Swords Dance Urshifu-R becomes a powerful wallbreaker after a single boost, threatening common metagame threats like Gliscor, Ferrothorn, Landorus-T, and Heatran with its power and coverage. Surging Strikes even has the additional merit of bypassing Defense boosts from the likes of Zamazenta, Garganacl, and Great Tusk. Trailblaze is the recommended move for the last slot as it allows Urshifu-R to avoid revenge killing from naturally fast Pokemon such as non-Booster Energy Iron Boulder, Tapu Koko, and Choice Scarf Tapu Lele. Thunder Punch is an alternative that threatens Pokemon like Toxapex, Slowbro, and Alomomola. Tera Steel is advised for preventing revenge killing from the likes of Tornadus-T, Iron Valiant, and Tapu Lele. If using Thunder Punch, however, Tera Electric is recommended to meaningfully threaten Toxapex, Slowbro, and Alomomola, notably letting Urshifu-R OHKO Toxapex and Alomomola with Tera Electric Thunder Punch after a boost. Punching Glove is recommended to ignore problematic abilities like Rough Skin, Iron Barbs, Static, and Flame Body, from Pokemon like Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Zapdos, and Moltres, when using Surging Strikes or Thunder Punch. Urshifu-R has a hard time sweeping, especially without Trailblaze, so defensive options to fall back on like Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, Garganacl, and Zapdos are appreciated. Variants without Thunder Punch struggle against common Water-types like Toxapex and Dondozo, so special wallbreakers that can force them out such as Raging Bolt and Tapu Koko are good teammates.

Swords Dance Urshifu-R becomes a powerful breaker after a single boost, threatening would be checks like Toxapex, Slowbro, and Alomomola with its power and coverage. this part should be lumped in with reasons why tpunch is good, instead include how it threatens natural defensive cores featuring, landoT, heatran, glisc, ferro with its stab Surging Strikes even has the additional merit of bypassing Defense boosts from the likes of Zamazenta, Garganacl, and Great Tusk. Thunder Punch is the recommended move for the fourth slot, as it provides an answer to the aforementioned Toxapex, Slowbro, and Alomomola. Aqua Jet and Trailblaze are the other options for preventing threats such as Mega Diancie and Iron Boulder from revenge killing it. Tera Electric Thunder Punch from a boosted Urshifu-R almost OHKOes Alomomola, while taking out Slowbro and Specially Defensive Toxapex. Tera Water can be used for boosting the damage output of Surging Strikes and Aqua Jet, and Tera Steel can be used to allow Urshifu-S to set-up easier. trailblaze is the premier option for the last slot, mention how it should be used with tera steel to allow setup on mola and prevent rkill attempts from ival/lele while outspeeding them afterwards. Tpunch part is fine (altho pdef pex still dies to tera electric tpunch, not just spd), it just needs to be reordered as the second option, since Trailblaze is definitely the best rn. Cut tera water, not very good. Punching Glove is recommended to ignore problematic abilities like Rough Skin, Iron Barbs, Static, and Flame Body, from Pokemon like Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Zapdos, and Moltres when using Surging Strikes or Thunder Punch, while also retaining a boost to Urshifu-R's attacks. additionally increasing their power, notably letting Urshifu-R OHKO Toxapex with Tera Electric Thunder Punch after Swords Dance. Despite its great breaking power, Urshifu-R isn't as strong, and struggles to break through walls without a boost from Swords Dance or Tera. Therefore, Pokemon with pivoting, such as Tornadus-T, Landorus-T, and Alomomola can give Urshifu-R the chance to set-up. Even with a Swords Dance boost Urshifu still struggles with OHKOing its biggest counters. Therefore, entry hazards from the likes of Gliscor, Great Tusk, and Ferrothorn are appreciated. every shifu counter uses boots, so hazards dont do anything to help with that. Shifu is also quite strong w/o tera or SD factored in. You could instead talk about how it may struggle to find its footing versus offensive teams especially without trailblaze, so a backbone consisting of [xxx], [yyy], [zzz] that can cover its weakness to mons commonly found on these structures like koko, dnite, and raging bolt are helpful. You can mention how trailblaze variants struggle to break through Toxapex and Dondozo, so teammates who can assist with or take advantage of them like raging bolt and tapu lele work well.

Urshifu-R has a hard time sweeping, especially without Trailblaze, so defensive options to fall back on clarity, feel free to edit the wording if i understood this wrongly like Ferrothorn, Mega Scizor, Garganacl, and Zapdos are appreciated.
