Scoliteam of Doom

Hey, guys, this is the second team that I am posting here and hope to get good reviews on it. This is a team that I based around my favorite Baton passer, Scolipede. I think he is a great Pokemon and this team is pretty good. So let me know what you guys think and what needs improvement.

Scolipede @ Black Sludge
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Baton Pass
- Protect
- Megahorn
- Swords Dance
This is my Scolipede, the Pokemon that my Scoliteam revolves around. This is a Pokemon that I often lead with. With its access to Swords Dance, Baton Pass, and Speed Boost, it can Baton Pass amazing stat boosts to other Pokemon. Almost all the pokemon on my team can make use of these boosts (except Rotom Wash who only benefits from the Speed Boost, and Ferrothorn who's Gyro Ball becomes weakened by the Speed Boost). Protect is there to get more Speed Boosts, and to help get more recovery from Black Sludge. Megahorn is there so that I am not Taunt bait, and I can still attack and get some KO's. It also helps get some unexpected KO's on Pokemon such as Tyranitar, Lati@t's, Mew and more. I decided to invest EVs into HP rather than speed, since the Speed Boost's would help increase my speed anyways.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Power Whip
Ferrothorn is here for utility, and also acts as a bit of a wall. He offers my team some good benefits. He forces a lot of Pokemon that I might not otherwise want to battle to switch out. He has Stealth Rock so that my team has some hazard support. Power Whip and Gyro Ball are his best STAB attacks, and offer my team some decent coverage. Leech Seed can help against Pokemon that like to stall. My Ferrothorn also acts as a powder move absorber since I hate facing Pokemon with Spore/Sleep Powder. I chose Leftovers over Rocky Helmet because this thing needs better recovery. This Ferrothorn also has good synergy with my other wall, Rotom-Wash. Ferrothorn's main weakness is fire, which Rotom-Wash resists. Rotom-Wash's main weakness is grass, which Ferrothorn resists.

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Brick Break
- Aerial Ace
This Scizor is quite nifty, and can catch people off guard. Since my team has 3 potential Mega's, it can be hard to tell which one I am using and this is often assumed to be the one. But instead I run a Choice Band set. I invest full EVs into HP and Attack for power and bulk. I have Bullet Punch to tear through Pokemon that don't resist it, especially after a Baton Pass boost. U-turn is useful for if I just want to hit and run, and makes a VoltTurn core with Rotom Wash. Brick Break is an often unexpected attack, and picks up the KO on Tyranitar. It is also useful for breaking screens. Aerial Ace is for more coverage, picking the unexpected OHKO on Heracross and more.

Gyarados @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
- Dragon Dance
My Gyarados is one of my main sweepers, and I often Baton Pass to him. He has great coverage, and access to Dragon Dance. Intimidate is useful for weakening physical attackers, and I often switch into this Gyarados after using Volt Switch/U-Turn. Earthquake kills pokemon such as Magnezone and Bisharp which could otherwise pose a problem, and is an overall good move. Ice Fang is there for Breloom, Garchomp, Dragonite, Landorus and more. Waterfall is a great STAB attack with a chance to flinch. Dragon Dance is for boosting my stats to monsterous levels. This Gyarados is almost always used best after a few Dragon Dance's/receiving a Baton Pass from Scolipede. I use a Lum Berry because status conditions aren't nice to have.

Garchomp @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Swords Dance
- Stone Edge
This is my beautiful Garchomp, the beastliest Pokemon on my team. After receiving even 1 Speed Boost this thing becomes a threat. People always complaing about Mega Garchomp saying the speed drop ruined him, but this cures that issue. Nobody wants to face this thing after it has received two Speed Boost's and a Swords Dance (expect maybe Talonflame, which is often the only Pokemon that can kill this thing thanks to its priority Brave Bird). Also most people don't expect this thing to be a Mega, since Mega Garchomp isn't nearly as common as normal Garchomp and I have two other potential Mega's on my team that are far more commonly used. Dragon Claw is a good stab move, hits Pokemon like Dragonite and Hydregion for super effective, and best of all doesn't lock me in like Outrage does. Earthquake is the strongest STAB move on this set, and offers great coverage. Stone Edge is a coverage move that I usually don't like to use unless I have to, but is great for scoring a KO on a Skarmory who might otherwise pseudo haze you out with Whirlwind, and hits other Pokemon hard too. Swords Dance is there if I want to boost my attack even further.

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Rest
My Rotom-Wash is another utility Pokemon that I have on my team, and is a great physical wall. He helps counter some of my teams main threats such as Skarmory and Talonflame, and he is the only Special Attacker on my team. Hydro Pump is very strong STAB attack, and does good damage to Pokemon that are weak to it. Volt Switch it my Electric type STAB and helps me switch out, since I don't usually like to stay in for too long with this thing anyways. Will-O-Wisp is there to annoy my opponents with burn's and cripple their Physical sweepers. I use a Rest+Chesto berry combo on this Rotom for recovery. As stated previously, this Rotom-Wash has good synergy with my other wall Ferrothorn, as they can help cover each other's weaknesses.
Threats to my Team
Physical walls are a big threat to my team, since I mostly run Physical attackers. Also Talonflame can be a huge threat to my team, since 3 of my Pokemon are weak to fire-type attacks and he also can usually KO my boosted Mega Garchomp with Brave Bird. My Gyarados can usually deal with Talonflame though thanks to Intimidate and resisting Flare Blitz. Other threats to my team are Pokemon that can get rid of stats boost such as Skarmory with Whirlwind, Quagsire/Clefable with Unaware, and Pokemon with Taunt. Though I can usually deal with all these threats.
