Scyther's access to Swords Dance and a strong Technician-boosted Dual Wingbeat makes it a scary late-game cleaner when combined with its excellent Speed tier. Scyther's typing grants it an immunity to Ground-type attacks, letting it set up for free on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Krookodile locked into Earthquake, and a 4x resistance to Fighting, letting it take advantage of Fighting-types such as Mienshao. Dual Wingbeat hitting twice allows it to break through Focus Sash users such as Polteageist as well as Mimikyu's disguise. U-turn gives Scyther the ability to pivot out of unfavorable one-on-one situations, is super-effective against Dark-types such as Obstagoon and Tyranitar, and allows Scyther to break through its checks such as Rotom-W. Knock Off lets Scyther hit Pokemon like Jirachi, Chandelure, and Doublade while punishing checks like Rhyperior and Rotom-W early- to mid-game. Furthermore, it lets Scyther remove Skarmory's Rocky Helmet, making it free to use U-turn against Skarmory without damaging itself. Roost can be used over Knock Off if Scyther needs to more easily pivot in and out throughout the game, but the loss of coverage greatly hampers it. Bug Bite is an option on hyper offense teams due to the Technician boost, OHKOing Slowking at +2 for instance, though the momentum provided by U-turn is preferred on other team structures.

Scyther fits best on offensive teams. Entry hazard support can help whittle down the opposing team for Scyther to sweep more easily. Pokemon such as Rhyperior are able to set up Stealth Rock while checking Rock-types that Scyther struggles against, such as Lycanroc-D. Roserade's utility provided by Spikes and Stun Spore helps cripple opposing Pokemon such as Terrakion and Lycanroc-D. Specially offensive Araquanid can lure and wear down Skarmory while also setting up Sticky Web, letting Scyther outspeed potential checks in Terrakion and Cobalion. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Choice Scarf Celebi can form a formidable VoltTurn core with Scyther, threatening the Steel- and Rock-types that Scyther lures in. Choice Scarf Magneton can trap and eliminate Skarmory for Scyther. Toxtricity and Rotom-C are early- to mid-game wallbreakers that can be brought in with U-turn and break down Scyther's checks. Toxtricity appreciates Scyther's ability to lure in Cobalion, which Toxtricity can take advantage of, while Rotom-C can deal with Rotom-W. Offensive Galarian Weezing makes a fantastic teammate for Scyther, as it can lure in Steel-types and damage them super effectively with Fire Blast as well as set up Toxic Spikes, whittling down Scyther's soft checks such as Lycanroc-D and non-Air Balloon Terrakion. Galarian Weezing is able to check one of Scyther's best counters in Lycanroc-D, which will always be able to come in and remove Scyther with priority in Accelerock. Mixed Jirachi is one of Scyther's best teammates thanks to its ability to threaten Scyther's most prominent checks such as Skarmory and Rotom-W with its super effective coverage; Jirachi also appreciates Scyther's ability to safely bring it in through U-turn early- to mid-game on common Scyther switch-ins such as Skarmory and Rotom-W to start wallbreaking, especially with Sticky Web support, which lets Jirachi and Scyther outspeed revenge killers such as Terrakion and Keldeo.

Access to Technician boosted Dual Wingbeat, I'd put something in this paragraph (not right here necessarily but like after this bit) about how every non-Skarmory flying resist is vulnerable to Scyther's coverage, while Skarmory is easily taken advantage of by U-turn an immunity to ground type attacks, and a quad resist to fighting, Talk about why these two qualities are useful in the current metagame to Scyther, instead of just listing a type chart. along with a good speed tier what does this speed tier allow Scyther to do? make sure to comment on the early-to-mid game stuff the speed allows too. help Scyther establish a niche as a late game cleaner with the ability to wear down it's checks and counters make sure to comment on 1-2 of said checks and counters here early to mid game through Knock Off and U-turn pivoting. Swords Dance allows Scyther to sweep through weakened teams, OHKOing offensive Jirachi with Knock Off, and Tyranitar with U-turn after the boost. fluff Dual Wingbeat is Scyther's primary STAB move and is boosted by Technician, making it effectively a recoil free Brave Bird, allowing Scyther to clean up a weakened team in the end game. Dual Wingbeat hitting twice allows it to break through Focus Sash's and Mimikyu's disguise as well. you can probably tie my above comment about flying resists into this section if you wanted Knock Off allows Scyther to hit Psychic type's such as Jirachi and Slowking super effectively without the need to switch out, Doublade too along with the benefit of removing recovery items such as Rhyperior's leftovers. Put more emphasis on the early-game benefits of knocking off a Rhyperior or a Rotom-W's leftovers, and mention how knocking off skarmory's rocky helmet makes pivoting around wtih u-turn much more free. U-turn gives Scyther the ability to pivot out of unfavorable one-on-ones as well as being super-effective against dark types such as Obstagoon and Tyranitar. Definitely mention how it allows Scythe to braek through Pokemon like Rotom-W too. Scyther's typing allows it to set up on choice-locked pokemon such as Krookodile locked into Earthquake and Terrakion locked into Close Combat. Don't really take issue to the latter mention, an example more relevant than Choice locked Krookodile would be nice though when Rocks krookodile makes up a vast majority of its usage (and mostly runs smack down which you don't want to take). Scyther's speed tier allows it to outspeed Jirachi and Kyurem, enabling it to pivot out with U-turn before damage can be inflicted or ko them if they're weak enough. This stuff should be in the beginning.

Scyther fits best on offensive teams that are able to overwhelm it's checks and counters as well as weakening the opposing team, giving Scyther the opportunity to clean up late game. this sentence is pretty fluffy really, it doesn't really tell me anything more then saying "scyther fits best on offensive teams" does. entry hazard support can help whittle down the opposing team to within range of Scyther to sweep, while sticky webs can enable Scyther to outspeed opposing Terrakion and Keldeo. Pokemon such as Rhyperior, Araquanid and Roserade are appreciated for their ability to set up aformentioned entry hazards. This should be split up to talk about the different styles separately. I'd make Sticky Web a separate section at the end too where you can talk about some other teammates that are well primed to pair with Scyther like Mixed Jirachi. Scyther struggles against opposing Steel and Rock types, such as Lycanroc and Skarmory, so teammates that can lure or trap them pair well with Scyther. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, and Keldeo can set up a formidable Volt-Turn core with Scyther, threatening the steel and rock types that Scyther lures in. Magneton can also set up a volt turn core with Scyther while also trapping and eliminate Skarmory and Copperajah. I wouldn't bother mentioning Copperajah here, magneton doesn't rly trap it amazingly, its not particularly common, and Scyther already does a lot to it with Knock and U-turn anyway. You should instead talk about Scarf Magneton being able to trap Cobalion brought in by Scyther's U-turn, removing one of Scyther's better checks from play. Galar Weezing makes a fantastic teammate for Scyther as it can lure in Steel type's and damage them super-effectively with Fire Blast clarify offensive Weezing if this is what you are talking about here. as well as set up Toxic Spikes. i'd also give some focus to how weezing, especially defensive, checks Lycanroc-D for Scyther, one of Scyther's best checks that doesn't even care about webs being up. Toxic Spikes also don't really effect Scyther's performance very much, all of its best checks like Cobalion, Rotom-W, and Skarmory are completely unaffected by them. Try and explain here why Toxic Spikes are helpful, like punishing soft checks like Terrakion / Lycanroc-D.

So as I briefly mentioned before you should talk about Mixed Jirachi in this section as one of Scyther's absolute best teammates, since it threatens all of its best checks like Skarmory and Washtom.

Include some early-to-mid game wallbreakers in this section that appreciate Scyther's pivot support and can break down Skarmory and Rotom-W. Consider options like Toxtricity, Rotom-M, Kyurem.

Elaborate a bit more on Sticky Webs, talk about how special Araquanid helps break Skarmory and wear down Rotom-W, while Sticky Webs lets Scyther outspeed a lot of would be checks like Cobalion and Terrakion.

Access to Technician boosted Dual Wingbeat, along with a typing that grants it an immunity to common ground type attacks, and a quad resist to fighting, letting Scyther take advantage of pokemon locked into Close Combat, As i said you should talk about why this is actually useful with concrete examples, so you can talk about how it can take advantage of Mienshao, Ground-type immunity wise you can talk about taking advantage of scarf krook i guess, (make sure you are specific if you use krook as an example, rocks krook runs smack down a lot so you can't rly set up on that, and you cant switch into (scarf) krook either, so you need to word this well) along with a speed tier that allows it to outspeed Jirachi and Kyurem, enabling it to pivot out with U-turn before damage can be inflicted or ko them if they're weak enough, help Scyther establish a niche as a late game cleaner with the ability to wear down it's checks and counters, such as Rhyperior and Skarmory early to mid game through Knock Off and U-turn pivoting. this sentence is incredibly hard to digest due to its massive length, more of a GP thing but it'll make it much easier to read if you split tis up into a few sentences. Swords Dance allows Scyther to sweep through weakened teams This is currently just fluff without including some more relevant detail about what it sets up on, ie. move (*) up here.. Dual Wingbeat is Scyther's primary STAB move and is boosted by Technician, making it effectively a recoil free Brave Bird, allowing Scyther to clean up a weakened team in the end game. cut this bit and merge the next sentence into this one. Dual Wingbeat hitting twice allows it to break through Focus Sash's list some actual relevant examples here and Mimikyu's disguise as well. Scyther's coverage moves allows it to threaten every flying resist in the tier with the exception of Skarmory. Knock Off allows Scyther to hit pokemon such as Jirachi, Slowking, and Duoblade super effectively without the need to switch out, along with the benefit of removing recovery items such as Rhyperior and Rotom-W's leftovers, causing them to be slowly chipped down early- to mid-game without passive recovery, along with Skarmory's Rocky Helmet, allowing Scyther to U-turn on it without being punished. You can cut this down a lot to something like "Knock Off lets Scyther hit Pokemon like Jirachi, Slowking, and Doublade, while punishing checks like Rhyperior and Rotom-W early-to-mid game. Furthermore, it lets Scyther remove Skarmory's Rocky Helmet, making it free to U-turn against." U-turn gives Scyther the ability to pivot out of unfavorable one-on-ones, is super-effective against dark types such as Obstagoon and Tyranitar, and allows Scyther to break through it's checks such as Rotom-W. Scyther's typing allows it to set up on grass types like Tsareena Tsareena is not particularly relevant anymore, you could talk about Celebi/Roserade instead if you wanted. and choiced pokemon such as Mienshao and Terrakion locked into Close Combat. This should go up here (*)

Scyther fits best on offensive teams, it's typing presents a much needed immunity to ground, reality is its not the most useful ground immunity for offensive teams compared to something like a mowtom/washtom, it just absolutely can't switch into krookodile without fearing Knock/Smack down massively. along with being a threatning cleaner late game. Entry hazard support can help whittle down the opposing team to within range of Scyther to sweep, while sticky webs can enable Scyther to outspeed opposing Terrakion and Keldeo. Pokemon such as Rhyperior are able to set up Stealth Rocks, while also checking the Rock types that Scyther struggles against, such as Lycanroc. Roserade's utility provided by Spikes and Stun Spore, help cripple opposing pokemon examples?. Special Araquanid can lure and wear down Skarmory and Rotom-W, for clarities sake this makes it sound like you are luring Washtom when you really don't anony it that much while also setting up Sticky Webs letting Scyther outspeed potential checks in Terrakion and Cobalion. Scyther struggles against opposing Steel and Rock types, such as Lycanroc and Skarmory, so teammates that can lure or trap them pair well with Scyther. you basically make this same point again in the next sentence, just clarify them by name in the next one. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, and Keldeo can set up a formidable Volt-Turn core with Scyther, threatening the steel and rock types that Scyther lures in. See neither of these are going to just switch into Lycanroc too safely, and both need to be fairly healthy if they aren't scarfed to even check it at all. Add another example that deals with Lycanroc or talk about scarfs as an option here. Scarf Magneton can also set up a volt turn core with Scyther while also trapping and eliminate Skarmory and Cobalion brought in by Scyther's U-turn, eliminating two of Scyther's best checks. Kyurem and Toxtricity appreciate Scyther's ability to safely bring them in through U-turn, early- to mid-game, on common Scyther switch-ins such as Skarmory and Rotom-W and start wallbreaking. remove Kyurem from this and put this point with Jirachi. You can talk about how Toxtricity is able to take advantage of Cobalion too. (Kyurem is rising to OU in a few days and this lets you target the point more to checking Coba too). Galar Weezing as i said make sure to clarify offensive here makes a fantastic teammate for Scyther as it can lure in Steel type's and damage them super-effectively with Fire Blast as well as set up Toxic Spikes, whittling down Scyther's soft checks such as non-Air Balloon Terrakion and Lycanroc-D make lycan the first mention since its the more relevant target until they cannot switch in safely anymore. They don't switch in anyway. What it does do is put them on a timer when they try to revenge kill Scyther, which between any other hazards + stacking LO and poison on lycanroc will kill it very very quickly. Galar Weezing is able to check one of Scyther's best counterplays in Lycanroc-D, which will always be able to come in and remove Scyther with priority Accelrock, so having a way to check it is extremely helpful. Mixed Jirachi is one of Scyther's best teammates make sure to talk about how this combo is very effective on sticky web teams especially. with it's ability to threaten Scyther's most prominent checks such as Skarmory and Rotom-W with super effective coverage, and can be brought in to start wallbreaking through Scyther's U-turn.

Sorry for taking so long to get back on this second check, I had a lot of stuff going on irl.

Please make sure to cut down on the verbose nature of the text due to its current length. I gave some suggestions in a few places on how to do this and removed some fluff, but please make sure to read through this yourself and trim it down further. In future also make sure to give examples when you talk about stuff like Roserade crippling things with Stun Spore or talk about resistances instead of listing off a type chart.

QC 1/2.

ok i've cut some fluff out and made the changes you've requested. Thanks alot :) should be ready for QC 2

you should open this up with a line about what actually makes scyther so effective, not a line about its typing. first sentence should be something like "Scyther's access to Swords Dance and a strong Technician-boosted Dual Wingbeat makes it a scary late-game cleaner when combined with its excellent Speed tier."
Scyther's typing grants it an immunity to common ground type Ground-type attacks letting Scyther setup for free on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Krookodile locked into Earthquake, and a quad resist quadruple resistance to fighting Fighting, letting Scyther take advantage of fighting types Fighting-types such as Mienshao. remove the double space here Scyther's speed tier allows it to outspeed Jirachi and Kyurem, enabling it to pivot out with U-turn before damage can be inflicted or ko them if they're weak enough. These trait's along with Scyther's access to Technician boosted Dual Wingbeat, help Scyther establish a niche as a late game cleaner with the ability to wear down it's checks and counters, such as Rhyperior and Skarmory early to mid game through Knock Off and U-turn pivoting. Swords Dance along with Scyther's typing allows it to set up on grass types like Celebi and Roserade. i know this looks super harsh but this can all be covered in one concise sentence, atm it's quite awkward to read - the new sentence i'm having you add at the start should help with this Dual Wingbeat is Scyther's primary STAB move and is boosted by Technician, allowing Scyther to clean up a weakened team in the end game. Dual Wingbeat hitting twice allows it to break through Focus Sash users such as Polteageist and Mimikyu's disguise as well. Knock Off lets Scyther hit Pokemon like Jirachi, Slowking slowking is weak to u-turn, consider a mention like chandelure here, and Doublade, while punishing checks like Rhyperior and Rotom-W early-to-mid game. Furthermore, it lets Scyther remove Skarmory's Rocky Helmet, making it free to U-turn against without damaging itself. add a mention to Bug Bite here, it can be used on hyper offense teams that dont really need skarmory uturning around and lets it ohko stuff like slowking at +2 without switching out, mention why it's restricted to ho tho (uturn's better on other offenses for momentum purposes)
also add a roost mention over knock off so that you can more easily pivot in and out throughout the game, losing coverage sucks tho so mention that

Scyther fits best on offensive teams, it's typing presenting a switch in to passive Stealth Rock users such as Pallosand, this isn't relevant and scyther doesn't want to come in on palossand anyway along with being a threatening cleaner late game. Entry hazard support can help whittle down the opposing team to within range of Scyther to sweep, while sticky webs can enable Scyther to outspeed opposing Terrakion and Keldeo. (you mention this later so it's not needed here) Pokemon such as Rhyperior are able to set up Stealth Rock, while checking Rock types that Scyther struggles against, such as Lycanroc-D. Mixed Jirachi is one of Scyther's best teammates with it's thanks to its ability to threaten Scyther's most prominent checks such as Skarmory and Rotom-W with its super effective coverage,(RC) while appreciating ;(ASC) Jirachi also appreciates Scyther's ability to safely bring it in through U-turn,(RC) early- to mid-game on common Scyther switch-ins such as Skarmory and Rotom-W and to start wallbreaking, especially with Sticky Web support,(AC) which lets Jirachi and Scyther outspeed revenge killers such as Terrakion and Keldeo.

[SET COMMENTS]
Scyther's access to Swords Dance and a strong Technician-boosted Dual Wingbeat makes it a scary late-game cleaner when combined with its excellent Speed tier. Scyther's typing grants it an immunity to common Ground-type attacks, letting it set up for free on Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Krookodile locked into Earthquake, and a 4x resistance to Fighting, letting Scyther it take advantage of Fighting-types such as Mienshao. Dual Wingbeat hitting twice allows it to break through Focus Sash users such as Polteageist and Mimikyu's disguise as well as well as Mimikyu's Disguise. U-turn gives Scyther the ability to pivot out of unfavorable one-on-one situations, it's super-effective is super effective against Dark-types such as Obstagoon and Tyranitar, and allows Scyther to break through its checks such as Rotom-W. Roost can be used over Knock Off if Scyther needs to more easily pivot in and out throughout the game, but the loss of coverage greatly hampers Scyther it.

Roserade's utility provided by Spikes and Stun Spore helps cripple opposing Pokemon such as Terrakion and Lycanroc (-D?). Special (specially offensive or defensive?) Araquanid can lure in and wear down Skarmory while also setting up Sticky Web, letting Scyther outspeed potential checks in Terrakion and Cobalion. Pokemon such as Rotom-W, Keldeo, and Choice Scarf Celebi can set up form a formidable VoltTurn core with Scyther, threatening the Steel- and Rock-types that Scyther lures in. Choice Scarf Magneton can trap and eliminate Skarmory for Scyther. Toxtricity and Rotom-C are early- to mid-game wallbreakers which that can be brought in with U-turn and break down Scyther's checks. Toxtricity appreciates Scyther's ability to lure in Cobalion, which Toxtricity can take advantage of, while Rotom-Mow Rotom-C can deal with Rotom-W. Offensive Galarian Weezing makes a fantastic teammate for Scyther, as it can lure in Steel-type's (remove apostrophe) and damage them super effectively with Fire Blast as well as set up Toxic Spikes, whittling down Scyther's soft checks such as Lycanroc-D and non-Air Balloon Terrakion.
