Heavy-Duty Boots is another option to circumvent Chien-Pao's Stealth Rock weakness, along with making it immune to Sticky Web and letting it run Sword of Ruin for a similar power boost to Life Orb. Throat Chop shuts down Boomburst Scream Tail and denies Parting Shot from Pecharunt. Chien-Pao can also be forced out by faster Special Attacker, especially Psychic Surge Deoxys-S and Choice Scarf Azelf that are protected from Chien-Pao's priority moves personally a bit conflicted by this sentence, its essentially just these 2 offensive mons that are okay with coming in since they arent scared of shard / sucker, maybe you could change it to "psurge users like ... can threaten pao without fear of its priority; therefore ..." ?; therefore, specially defensive walls such as Manaphy, Swampert, and Iron Treads are appreciated.
