Hi guys. I've been working on a team which utilizes screens as well as a baton pass core. Here is the team:
Blue Dragon (Latios) @ Light Clay
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Memento
- Defog
Dracon (Dragonite) (M) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Extreme Speed
Kiki (Klefki) (F) @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Thunder Wave
- Spikes
Atlantis (Manaphy) @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Energy Ball
- Ice Beam
Pinky (Mew) @ Mental Herb
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Iron Defense
- Dragon Tail
Vee (Espeon) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Morning Sun
- Stored Power
- Dazzling Gleam
- Calm Mind
REASONING
1) Latios. I picked Latios as he has access to memento as well as dual screens. After setting up screens, it can memento to cripple the opponent. Latios is also given defog so he can clear any spikes and rocks.
2) Dragonite. Dragonite is given weakness policy as due to multiscale, dragonite is easily given x2.5 attack and 1.5 speed in a single turn after dragon dancing. This way, he can easily sweep much of the opponent's team.
3) Klefki. My backup screener and speed crippler. This guy with prankster just cripples HO teams that rely on speedy hard-hitters. Spikes is there so that he can continue to cripple and opponent's team.
4) Manaphy. It's simple. Tail Glow and attack.
5) Mew. My setup mon for Manaphy as well as Espeon. Baton passing stat changes to either of them is will give both more defensive capabilities, and Espeon a better stored power. Alternatively, the stat boost can also be passed on to dragonite. Substitute during the dual screen memento combination ensures that the sub won't be broken in 1 hit.
6) Espeon. This mon either works brilliantly, or is just useless. After passing on the sub and defense from Mew, Espeon should just CM all the way and morning sun to heal as well. Stored power takes out almost all pokemon and dazzling gleam is for the dark types. I see steel types as formidable walls, but it's ok. This thing after song stat boosts should be able to 2HKO Heatran.
I took about 30 min to craft up this team, thus, it will have many holes in it. Please give some constructive feedback as I try to make a team that suits my battle style. Thanks!
