Scrafty and friends

So I wanted to try out the new Knock Off mechanics with Scrafty and this is the team that I came up with around Scrafty.

Amoonguss, Garchomp, Genesect, Heatran, Rotom-W, Scrafty

Scrafty (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shed Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Atk / 248 SDef
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Rest

With the meta favouring bulkier offence and being chocked full of Will-O-Wisp users a Bulk Up Scrafty seemed like a good choice. The EVs are very simple, there's 8 in attack to OHKO 0/0 Gengar with Knock Off 100% of the time and then the rest goes into special bulk, for obvious reasons. This Scrafty can very easily switch into special pokes such as Rotom-W, Greninja, Heatran, Latias (to lesser extents Latios), Starmie, Celebi, and the list goes on. Of course all these pokes can carry ways to deal with other set up sweepers in the form of status, and this is what the majority of them will try to do when Scrafty comes in, fearing the Dragon Dance set giving you a free turn to set up or Knock Off. Knock Off is what makes this set so much better, in my opinion as even if the opposing team still has counters to Scrafty, the majority will not want to lose their item, so Scrafty is able to lasting damage even without getting to set up.

Of course, this set is obviously walled by Fairy types. However Scrafty can still get off a Knock Off on their switch in to help the team wear down the Fairies for Scrafty to come back in.

Amoonguss @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Clear Smog
- Giga Drain
- Spore
- Stun Spore

Amoonguss is the first form of Scrafty support. It can come in repeatedly, thanks to Regenerator, to tank the Fighting, Fairy and other strong physical hits aimed at Scrafty, while Scrafty can take Psychic attacks aimed at it. It is then able to spread status which greatly aids the team. Spore can incapacitate a problem pokemon while Stun Spore is very useful to allow the team to out speed other pokes, due to its overall low speed tier. Lastly Clear Smog is used so that Amoonguss is not set up fodder for set up sweepers that take little from Giga Drain, though I am tempted to change it to either Sludge Bomb or HP Fire as Amoonguss is mainly used as a defensive pivot anyway.

Amoonguss is completely walled by Ferrothorn, with my set, and while this may seem like a disadvantage it forms a great bait.

Heatran (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 8 Def / 248 SDef
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Roar
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic

Specially Defensive Heatran is used in order to take the special Fairy attacks aimed at Scrafty as well as the Fire and Ice attacks aimed at Amoonguss. It has good defensive synergy with the team and gives the team access to Stealth Rocks, Roar and Toxic, all very useful tools.

Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SDef
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Spd
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp

A mixed wall Rotom is used in an attempt to sure up the gaps in my defensive core and form a strong VoltTurning duo with Genesect. It is my best chance at dealing with pokes that otherwise cause my team a lot of trouble, Infernape, Mamoswine and a few others. The EVs may need some tweaking to work best for my team but as of now it is doing a very good job. It also gets more reliable burns on pokes than Heatran, giving Scrafty chances to set up. The 30 Spd IVs are purely to have a slower Volt Switch than a normal speed Rotom-W.

Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Hasty Nature
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Iron Head
- U-turn

Fairy killer and all around good poke. There really isn't much to say for Genesect, it's offensive presence is very valuable for the team as is the speed that it brings.
Shiny is used to possibly bluff Extreme Speed set.

Garchomp (M) @ Garchompite
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 224 Atk / 32 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge

Finally a mixed Mega-Garchomp is used to provide a lot of wall breaking for the team. It can take some hits, but realistically is going to come in and just hit things until it's killed or forced out. Thankfully Heatran can normally be brought in on whatever forces it out to take a Will-O-Wisp, Dragon, Fairy or Ice type attack. The EVs and nature used give it very good mixed attacking power.

Comments

The team is working very well for me with Garchomp and Gensect putting in a lot of work and then one of the three more offensive pokes tending to clear up.
However there are some obvious flaws that I'd like a bit of help with:
Both of my special walls are fighting weak, Amoonguss and Rotom help here but something like special Mega Lucario can be a real pain.
No priority, I haven't noticed it too much but sometimes the lack of priority (especially with no way to get rid of Sticky Web) is frustrating.
Certain pokes that I cannot wall effectively, out speed Garchomp and Genesect cannot OHKO take a lot of work to get around, so far the main exponent of this I've found is Mega Medicham which can decimate most of my team, and, if it is running Drain Punch, I can only really kill it by the opponent messing up.

So, advise me please.
