Hello there, I'm new to smogon but have been battling for a few years in the ou tier. I have a team right now based on Altaria stall and works great; but there are pokemon out there it had trouble handling. That's where this team comes in.
Lead
Sableye Sablenite
Prankster/Magic Bounce
Calm(248 HP/200 Def/60 Sdf)
-Will o Wisp
-Recover
-Knock Off
-Shadow Ball

Leading with Sableye almost always ensures that entry hazards won't be up by turn one. Will-o-Wisp can be alternatively used with Prankster to cripple offensive leads. Knock Off and shadow ball are both STAB,but serve different roles.

Support
Clefable Leftovers
Magic Guard
Calm(252 HP/172 Def/84 Sdf)
-Wish
-Flamethrower
-Moon Blast
-Calm Mind

Given a defensive spread gives Clefable a lot of free space to use Calm Mind and transform itself into a special behemoth. Wish supports the team for those susceptible to taking a lot of damage with no way of recovering.

Pivot
Rotom-Wash Lum Berry
Levitate
Bold(248 HP/252 Def/8 Sdf)
-Volt Switch
-Hydro Pump
-Rest
-Thunder Wave

The last of my defensive pokemon, giving me a plethora of immunities to boast. This pokemon is great in conjunction with my Talonflame since it knows U-Turn.

Sweeper
Talonflame Choice Band
Gale Wings
Adamant(252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe)
-Steel Wing
-Brave Bird
-Flare Blitz
- U Turn

My offensive sweeper. Sableye helps stop SR from being set up which is key to a successful sweep. Choice Band Adamant Brave Bird hits incredibly hard even on things that resist it. The Rest of the moves are there as cover moves and are among the few options it carries.

Special Sweeper
Landorus Life Orb
Sheer Force
Timid(4 Def/252 SpA/252 Spe)
-Knock Off
-Sludge Wave
-Earth Power
-Focus Blast

Landorus gives my team even more important immunities at the price of a big weakness to ice. Oh well. The set helps Landorus outspeed a lot of offensive threats. Wish support from Clefable makes the Life Orb worth while on the set, as Landorus doesn't fear coming in on quite a few moves.

Counter Sweeper
Gyarados Leftovers
Intimidate
Adamant(88 HP/192 Atk/4 Def/192 Spe)
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Bounce
-Taunt

Gyarados with intimidate works best for this team as it gives my team a lot more opportunities to gain back momentum. Waterfall and Bounce hit STAB, and still incredibly hard without a full 252 investment. Instead, the set is bulky to allow Gyarados some room to set up a sweep or Taunt the foe out of a set up.

So that's my team, any comments, criticisms, and complaints welcome. I'm trying to become better so any advice will benefit me!

Hey espeonguy, grats on your first RMT. I have a few suggestions that will improve your team. Drop Rotom's Lum Berry and give it a Chesto berry, this way if you get statused your item won't activate you will still be able to use rest when needed. Make this your set:

Rotom-Wash @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 214 Def / 44 Spe
Bold Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Volt Switch
- Thunder Wave
- Rest

You'll want the extra speed EVs in order to outspeed other Rotoms and Belly Drum Azumarill. I recommend swapping Sludge Wave for Stealth Rock on Landorus, since you don't have a hazard setter. You'll need a defogger or spinner to get rocks off of the field for Talonflame, relying on Sableye 100% of the time is a bad idea. Also Wish on Clefable without protect is a bit risky, as it will not be guaranteed to receive the recovery it needs. Please consider this set:

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 SpD
- Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Soft-Boiled
- Flamethrower

Your team is fairly weak to fairies, such as Mega Gardevoir and Altaria. I suggest you drop Sableye for Mega Metagross and Gyarados for Latias, These two mons will work much better with this team. The sets:

Metagross @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake/Hammer Arm
- Zen Headbutt
- Bullet Punch/Grass Knot

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 72 HP / 184 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Defog
- Healing Wish/Roost

That's all I have for now. I tried to help as much as I could without completely changing your team, I'll let you know If I think of anything else that will improve the team.

Hi there, welcome to Smogon! Unfortunately your descriptions for each Pokemon are not up to the standard as required by the RMT rules. You need to provide an in-depth description of each Pokemon to explain your choices and their roles. Please read the rules carefully and take a look at other RMTs and the RMT archive to see the kind of detail and format we require before posting a thread here. PM me with updated descriptions once you review the rules and I'll reopen this thread.
