Scarfchomp & Friendz

Hello everyone, i've been using Garchomp since it has been released with Rough skin and found quite the nice team supporters for him, i've done quite good with it at: PO, PS and Wi-fi battles on the DS, but i still want some professional ratings on it!

Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Rough Skin
EV's: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Fire Fang
- Aqua Tail
- Earthquake

This guy is basicly the engine of this team, he makes sure to assist the other sweepers & walls and makes a good revenge killer on his quite high speed stat ( outspeeding scarf genesect which is quite common lately is a nice added bonus! ) He basicly sweeps anything with proper predictions but i need quite the defensive assistants to block the quad ice weakness and grass weakness, Deoxys mainly handles these threats but from time to time fails at it.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy
EV's: 252 HP / 176 DEF / 60 SDEF
Relaxed Nature
- Toxic Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch

Forretress does... Yeah set up hazzards & spin, i have volt switch for added momentum for chomp & T. to come in.
He is a defensive set just to take on the CB scizor or any kind of hard hitting priority user. He packs the toxic spikes just to force in poison types or just for the extra hazards.

Tornadus-Therian @ Choice Specs
Trait: Regenerator
EV's: 4 HP / 252 SATK / 252 SPD
Modest Nature
- Air Slash
- Heat Wave
- Icy Wind
- U-turn

He is there to just cleanly K.O. anything with the correct prediction. 121 base speed is nothing to laugh at and only outsped by jolteon in the unboosted tier. He packs the U-turn for extra momentum. I decided to run U-turn over Hurricane just because i rarely use my Tornadus vs rain teams since the risk of the scarf-beamers in rain teams is quite high, even a rain boosted Hydro Pump from a politoed could be highly dangerous. But he can easily revenge kill any potential threat.

Deoxys-Defense @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP / 4 DEF / 252 SDEF
Calm Nature
- Spikes
- Recover
- Taunt
- Toxic

My main supporter of the team, however anything with base 70 speed that packs taunt can shut it down. But he still has the ability to switch into specs attacks and even take physical attacks without a problem. He sets up taunts vs the slower leads and spikes up, the toxic is there to stop life orb sweepers, forcing them to switch into 3 layers of spikes, toxic and stealth rock damage, maybe leaving them with 1 life orb hit most of the time. I run specially defensive because of rain teams able to easily OHKO any counter i have, beside rotom-wash, but i can't take on 3 potential hard hitting special users with it so i had to put in deoxys, and the ability to set up a taunt and spikes is very much appreciated in a quite quick wall.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EV's: 248 HP / 28 SATK / 232 SDEF
Calm Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-o-Wisp
- Pain Split

Another special wall with the capability of taking lots of different typed attacks, with pain split i can hammer the full health switch in or will-o it right away.
He packs the momentum bringin' Volt Switch to support my high-speed Voltturn semi-core. He generally walls all the physical attacks, usually fearing them out or eating a Will-o-wisp right away. I've thought about rotom heat with a scarfed set, but i thought that it wouldn't support Garchomp as much as other scarfers would. I might change him up with a bander/scarfer just to add some offensive pressure on the team, since only tornadus & garchomp really pack a punch at this point.

Breloom @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EV's: 4 HP / 252 ATK / 252 SPD
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Seed
- Low Sweep
- Mach Punch
- Spore

He is my sleep support to put asleep something that could possibly form a threat, he also packs the priority life orb'd technician mach punch able to revenge kill alot that garchomp would fail at prior to other scarfers. Swords dance could be a potential good move compared to low sweep, but low sweep can hammer a fast threat on the switch leaving them at -1 speed easily K.O.'able or revenge killable, since once u get hit with low sweep my tornadus/garchomp will be garantued to outspeed on the following turn. But the extra power on a spore'd target and being able to set up a good mach punch sweep is potentionally awesome.

Now that's my team please give support, possible changes or basicly anything to give it a better flow! I've been having hard times with rain teams mostly once my rotom wash goes out of the game. Additional switches for either breloom or rotom-wash would mostly be appreciated, however forretress is having problems vs sun teams, usually only being able to switch into one of the 6 pokes, who could still 2shot me. Breloom is still good if i'd give him SD, so please give some support and i'd love to try out the suggestions!

Ty vm for reading this!

Hey!

You may want to expand your descriptions a little. Anyway, I saw this RMT was getting no love, so I wanted to give you some help.

I think you have a solid base for your team, so some small changes will be sufficient. First of all, I'd like to see you change Forretress to a Choice Scarf Politoed. Forretress is pretty much a lame duck in this metagame and can't use Spin or Hazards effectively. With Choice Scarf Politoed, you'll have a much better way to support Tornadus-t as well. It also eases Garchomp's job since you'll have dual Scarf users.

With Politoed, I think you should change Tornadus-t's moveset to Hurricane / U-turn / Sleep Talk / Focus Blast. It's really the best Torn-t set in my opinion, and it hits everything you were hitting earlier with more power. Sleep Talk is for the ever-threatening Breloom, and it makes an excellent Sleep absorber in general.

Speaking of Breloom, I'd advise dropping Low Sweep for Swords Dance. I believe Swords Dance has a lot more utility on Breloom and your team. It will give you enough power to push your way through defensive teams, although they are rare. A +2 Mach Punch has the ability to take out frail offensive teams too. Swords Dance is just a really good move.

The last little nitpick I have for you concerns Deoxys-D. I really think you should make a suicide lead. Use Mental Herb as your item and the same exact item. For moves, use Stealth Rock, Taunt, Spikes, and Thunder Wave. It's Deoxys-D's best set in my opinion, and I think your team will be able to take advantage of the hazards effectively.

I wish you luck with your team!
