XY OU Semi-Stall OU Team All comments Appreciated!

This is my first post on the smogon forums but I have been playing competitive since late B2/W2. I have scaled on X and Y OU with many other teams but recently I wanted to make a new account before trying it out in high 1400s so I made a test account. So that's it and I hope that I can make it better.

Current Team Record: 11-0

Current Rank On Ladder:1336

I Ladder Slowly so the Rank On ladder and Current Team Record will change from 2-10 times per day.
How My Team Works
Stallbreaker

victini.gif

Victini @ Leftovers

Ability: Victory Star

EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Spe

Adamant Nature
- Taunt/Substitute
- Will-O-Wisp
- Bolt Strike
- V-create

Ok so before I begin talking about this set I just want to say I like sub or taunt so its up to you. Now lets get on to this set it is mainly just a bulky set and it breaks some other stall users and it can be used to stop bulky pixies that don’t carry speed investment such as most mew sets and pokemon that have a base speed lower than 100. This set I did take from the inferno stall RMT so go check that out if you want a little more insight on what this set can do. http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/enter-inferno-stall-1k-likes-rmt.3512872/

Physical Wall

suicune.gif

Suicune @ Leftovers

Ability: Pressure

EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA

Bold Nature
- Scald
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Calm Mind

Suicune’s most popular set croecuine. It is basically the dedicated physical wall of the team and I need it because it can tank 2 hits from choice band azumarill and mega-mawile and after it takes those hits maybe it can retaliate back with scald and get a burn.

Physical Attacker/Pivot
conkeldurr.gif

Conkeldurr @ Assault Vest
Ability: Guts
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Atk / 20 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Ice Punch
- Knock Off

Edit: Ok so conk is really here to hit stuff hard and take a hit It is really just here for bisharp so I may find another poke that does this job better and replace him and he is probably 1 of the two mons here for filler or just for a hard hitting role but his typing goes ok with victini and zapdos so that is also partially why he’s here. Conk also is eviolite users worst enemy such as the ever common chansey. Also Chansey isn't too much a of a problem if I have conk and one of my taunt users alive to stop it from stalling.

Special Wall/Hazard Setter Upper.
heatran.gif

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 212 SpD / 44 Spe
Calm Nature
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Lava Plume
- Roar

Ok so this is the new heatran set who is replacing hippowdon and his role is basically to set up rocks and to stop some things such as weakness policy aegislash and I put 44 speed evs because of m-mawile and non invested azumarill. It also stops late game sweeping talonflame. Also I chose roar over protect for phasing because of hippowdon having a phasing move plus I think its better on tran.

Credits for the set go to users Angleaa and WideTomato.

Wall

zapdos.gif

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 220 HP / 200 Def / 36 SpA / 52 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Discharge
- Roost
- Defog
- Heat Wave

This zapdos set is custom and made for beating mandibuzz and can beat azumarill so long as you don’t switch it into a play rough or waterfall I will post some links to the battles later but for right now it is really a pivot switch.

Wallbreaker/Semi-Stall Breaker

gardevoir-mega.gif

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hyper Voice
- Psyshock
- Taunt
- Focus Blast

Edit:This is a pokemon that I put just because I never used it and I need a special hitter that hits hard. Also I put the following moves on it to counter checks such as ferrothorn, scarf heatran, and basically any other pokemon that walls or counters it. Changed shadow ball to taunt for other stall mons that like moves such as roost and etc.

So that basically wraps up the how my team works section so please I will try to fix things that people comment and may this team turn out good!

which is in mid 1400s I will switch back to test account just forgot also its against another semi-stall team.

So that basically wraps up the how my team works section so please I will try to fix things that people comment and may this team turn out good!

Threats

landorus.gif

Calm Mind Landorus can really put a dent in this team if it has sludge wave, psychic, and earth power.

First off is one shots heatran without boosting up due to that 4x weakness It also one shots victini without boosting and it outspeeds bulky victini. It has a chance to one shot gardevior and outspeeds it by 3 points or so. Next is suicune who gets outsped and has a good chance of dying to earth power in two hits unless at +1 special defense. It 3 hit KO’s zapdos normally but zapdos can’t three shot it and dies to a two hit KO after rocks. Plus conk can’t switch into an unboosted psychic without dying in two hits.

Here are the unboosted calcs: 252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Psychic vs. 252 HP / 20 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 281-333 (67.8 - 80.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Sludge Wave vs. 236 HP / 52 SpD Zapdos: 166-196 (43.6 - 51.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Sludge Wave vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 250-294 (89.9 - 105.7%) -- 37.5% chance to OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 240 HP / 0 SpD Victini: 460-541 (114.7 - 134.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 212+ SpD Heatran: 655-769 (169.6 - 199.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 203-239 (50.2 - 59.1%) -- 76.6% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Here are the boosted calcs not including tran and victini

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Suicune: 304-359 (75.2 - 88.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Sludge Wave vs. 220 HP / 52 SpD Zapdos: 250-294 (66.4 - 78.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Psychic vs. 236 HP / 20 SpD Assault Vest Conkeldurr: 421-497 (102.6 - 121.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

+1 252 SpA Life Orb Sheer Force Landorus Sludge Wave vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Gardevoir: 372-439 (133.8 - 157.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

So yeah if this landorus set shows up and achieves plus one and zapdos and suicune are not at least near 100% health then I get swept so if you guys can help me out with a pokemon or a change in an ev spread would be appreciated.
Note: Try to only change ev spreads because after 1 more pokemon change I won't be changing up pokes anymore unless a certain threat can't be stopped by a moveset change or an ev spread change.

okay so I really do not see Hippowdown helping your team much at all with its typing and even with the boost it gets from sandstorm it cannot do much to help the team. I suggest using Heatran since it stops ice moves/flying moves and tanks most special hits (that aren't ground heh) So I am going to recommend replacing Hippowdown with this Heatran set :

heatran.gif

Heatran @ Leftovers

Ability: Flash Fire

EVs:
Calm Nature 252HP/248SPD/8spe
These Ev's to make sure you out speed some other pokemon or other heatran for that matter and also take hits especially on the special side :]
Move Set:
- Stealth Rock
Hazards Needed to stop certain pokemon, Hazard Setter of the team Prevents those pesky talon flames from getting that much brave bird sweeping.
- Toxic
Now what is stall without toxic considering this is semi stall no shame in having this thing around'
- Lava Plume
Lava Plume really no need to explain why other than Stab move high 30% burn chance (that still burns less than scald even though they have the same chance to burn)
- Protect/Roar
Now to finish the stall-like heatran just add a bit of protect . Set up your rocks , (or toxic if you predict a switch) then Protect to scout the next move [: No real reason not to use protect. Now Roar is in case your Opponent sets up on you and you need to get it out like a Weakness Policy Aegislash.

It helps with the Semi-Stall Core. Another Thing to stop late game sweeping Talonflames in the sense that Zapdos goes down before the Talonflame. This Can't be Toxic'd nor burned so can easily switch into certain stall pokemon as well as that random sableye you see every once in a while. It can tank special Aegislash's hits for a a while (assuming its not a Weakness Policy Aegi)than are a semi threat to your team as well. Other than that just a standard semi stall Heatran. Hope I helped :]

I agree with this change, but i think you should run 44 speed evs, in order to outspeed max speed azumaril, mmawile and a lot of other, slower pokes.

other than that, i would suggest running taunt > shadow ball on gardevoir, this will ease your time against stall team a lot ^^

thats all, hope it helped ^^

Thank you for the reply and I will be trying out heatran and will fix it.

And I will also make a change to the ev spread for my heatran and I will try out taunt on m-gardevior.
