Scolipede posses as an amazing wall-breaking threat thanks to its access to Swords Dance, Protect, Megahorn and Earthquake, which all come together for Scolipede thanks to its ability, Speed Boost which makes it outspeed lots of potentially dangerous opponents in one turn. To set up, you would use Protect if the opponent is threatening, has stab, or is faster, or Swords Dance if the opponent is a tank not capable of doing much damage. Thanks to its set up, it checks Alakazam with bug stab megahorn, possble Cinderace threats thanks to Earthquake, and many other OU tanks and threats. Unfortunately, it's special defense stat is something to be desired, and usually means a 2HKO or OHKO in some cases. It gets destroyed by Corviknight and Skarmory, thanks to its inability to hit them and the flying weakness, and Dragapult may still fast enough to take Scolipede down. Of course, anything else is Scolipedes dinner, and usually it usually makes a good support to mons that a good killer on their team, that don't do that job themselves, like Blissey.
