Under rain, Seismitoad can outspeed a good portion of the metagame, including Zacian-C, Eternatus, and Modest Shell Smash Polteageist. In addition, it has an interesting niche in being one of the few offensive Water-types to learn Stealth Rock and have an immunity to Electric-type moves. When rain is active, Hydro Pump is Seismitoad's main STAB of choice, which 2HKOes a good portion of the metagame, including Gothitelle, Galarian Corsola, and Corviknight after Stealth Rock damage, to name a few examples. In addition, it notably OHKOes Quagsire that may try to cripple or set up on it. Earth Power can actually OHKO Toxapex, Zacian-C, and Life Orb Eternatus, after Stealth Rock damage. Focus Blast is essential for countering Ferrothorn, but try to see if it has Power Whip first; it can also be used to take down Hydreigon after Stealth Rock damage and to potentially 2HKO Lapras. Alternatively, you can opt to run Sludge Wave, which can better and more accurately deal with foes such as Hatterene, Zacian, and Clefable, but be careful, as this makes Seismitoad unable to deal with Ferrothorn as effectively. Seismitoad also works well at setting Stealth Rock effectively, since it can scare away Tyranitar, Torkoal, and Hippowdon on a switch to set up its own entry hazards. It can also have a chance to OHKO Corviknight after Stealth Rock damage should it try to remove entry hazards with Defog. Life Orb goes in tandem with a Modest nature and respective EV spread to help ensure Seismitoad is hitting as hard as possible while giving it flexibility while attacking. It should be noted that Seismitoad has good Dynamax potential as well; it can freely set up rain without relying on Pelipper and, if running Sludge Wave, can get a Special Attack boost from Max Ooze.

Because rain plays such a major role in Seismitoad's ability to perform well, Pelipper is a critical teammate to have; it is able to set up rain on a switch in and bring Seismitoad in via a slow U-turn after the weather change. Alternatively, since Seismitoad can struggle against other Water-type Pokemon such as Gyarados and Rotom-W, Ferrothorn makes for a good teammate, as it is able to tank opposing rain-boosted attacks and offer Spikes support to boot. Gyarados itself can make for a deadly setup sweeper under rain along with Seismitoad and can get an added boost with Moxie. Corviknight can also make for a good teammate, as it can not only pivot Seismitoad in and effectively go up against Zacian on a switch, but can also offer Defog support to further help keep Seismitoad healthy.

Seismitoad is one of the few offensive stealth rock users; which is also a main selling point it has over Barrasweda/Ludicolo etc as a rain abuser.

and Shell Smash boosted Polteageist
Timid teapot outspeeds, clarify modest

Earth Power can actually OHKO Toxapex, Zacian-C, and Life Orb Eternatus.
Checked some calculations on these, it has a chance to OHKO these after SR, make sure its clear.

Probably worth touching on Dynamax potential, being able to break early and set rain for itself without completely relying on pelipper. Additionally to this, Sludge Wave is worth mentioning in the analysis - you gain spa boosts in Dynamax and Max ooze has some noteable targets, but get walled by Ferrothorn which is the major downside.

Corviknight makes a good option as a pivot and hazard remover, provides an additional Zacian switch in etc.

Under rain, Seismitoad outspeeds almost everything...
Minor point, but this just isn't factually correct. There are literally a dozen things that are faster than rain toad. You beat the unboosted metagame, up to base 100 scarfers, and modest shell smashers. Focus on these facts rather than nebulous and factually incorrect openers.

Focus Blast is essential for taking down Hydreigon after Stealth Rock damage and countering Ferrothorn, though try to see if it has Power Whip, first.
Ferrothorn is a more important target than Hydreigon, so mention it first. Also merge the Hydreigon mention with Lapras, you want to keep focus and cover what this move does in a single statement.

Stealth Rock is used to chip away at opponents and helps Seismitoad sweep more easily.
This move description is so boilerplate that it doesn't really justify itself. Toad being an offensive rain Pokemon that gets SR is important, what SR does as a move is frankly beyond the scope of a preview analysis. If anything, mention why toad is worthwhile as a SR setter (what does it set on, what anti hazard mons does it beat, what team structures does it supplement).
