NOTE: This is a variation of a set already posted on-site, it may be best just to merge this concept with the current analysis....

[SET COMMENTS]

Scolipede is chosen for this role because it is one of the fastest Pokemon in the tier, and because it loves paralysis for the 2x buffer to its speed, which destroys the majority of RU sweepers. Plus, Megahorn is the single highest-base powered Bug-type move, and with full investment it can easily KO many weakened Pokemon.

Spikes is the preferred hazard choice, as Scolipede can’t learn Stealth Rock and there are too many Poison-types in RU for Toxic Spikes to be worth putting on a lead.

The interesting part is which coverage move to choose, as Scolipede has a very nice physical movepool (for a Bug-type that is), but it only has one slot available for coverage. Aqua Tail is preferred for Pokemon such as Sandslash and Rock-types, or Earthquake can be used against Magmortar. Alternatively, Rock Slide has good SE coverage with Bug and has good accuracy and a 30% flinch chance, giving you a free turn to land another attack or set another layer of Spikes.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

Slowking is a great partner for two reasons: it destroys any Rhydon without Megahorn, and it can abuse Trick Room being set up by Cofagrigus. Similarly, Spiritomb is also a good partner because it can counter Rhydon (Will-o-Wisp) and is also an abuser of Trick Room, but unlike Slowking, it can hit Cofagrigus with STAB Dark Pulse.

If using a hazards-based team, you can provide more hazards with Scolipede’s partners. Ferroseed, Nidoqueen, Golurk, and Druddigon all have Stealth Rock, while Nidoqueen and Drapion have Toxic Spikes.

Scolipede can be used other than being a lead, but if you do this, including a Rapid Spinner is imperative so entry hazards don’t break Scolipede’s Focus Sash when it switches in.

If you want more bulk on Scolipede to set up more Spikes with greater ease, you can transfer some Attack EVs into HP, but you must not take anything from Speed, because that is what makes this set work.

For a single set you don't need the overview or other options sections. That's only if you're doing the entire analysis. As for the set, I don't really see Endeavor being all that useful over a third coverage move, though Aqua Tail is quite a fantastic addition to Scolipede's move pool. I'm not rejecting this set right now, but please fix the formatting and eliminate any mention of Swords Dance (it has no place on a spiking set).

I fixed the changes you requested. I also wanted to ask which move should be the first slash in the last slot: Aqua Tail, Earthquake, Rock Slide, or some other option?

Aqua Tail and Rock Slide should be the only options with Aqua Tail slashed first. Megahorn + EQ leaves you unable to hit Flying-types such as Moltres, Scyther, Braviary, etc. In addition, Quick Feet is a terrible ability on Scolipede, as it is immune to Poison and crippled by any other status. Not to mention a burned status eliminates your Focus Sash. Make Swarm the only ability on the set, it allows Scolipede to hit extremely hard with a boosted Megahorn at low HP.

That being said, we had some discussion on IRC, and we've come to the agreement that Endeavor is not worth using over a third coverage move on Scolipede, so it will stay OO material.

You're welcome to try your hand at any other analysis that needs a revamp.
