So, I'm trying to develop a new team on Shoddy.

I thought about using a Gyarados+Electivire team up, and I was wondering how a scarfed Gyarados would fare as a starter Pokemon.

Anyway, I'm no expert, but I'd like to see the outcome of your question. I personally think its worth a try, seeing as its already got the 81 base speed. Yeah, it might be worth a try.
 
Alright, I'll just experiment with him a little then.

BTW, I haven't been here for a year; what are the those little badge things under certain people's names?
 
Doubt it would be very useful. He doesn't have a strong enough STAB. What's more he's easily bulky enough to get a DD and actually hurt something.
