Server problems

Sup, smogon.

I downloaded shoddy a few weeks ago, and every time I attempt to connect to any server, I get the following error message.

An error occurred while attempting to connect to the server:

Connection timed out: connect

Help, please. I need to try my team... *Cries softly*

Have you tried using the "Advanced" Option? If you havent, you should try it.

Click Advanced, then write shoddybattle.smogon.com on Host and 50000 on Port.

Just tried. To no avail, my friend. I just don't understand why the program refuses to connect.

I'm facing frequent disconnections too. I can't battle, view a battle, or chat smoothly. Off - topic though, just letting you know.

Install the update. Maybe that will help. You maybe want to update your Java?

It might be a firewall problem. On my own personal server I get that problem because of a firewall setting.
