We should all know by now that Scizor has gotten Bullet Punch as a new priority attack with the Platinum tutors, it's probably the second most important new move out there, behind Outragemence. Anyways, this team is made to exploit that.

Ah Celebi, the most overused grass type out there. Subpassing is there to fuck Heatran up the ass, literally. The ability to pass a substitute to Dugtrio means that I can kill one of the best anti Scizor pokemon out there with virtually zero risk to myself if the enemy switches it in on Celebi, which is still a somewhat common response to it. Celebi isn't exactly difficult to get in, and doesn't really NEED its other two moves to be a formidable physical sponge should the need arise. Grass knot helps kill the bulky waters that are also threatening a scizor sweep.
