SV OU Scarf Rai

So I've been trying to build teams to no success while learning how to get better at the game. Alot of the times I build a team it works well for a bit then a huge match up issue gets exposed and im like nah I cant have a team this weak to something. This is my latest attempt at building something that works so please give me some tips on what I can do better.

Sets:

:slowking-galar:

Bossanova (Slowking-Galar) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 144 SpA / 96 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic Noise
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
The goat and the mon I never leave home without. I really like Slowking on this team to come in on threats such as Iron Moth, Walking Wake, and Iron Valiant and forcing them out. I like AV more than Boots to give me a sturdier Kyurem matchup as Specs Kyurem can do the dash on this team otherwise. Psy Noise has come in super clutch for me against mons like Sub Moth and Sub Prima.

:great-tusk:

500lbs (Great Tusk) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 104 HP / 140 Atk / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Headlong Rush
- Ice Spinner
- Knock Off
- Rapid Spin
Tusk is the removal of choice for this team helping Gking switch in more often. This spread specifically allows for Tusk to act as an emergency switch in on Bolt and threaten with headlong. Other than that this set is super standard.

:corviknight:

24HRS (Corviknight) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Impish Nature
- Body Press
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
- Roost
I like Corv on this team to provide relief for Tusk against mons that would like to team up and wear it down such as Gambit Moon and Dnite. This mon also breaks balloons for Tusk on mons like Ghold and Pech allowing for pressure to be applied with Headlong without risking Tusk getting statused or taking alot of chip breaking the balloon.

:clefable:

Bad Time (Clefable) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Knock Off
Clefable is the rocker of choice on this team. Looking through OU the only other rockers that arent a ground or a steel type are Blissey Garg and Glimm and I dislike all of those for this team. I like Knock on this mon specifically to make sure its hazards are doing the most it can. Clef can also answer Physical Val sets that Slowking otherwise gets mopped by and that Corv doesnt want to take a CC from.

:darkrai:

Dark Thoughts (Darkrai) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Bad Dreams
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam
- Will-O-Wisp
- Trick
Darkrai serves as good speed control against the Dragon Dancers as none of them other than Pult can outspeed Scarf Rai after a DD boost which allows Rai to threaten with Wisp or Trick. Trick on this mon is to ruin a wall or something after the scarf has finished being useful and also is a form of psuedo item removal.

:ogerpon-wellspring:

Down With Me (Ogerpon-Wellspring) (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ivy Cudgel
- Horn Leech
- U-turn
- Play Rough
Ogerpon is kind of the middle child piece of the team. I wanted another strong physical mon that can pivot to just click a strong move and Ogerpon was the most appealing to me as it didnt have any type overlap and is pretty strong. I chose Horn Leech for more longevity incase Tusk goes down and I am taking hazard damage.

Hello this is a really solid team and I really liked the effort put into it bud id like to suggest some small changes.

1. :rocky helmet: > :Leftovers: on :Corviknight: as this moon will get incorrect often I think you’ll get more value out of helmet to get chip damage out of them.

2. Change :slowking-galar: to pivot whole av is tempting I feel you would value the pivoting capabilities of slowking to safely get in :Ogerpon-wellspring: and :Darkrai: if need be as you currently only have :Corviknight: as a safe pivot.

3. Last charge is just making Ogerpon-wellspring: Swords dance you currently lack a wincon and I feel you just overall benefit more from running sword dance to break bulkier team styles.

These are the only changes I suggest best of luck!

thank you so much for your input. Sorry I couldnt reply to this sooner as I was busy with school and family stuff. For ogerpon do you think its worth going SD trailblaze or just keep horn leech?
