[SET COMMENTS]
Swords Dance Scizor is a solid priority revenge killer with STAB Bullet Punch to hit faster threats such as Heracross, Pheromosa, and Spectrier. Dual Wingbeat provides Scizor with a Steel / Flying typing, which is a solid defensive typing to maximize its setup opportunities, and allows it to hit bulky Water-types like Mew, Toxapex, and Latias. Additionally, Dual Wingbeat Scizor is able to check threats such as Rillaboom and Landorus-T by threatening to OHKO them. Swords Dance allows Scizor to break past walls like Mew and Toxapex. Roost keeps Scizor healthy against its bulkier checks and allows it to properly check Fairy / Poison Cresselia. Life Orb is used to boost Scizor's power even further and works well in conjunction with Roost. Technician boosts both of Scizor's STAB attacks, which allows it to 2HKO the majority of the unresisted metagame.

Scizor is able to threaten faster threats like Pheromosa, Spectrier, and Tornadus-T, so slower Pokemon like Latias, Hydreigon, and offensive Mew appreciate its speed control. Ground-type partners like Garchomp and Hydreigon pressure some Electric-types that threaten Scizor; it should be noted though that Ground-immune Electric-types like Latias and offensive Mew require these partners to have strong secondary STAB attacks to properly beat them. Scizor is able to complement Ground-types by being a solid offensive check to Rillaboom, though it cannot switch in safely to Superpower variants. While Scizor is able to break past bulky Water-types, they are often able to threaten it out with Scald or coverage options; specially attacking Dragon-type partners like Latias, Latios, and Dragapult are able to switch into these threats without being hindered by Scald burns.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

Scizor can opt for items other than Life Orb to increase its defensive capabilities at the cost of some power; Rocky Helmet can damage physical attackers such as Lycanroc-D and Rillaboom, while Leftovers provides Scizor with passive recovery. Scizor can run U-turn for a pivoting option. This option can either provide Scizor with a Steel / Bug typing, or it can maintain its Steel / Flying typing with Roost in the second moveslot at the cost of not benefiting from Technician. Defog is an option on more defensively oriented sets over Swords Dance as a Defogger with priority, though these sets are outclassed by other defensive Steel / Flying types like Mew and Salamence. Superpower can be used as a coverage option to hit Steel-type switch-ins like Magnezone and Garchomp. Another niche option is Knock Off to hit Ghost-types such as Heracross, Reuniclus, and Latias and remove opposing items. A Choice Band can provide more immediate power to Scizor's Bullet Punch and allows it to pressure its usual checks with U-turn and Knock Off at the cost of Swords Dance and Roost.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Electric-types like Victini, Mew, and Latias resist both of Scizor's STAB moves and are able to OHKO it. Victini and Latias in particular are especially strong checks, as they take minimal damage from Bullet Punch. Electric / Fairy Clefable is still able to OHKO Scizor, though it is more prone to its Bullet Punch. Magnezone is another particularly threatening Electric-type check, as it can trap and OHKO Scizor.

**Offensive Fire-types**: Offensive Fire-types like Heatran, Hydreigon, Volcarona, and Tornadus-T are solid offensive checks, as they outspeed Scizor and resist its Bullet Punch. However, they usually cannot switch into Scizor without the risk of taking massive damage from its Dual Wingbeat.

**Mew**: Mew is a great defensive check to Scizor with both its bulky Water- and Steel-type sets. Water-type Mew is able to check Scizor more effectively than other bulky Water-types, as it is faster than Scizor and can more properly threaten it with Scald or Will-O-Wisp. Steel-type Mew resists both of Scizor's STAB moves but is reliant on Will-O-Wisp to properly beat it.

Roost keeps Scizor healthy against bulkier checks and allows it to properly check Fairy / Poison Cresselia. Life Orb is used to boost Scizor's power even further, which works well in conjunction with Roost. Maybe it is obvious but I feel like Technician boosting its STABs should be somewhere in here. Maybe even just toss in "Technician-boosted" in the first sentence. Also why 8 Spe? Outspeed Melmetal?

Ground-type partners like Garchomp and Hydreigon are able to pressure some of the Electric-types that are able to threaten Scizor, such as Zeraora, Victini, and Mew. Scizor is able to compliment (great job, gound-type teammates!!) complement Ground-types by being a solid offensive check to Rillaboom, though it cannot switch in safely to Superpower variants. While Scizor is able to break past bulky Water-types, they are often able to threaten it out with Scald or coverage options, so special attacking Dragon-type partners like Latias, Latios, or Dragapult are able to ease this threat without being hindered by Scald burns.

Scizor can run U-turn for a pivoting option; this option can either provide it with a new Steel / Bug typing, or it can maintain its Steel / Flying typing with Roost in the second moveslot Maybe mention how this doesn't get the technician boost and makes it overall weaker. Defog is an option on more defensively oriented sets over Swords Dance as an entry hazard removal team option with priority, though it is outclassed by other defensive Steel / Flying types like Mew and Salamence. Knock Off can be run to remove opposing items, though Scizor has to drop one of its more valuable moves for this option (outside of item removal, why does Scizor want to run this? The way it is presented doesn't make it sound appealing for an OO). Mention Superpower to hit Steel-types like Magnezone (on the switch) and others

Checks and Counters
===================

**Electric-types**: Electric-types like Victini, Mew, and Latias resist both of Scizor STAB moves and are able to threaten to OHKO it. Victini and Latias in particular are especially strong checks as they take minimal damage from Bullet Punch. Electric / Fairy Pokemon like Clefable and Zeraora are still able to OHKO Scizor, though they are more prone to its Bullet Punch. Might wanna specifically mention Magnezone here or somewhere. It just owns this set (Electric / Steel versions)

**Offensive Fire-types**: Offensive Fire-types like Heatran, Hydreigon, Volcarona, and Tornadus-T that outspeed Scizor are solid offensive checks, as they are resistant to its Bullet Punch. However, they usually cannot reliably switch into Scizor without the risk of taking massive damage from its Dual Wingbeat.

**Bulky Water-types**: Bulky Water-types like Toxapex (added space)and Slowbro are able to check Scizor and threaten to hinder it with Scald. Though Scizor can potentially break past Slowbro if it sets up Swords Dance, Toxapex is able to Haze its stat boosts. Pex is too slow to Haze first though ( +2 252+ Atk Life Orb Technician Scizor Dual Wingbeat (2 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Toxapex: 298-354 (98 - 116.4%) -- approx. 93.8% chance to OHKO ) Looking through calcs, neither of these seem to be good examples of water-types that check Scizor. Slowbro is OHKO if water/fighting and 2HKO unboosted if neutral typing. Flame Body Water/Ground Coalossal has a better shot than Slowbro to check it. I'd either relook at these examples and make sure they check it well or take this out

**Mew**: Mew is a great defensive check to Scizor with both its bulky Water-and Steel-type sets. Water-type Mew is able to check Scizor similarly to other bulky Water-types, though it is faster than Scizor so it can more properly threaten it with Scald or Will-O-Wisp. Steel-type Mew resists both of Scizor's STAB moves, though it cannot properly beat Scizor without Will-O-Wisp.

Nice work! Let me know about the Water-type checks part, but QC 1/2 once this is done.

I think it should be noted that most of the best Electric type Scizor checks are immune to ground so Ground types need to have some way to punish that in order to complement Scizor well. Scizor is able to complement Ground-types by being a solid offensive check to Rillaboom, though it cannot switch in safely to Superpower variants. While Scizor is able to break past bulky Water-types, they are often able to threaten it out with Scald or coverage options, so special attacking Dragon-type partners like Latias, Latios, or Dragapult are able to ease this threat without being hindered by Scald burns.

Choice Band is an option for all out attacking Scizor. It sacrifices setup for more immediate power on Bullet Punch as well as more ways to pressure it's checks as Knock Off + repeated U-Turns or Wingbeats puts immense pressure on Scizor's usual switchins such as Electric/Flying Mew and Electric/Fire Latias.

Swords Dance Scizor is a solid priority revenge killer with priority (Bullet Punch is always priority, so rephrasing Scizor as a priority revenge killer is more accurate) STAB Bullet Punch to hit faster threats such as Heracross, Pheromosa, and Spectrier. Dual Wingbeat provides Scizor with a Steel / Flying typing, which both acts is as a solid defensive typing to maximize its setup opportunities, (AC) and allows it to hit bulky Water-types like Mew, Toxapex, and Latias (The typing phrase is separated by commas as it’s an aside explaining why that typing is good. The sentence then goes back to second reason for Dual Wingbeat). Additionally, Dual Wingbeat Scizor is able to check threats such as Rillaboom and Landorus-T by threatening to OHKO them. Swords Dance boosts Scizor's Attack stat, which allows it Scizor (Fluff; of course SD boosts attack, should just get to the point of why that’s beneficial) to break past walls like Mew and Toxapex. Roost keeps Scizor healthy against its bulkier checks and allows it to properly check Fairy / Poison Cresselia. Life Orb is used to boost Scizor's power even further, which (RC) and (With “which” here, you’re implying that the power boost is why Roost works with LO. That’s not the case given that Roost mitigates LO recoil, so “and” combines these two points without a cause and effect relationship) works well in conjunction with Roost. Technician boosts both of Scizor's STAB attacks, which allows it to 2HKO the majority of the unresisted metagame. (Proper use of “which” here!)

Scizor is able to threaten faster threats like Pheromosa, Spectrier, and Tornadus-T, so slower Pokemon like Latias, Hydreigon, and offensive Mew appreciate its speed control. Ground-type partners like Garchomp and Hydreigon are able to pressure some of the Electric-types such as Zeraora and Victini that are able to threaten Scizor; (RC and add semicolon) , such as Zeraora and Victini, though it should be noted though that Ground-immune Electric-types like Latias and offensive Mew require these partners to have strong secondary STAB attacks to properly beat them (This was a long sentence that I made more direct and split the “though” phrase up with a semicolon for a better flow). Scizor is able to complement Ground-types by being a solid offensive check to Rillaboom, though it cannot switch in safely to Superpower variants. While Scizor is able to break past bulky Water-types, they are often able to threaten it out with Scald or coverage options, so special attacking Dragon-type partners like Latias, Latios, or and Dragapult are able to ease (switch into?) this these threats (plural to connect with “bulky Water-types”) without being hindered by Scald burns.

Scizor can run U-turn for a pivoting option. This (remove semicolon, new sentence) option can either provide it Scizor with a new Steel / Bug typing, or it can maintain its Steel / Flying typing with Roost in the second moveslot (RC), though this option does at the cost of not get the boost benefiting from Technician (I split the sentence into two sentences and shortened it for brevity). Defog is an option on more defensively oriented sets over Swords Dance as an entry hazard removal team option a Defogger with priority, though it is these sets are outclassed by other defensive Steel / Flying types like Mew and Salamence. Superpower can be used as a coverage option to hit Steel-type switch-ins like Magnezone and Garchomp. Another niche attack is Knock Off can be run to hit Ghost-types such as Heracross, Reuniclus, and Latias and remove opposing items, though Scizor has to drop one of its more valuable moves for this option (Too many “though” phrases in the analysis. I changed it up and also made the sentence crisper). Choice Band Scizor can provide more immediate power to Scizor's Bullet Punch at the cost of Swords Dance and allow it to pressure its usual checks with U-turn and Knock Off at the cost of Swords Dance + Roost. (Moved and completed the movepool changes of the CB set to be together at the end of the sentence)
