and allows it to tank certain moves like Brave Bird from Staraptor and Flamigo.

Rotom-C will often click Volt Switch, letting it form a solid VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Scyther, Staraptor, Gligar, and Bruxish. This momentum ideally leads to the opponent switching a lot, making Gligar and other hazard setters like Duraludon and Qwilfish useful for building up chip damage. Being Choice-locked can leave Rotom-C very prediction-reliant, especially against foes immune to Volt Switch such as Gastrodon, Golurk, and Mudsdale. Gastrodon is especially notable, since it sometimes runs Sticky Hold for an immunity to Trick. Offensive checks to these Pokemon such as Meloetta, Staraptor, and Paldean Tauros-W help ease a wrong prediction, and the first two have pivot moves of their own. Teammates that can lure in and weaken these threats throughout the match such as Goodra, Ambipom, and Copperajah can also help with this. With Grass- and Dragon-types such Decidueye, Virizion, and Goodra resisting both of Rotom-C's STAB moves, it appreciates pairing with checks to them like Skuntank, Galarian Slowbro, and Florges, respectively. In return, Rotom-C offers resistances to some of their threats, such as Ground-types like Mudsdale and Steel-types like Bronzong and Copperajah. A handful of Electric-types such as Rotom-H, Kilowattrel, and Toxtricity also resist both of Rotom-C's STAB moves, so their own checks like Goodra, Gastrodon, and Golurk also come in handy. As Choice Scarf Rotom-C does not outspeed certain boosted setup sweepers like Shift Gear Toxtricity and Shell Smash Minior and other Choice Scarf users like Flamigo, it may be useful to have another form of speed control such as priority users like Extreme Speed Arcanine and Sucker Punch Skuntank. Rotom-C also loses its speed control capabilities after Trick, making these Pokemon even more valuable to have around.

Rotom-C makes for a decent Choice Scarf user, between it's solid typing, useful moves such as Trick and Volt Switch, immunity to Spikes (Just say Levitate as a whole at this point, since the EQ and Spikes immunity is a massive boost.), and solid stats all around. While Rotom-C's Speed is average, alongside the Choice Scarf it still outspeeds the entire unboosted metagame, other Choice Scarf users like Bombirdier and Hoopa, and Speed-boosted setup sweepers like Trailblaze Heracross and Rapid Spin Tatsugiri (Tatsu isnt rly a setup sweeper and hera is not particularly common. Saying it outspeeds naturally fast setup sweepers like Salaz and WetBull is probably better.) . Rotom-C's typing is what differentiates it from other fast Electric-type like Kilowattrel and Choice Scarf Rotom-H (this is terrible, even a nicher mention like Jolteon would be better here.), with utility benefits like neutrality to Stealth Rock, immunity to Leech Seed, and resistance to moves like Paldean Tauros-A's Wave Crash and Aqua Jet. (this is basically type chart stuff and probably does not need to be added.) Offensively, it is able to threaten many volt-absorbers, with Leaf Storm OHKOing Ground-types like Golurk, Mudsdale, and, most notably, Gastrodon. (I like the point your trying to make with this line (the Grass STAB allows it to directly threaten grounds that stuff like kilo cant reliably do), but i dont like how this is worded. This should just be a mention in the first line instead of a full sentence.) While Rotom-C shares its typing with Hisuian Electrode, it has naturally higher Special Attack, offers different utility moves, and does not need to hold Heavy-Duty Boots; Choice Scarf even allows Rotom-C to make up for its lower Speed. (HTrode isnt particularly common and both do pretty different roles from one another and fit on different teams.) Thunderbolt gives Rotom-C a more spammable STAB without the need to switch out (maybe mention any rolls tbolt hits that volt doesnt? for example, bombird isnt ohkod w Volt but IS with Tbolt.) . Alternatively, Nasty Plot can be run to turn Rotom-C into a sweeper or wallbreaker if need be (remove the comma) once it's lost the Choice Scarf via Trick. Trick can also potentially lead to a setup opportunity (or cripple the opposing wall if not NP.), locking the foe (you want to mention examples of what you can trick. Good targets would be stuff like Wo-Chien and Coalossal.) into a suboptimal move. Electric is the go-to tera type on Rotom-C, being especially good if run alongside Thunderbolt for cleaning, while making Volt Switch wear down foes much faster, and, alongside Levitate, leaves Rotom-C with no weaknesses. It also allows Rotom-C to tank certain moves like Staraptor's and Flamigo's Brave Bird. Tera Water gives Rotom-C new resistances to former weaknesses, Ice- and Fire-types like Glastrier and Paldean Tauros-F, as well as neutrality to other weaknesses like Galarian Slowbro, Skuntank, and Scyther Poison (You probably dont need to mention Bug as Bug type attacks arent common if not named uturn. If you do want to add bug, mention Poison and U-turn instead of poison and bug, although idt its needed as rotom-m outspeeds most of the uturners anyways.). However, this does also come at the cost of developing a weakness to Electric- and Grass-types like Kilowattrel, Decidueye, and opposing Rotom-C. (swap the mention of rotom-c and deci around) Tera Grass makes Leaf Storm a strong nuke and somewhat help withs it's Special Attack drop to 2HKO Gligar and Kilowattrel. Finally, tera types like Ice, Ground, Fire, and the previously mentioned Water alongside Tera Blast are a niche option that provides coverage for resists such as Kilowattrel, Toxtricity, Venusaur, and Rotom-H. (too big of a cost to ever run tb imo and can be risky to use.)

Rotom-C will often click Volt Switch, making it form a solid volturn VoltTurn core with other pivots such as Scyther, Staraptor, Gligar, and Bruxish. This momentum ideally leads to the opponent switching a lot, making Gligar, and other hazard setters like Lycanroc (not common on teams rotom finds itself in, mention something else.) and Qwilfish, useful for building up chip damage. Being Choice-locked can leave Rotom-C very prediction-reliant, in a constant 50/50 against volt-blockers such as Gastrodon, Golurk, and Mudsdale. Gastrodon is especially notably since it can run Sticky Hold for an immunity for Trick. (they are all problematic either way + doesnt run sticky hold 100% of the time anyways.) Switchins to these Pokemon such as Assault Vest Meloetta, Staraptor, and Flamigo (not rly a reliable swap to anything here, deci is probably better.) help ease a wrong prediction, and all have pivot moves of their own. Offensive teammates that can lure in and weaken these threats throughout the match such as Goodra, Ambipom, and Copperjah can also help with this. With Grass- and Dragon-types such Decidueye, Virizion, and Goodra resisting both of Rotom-C's STAB moves, it appreciates their checks like Skuntank, Galarian Slowbro, and Florges, respectively. In return, Rotom-C offers resistances to some of their threats, such as Ground-types like Mudsdale and Steel-types like Bronzong. A handful of Electric-types such as Rotom-H, Kilowattrel, and Toxtricity also resist both of Rotom-C's STAB moves, their own checks like Goodra, Gastrodon, and Golurk also come in handy. As Choice Scarf Rotom-C does not outspeed certain boosted setup sweepers like +2 Shift Gear Toxtricity and Shell Smash Minior and other Choice Scarf users like Flamigo and Delphox, it may be useful to have another form of speed control such as priority move-users like Aqua Jet Paldean Tauros-A (meh, not rly speed control. sucker punch bombird / espeed k9 make better examples imo.) and Sucker Punch Skuntank. Rotom-C also loses its speed control capabilities after Trick, making these priority move users even more valuable. That being said, Rotom-C should optimally try to save using Trick for late-game so it can spam Volt Switch as much as possible, although it can also offer setup opportunities if running Nasty Plot. (using trick in the early or mid game is perfectly fine if you are trying to cripple something fast, so this doesnt need to be added.)
